He listened to our concerns, explained what he thought our options were, how much it would be, and then went to work. When he got to our home, my husband spoke with him and they agreed on the plan. When Ian showed up he did an excellent evaluation of my garden area clogged drain issue for no cost. (I attempted to use our garden hose with a jet nozzle to no avail, only to just get very muddy.) They came out within three days after calling them, called prior to arriving and arrived on time. When I asked why they would refer me to them, they said that they are experts in pipe systems.Lawrence from ZOOM DRAIN was very professional and responsive. They kept me informed along the way as to when they would be there and gave me an estimate over the phone.In addition, he is sending his technician back to fix a leak underneath the kitchen sink. It appears that the lock ring on the drain basket needs tightening and he was willing to send a technician back at the end of the week to fix that at no charge, I will be using them again as I have rental properties in San Clemente and need an honest fair plumber.

Comment: Zoom Drain was AWESOME! Rodger, my technician, was so great! He came out initially to do a free inspection and offer a free quote. He spent a lot of time with me trying to diagnose properly and re-create the drain backing up issue. We identified that my drains were full of FOG (Fat, Oil, and Grease), a peanut butter like substance. Roto Rooter came weeks earlier to snake the drain, and made no difference. Rodger, with Zoom Drain, suggested that we hydroblast the drain to blast through and remove that peanut butter like substance all together. Not only that, another one of our drains, the main line, had a root interference from trees. He showed me the FOG and the roots with a camera that he inserted into the drains before blasting them. Now my drains are running clear! Finally! What a great service, and what a great technician! I’m so grateful for Roger. We felt so comfortable with him. He was on time, professional, friendly, thorough, and went above and beyond to make sure, our trains were taken care of correctly. We’ll definitely use them again!

Comment: I had a Saturday clogged kitchen sink that after trying the Drano method, snake it myself still could not clear the drain. I called a plumbing company I searched on the internet with good reviews and they gave me the number for Zoom Drain. Called then and got a call back in just a few minutes. They happened to have a technician just finishing up a job near me and within 30 minutes of my call Roger was at my front door to give an assessment of my problem. He said that most likely he would be able to clear it out with a snake and if not then a hydro-jet clearing would be needed, gave me the estimate for each job and then proceeded to start to work. After trying to clear with a bigger diameter snake he then gave it a try with a smaller diameter one and that worked!! He was working for over an hour and did solve the problem. He was very clean and made sure that the job area was spotless before he left, using a drop cloth to keep the area under the sink and the floor by the sink cabinets very clean. He did about a 10 min running water check to make sure the drain was free and clear. An excellent job all around. The price of for a weekend service call was very reasonable.

After going over all the pricing involved, Ian put a camera down and didn’t find any roots in the main sewer line and let us know he wouldn’t have to clean out the sewer line, which saved us a lot of money. He took up the toilet and removed the roots that were coming in from under the slab and fixed the problem. The cost of the visit was way less because of this. Comment: We had a clogged Kitchen sink. We used all DIY means, but did not have good results. So we called a plumber who tried to unclog it using simple cable, without success, and advised $750 hydro jetting, which we declined. To his credit he did not charge us. That is when we did some research and decided to Call Zoom Drain. First I talked to Shawn, who patiently explained the possible method and scheduled an appointment the next day. The service was done by By Johnny Rodriguez, who tried first a rotating cable head and was successful in unclogging the drain line extending to the front of the property. I asked him if hydro jetting would give any advantage. He said he could do it ( for more money ) but advised against it. He offered us an Enzyme based drain cleaner to maintain the line, which we accepted. During the whole process, which was basically handled by my wife, they observed all cleanliness precautions and left a clean and ready space without any mess. That despite the fact that the drain cleanout was under the sink. This was by far the best plumbing job I have ever Had. I recommend them to any body needing a clean and professional job.

