Im not one to post a lot of reviews but supporting this place, after consistently receiving excellent customer service and experiencing many pleasant visits, its the very least I can do! For starters, Perfect Wash is flanked by a little dive bar to the left and a Mexican restaurant to the right. The food is fantastic at the restaurant and the bar is perfect for grabbing a cold one while your laundry tumbles around (if youre in to that sort of thing). The beach is within walking distance so you can go catch a beautiful view while you wait or even soak up a sea breeze on the tables outside the facility. Perfect Wash, itself, is ALWAYS clean and the staff members are cheery and helpful. The customers, themselves, are typically nice and friendly as well. This is probably due to the serene nature of the neighborhood. This place can get busy and its not the cheapest in town but you can usually find machines right away and the place is definitely worth the extra quarter or two! The machines dont accept cash or coins so you have to use their card dispensers with cash/credit. Every now & then, when you add value to your card, youll win $2 or so of laundry credit! Nice little surprise. Theres a t.v. and music as well and the machines are all clean and state-of-the-art. There are 3 different sizes of washers and two dryer sizes. They will do your laundry for a small fee and Im pretty sure they deliver within the neighborhood. So... thats about everything I can think of. To be honest, Im moving to Florida next week and Im going to miss this place! Yes.. a laundromat.. Ill miss it! Bottom line is, this is my favorite laundry facility I have EVER been to! Now stop reading and get to work!

Pros: Clean floors most of the timeCons: The dryersIve been going here almost 2 years. For the past year, none of the dryers ever work. Im a laundry freak. I dont overload machines, I dont use fabric softeners or dryer sheets, I use appropriate amounts of soap. WHY, do the dryers never work? For about 6 months none of the dryers worked except maybe 5, so Id play bingo with them by starting one for 8 minutes and seeing if it actually heated up. Fun fact, none of them ever did except a few in the middle. I shouldnt have to pay 7 dollars to dry 7 towels in 1 dryer. The maintenance aspect of the dryers is abysmal and unbelievable. I like that this location is safe so I keep coming here, but I cant take it anymore.The cleaning ladies are nice, but when 4 dryers eat my money and nobody is here, its hopeless and stupid. You cant even say its me not letting the dryers work because of overloading. I dont even fill them up halfway.The new policy of 30 minutes for $1.25 is hilarious when the dryer takes 60 to dry a twin size cotton duvet and 2 pillowcases. I finally was doing laundry when it wasnt busy and people werent begging the cleaning lady for assistance with getting their money back and told her about how one of the dryers didnt dry my clothes after 40 minutes. She acted like I was crazy then touched the clothes and swiped the card on the dryer next to that one for me. Surprise! Another 40 minutes and my clothes were cold to the touch and still damp. I felt like I was wearing a tin foil hat and telling her about conspiracies and she begrudgingly gave me $1.25 back and I finally just used a dryer that I knew for sure worked that wasnt being used at this point and I finally dried my clothes.I cant keep coming here and Ill just go somewhere else because this is stupid. This isnt a one time thing, this is a two years thing. And I know the owners cant tell people what to wash but half the time I have to sniff a washer to make sure it doesnt smell like a childs feces or someones dog bed to put my clothes in. Ew. These things need to be sanitized every morning apparently because people are astonishingly disgusting. Ill give a few more tries but as long as the washers smell mildewy or rancid and the dryers as per usual dont heat up, Im just done. I wish I didnt give this place my money. It was great the first 3 months I went and then... yeah.

This facility would be worth 5 stars, if I was white.I came here alone during the day, but felt an immediate tension upon walking in.The facility was nice and clean, and all machines were in working order. However it was the other patrons that made me want to leave... I clearly heard them making rude comments about my race. (Im half white, half black). Everyone was overly UNfriendly, shuffling by without saying a word, dirty looks at me from accross the room... One woman even moved my basket to make a place for her own without even the slightest glance or teeny scuse me.Even as more people came to do laundry I felt the same, odd vibe from everyone. I smiled and tried to nod a friendly hello at people, but got absolutely nothing friendly back in return.I felt nervous and sad and I almost left at one point with my clothes still wet, because I felt out of place.I just moved to Huntington Beach and before this it never crossed my mind that there may be racist neighborhoods to avoid. As much as Id love to think this was an isolated incident, from now on Ill just find somewhere else to do my laundry, in another part of town.

Very Clean, nice shopping center, choice of 3 types of washing machines, 4 or 5 places to get a bite to eat, Kaddy-Corner @RiteAid they always have name brand detergent on sale every week. I like This Laundry, They Have A Restroom With .25 Cent Coin Lock To Keep The Riff Raff Out, And The Quarters Coming In, As They Chase The American Dream Oh, Yeah...I need capital to develop a fabric softener that smells like U.S. currency so if there are any angel investors reading this review lets have a cup of coffee and do a load of laundry, and talk about this! It Smells Like Mucho Dinero because it is Mucho DineroThatll be part of my trademark lock up! Dont worry I didnt give it all away, it would be impossible to figure out! ?

New owners purchased the place a while back, since then the prices have gone steadily up and quality has gone steadily down. The washers are not clean, they smell like mildew and nasty clothes, even early in the day. It tells me they arent cleaning them every day like the old owner used to, if they clean them at all. The place where you put your soap in the machines is disgusting. Lots of dirt and grime, and they are often clogged with someone elses powder detergent and old water. The addition of game machines (a quarter gambling machine and some sort of prize game) ensures that plenty of creepy folks are hanging around, not doing laundry, but hoping to win something. The place has trash lying around from people throwing wrappers on the floor. People put their dirty dogs and kids in the rolling baskets, so your clean clothes smell like dog, or dirty kid. Also, because they are doing this, there are often not enough baskets when you need one. The old owner was usually on the premises cleaning and helping out, now there is someone there occasionally, but she doesnt clean and isnt particularly helpful. They installed upgrades in the form of a coat of paint, some cheap LED lights and faux granite countertops, and then promptly jacked the prices up.I mean, its not the worst laundrymat Ive ever seen, but its not worth what they charge, or the hassle. Very glad I dont have to use it anymore.

The dudes behind the counter are cool and they got the bucket of cheap shots right there on the counter. Its very convenient since its right next to the laundromat that has arcade games. Its a mellow way to spend a couple hours doing laundry and playing puzzle bubble and they have a good selection of interesting drinks as well. Like interesting sodas and sparkling juices.

Not much to say. Its a former supermarket shopping center, so you will find some useful stores next to the gym. There is a karate dojo, a healthy bowls restaurant, a coffee shop, Italian restaurant, Subway and a mailing center. Most of these places are in need of a rehab. The entire shopping center looks like it is stuck in the 1970s. The gym is inside an old Albertsons and still looks like a supermarket from the outside. Inside, the gym is actually very nice and recently remodeled. A lot of people complain about parking, but if you go around the back of the gym, there is a side parking area that is usually pretty empty. Nothing really exciting here, but useful stuff.