Comment: Can’t say enough about Zoom Drain and the crew who helped us get our problem solved ...I had major drain issues on one side of my home and had a few quotes that were outrageous, and various piece meal repair jobs over the years that never solved the issue. Zoom drain did an excellent job and were very honest when small damage in a sprinkler pipe occurred - they came out immediately to fix and check the line. From the beginning call to Steve, who continued to follow up through-out, to Paul and Ian who performed the work, they were fantastic, honest and kind. Sadly it just seems so rare these days ....

Comment: Great service! I had a clogged backwash pool drain and Johnny was able to assess the issue and provide the options to fix it. He was patient and did a great job to explain what each option did. During the repair, he helped explain more about types of issues with cast iron piping and the general methods used to fix or replace them. As for the repair, he was quick and efficient, and I am very happy with the job. Thank you!

This was my first time using Zoom Drain and I was beyond impressed with Johnny, my technician, down to Steve who answered the phone. Upfront pricing, no gimmicks or hidden fees. Steven assured me that they could most likely take care of the problem without going into the walls and cutting and replacing pipes, drain, etc... He sent Chris over to help us out and he arrived on time and fixed the problem so quickly and he was so nice! Another company had come out with earlier in the day and said the whole drain was going to need to be rebuilt. He didn’t even look at the drain before telling me that he’d have to tear out the drywall and do 1000 other things, all costly. So happy I called Zoom and got another opinion. Comment: I was really impressed with Zoom Drain from end to end. To begin, they are highly coordinated with a seamless schedule and response process and came right as scheduled. Chris B and Ian were the professionals who came to help fix my clogging/draining issue across toilet, sink, and shower. They were very knowledgeable, skilled, and polite. I felt trusting that they would get to the issue, and they kept me informed along the way. I had a big issue with tree roots and old pipes and they did not stop until they got them all out. It took major skill and experience and they were perfect for the job. I really appreciated the entire process. Extra bonus for being so mindful to keep the door closed and not let my cat out. I tried everything to fix the garage disposal so I wouldn’t have to deal with a rude person. The experience was great! Comment: Paul Skibba did a great job clearing the clog affecting the drainage in my two bathrooms. Both toilets, plus tub and shower, were not draining properly. I had accidentally flushed a wash cloth down the hall bathroom toilet a few days prior and for awhile it appeared it may have made it’s way to the main sewer line out in the street. Turns out I wasn’t so lucky, and sure enough, everything eventually was backing up in both bathrooms as they share the same drain line. Paul determined that he would need to snake the line by removing the toilet from the floor. He then cleared the clog with his drain snake, which retrieved the stuck washcloth when he reeled the drain snake back into his machine. Paul then ran his camera snake forty plus feet into the affected drain line, just to be sure everything looked good....All was good! He then remounted the toilet to the tile floor and we were back up and running...draining and flushing! Paul did all this all quickly and efficiently, and left the bathroom clean. Thanks Paul, great job! A+

Shortly after getting off the phone with her, a text came through letting us know the technicians name and arrival time. Sean arrived quickly and worked hard. Although we were only able to retrieve one of the two items that were flushed down the toilet, I was so appreciative and thankful for his hard work and dedication. There was a clogged drain that another company could not get to and needed a camera at additional cost to see what was going on. Paul was able to remove the clog after using two different snakes. Based on what we saw through the camera he recommended zoom jetting the drain line to clear the accumulated matter on the pipe. This was at additional cost but I saw the difference in the pipe after he put the camera back into the drain pipe.Good job Paul and Zoom Drain.

Comment: Sean (and Paul) were awesome! The County Inspector needed to see my earthquake flex connector to the main sewer line. The guys had to locate it and dig down to expose it! They were very pleasant the whole time! The inspector returned a third time and was still not happy! I texted Sean (a month after the service call) and he had me send him a picture of the work. He called my inspector himself and sent her the picture and voila - after 3 months - she signed me off! Sean totally went above and beyond!
