Comment: This place lies about having an attendant on site. So there’s no one to ask for help, and no one to unlock the bathroom. They are probably violating some kind of labor law with this loophole, but at least it makes it a great place to wash your shoes since there’s no on there to enforce the rules!

Comment: Well, this is the cleanest laundry mat Ive ever been in. Its been 30 years since Ive done this. The young lady Betty is wonderful... I felt so out of place with the new tech, and she took the patience and the time to teach me. I felt like he uncle... Lol large size machines makes everything so much easier... I would like to give a special shout out to Betty, he kindness and understanding made it fell like I was at home... Always thankful John

Comment: The absolute worst and most dishonest people. I used to use their wash and fluff services for almost 3 years. I was always wondering why I kept losing my clothes. Then, they started noticing that they were being stolen by them. They kept stealing my most expensive pieces. They only compensated me once for $25 (for something worth $150). The people who run this place are theives. My friends who I referred to this place were facing the same issue! So its not just me.If someone knows how to take legal action against them, please let me know. I probably lost about $500-700 here, at least

Comment: I have been going to this laundromat every week for about 6 years. In the last couple years they put up an “out of service” sign on the bathroom in order to deter homeless from using it. The bathroom is not out of service. If the attendant knows you, she’ll let you use it. But, if you get a rude or new attendant, they won’t let you. There’s also no public bathrooms around. For a laundromat where you’re committed to being there for a while, they should really let customers use the bathroom. Not only is the dishonesty of the “out of service” sign obnoxious for paying customers, the attendants here on Monday 8/1 at 3:30 pm clearly enjoy saying “no”.Update: the person (presumably owner) who responded to this review claims that my review is not true. It is true. Note that the response was wildly defensive and neglected to respond to the real issue at hand, meaning the fact that they have have a false “out of service” sign up for well over a year. I have used the bathroom countless times while the “out of service” sign was up. Clearly it’s time to find a new spot.

Comment: I dig this laundry mat however Betty the laundry attendant doesnt listen too well. I tried to tell her about the water on the floor after having an issue with the washing machine earlier. I wash my sauna shirt all the time here and it doesnt collect water like today. The machine had been emergency stopped for a few minutes. The maintenance guy fixed it. So when my clothes were done my sauna shirt collected the water. Like i said it usually doesnt do that. So the machine didnt spin it out.She became upset at me. Basically blaming me for the water. I tried to explain to her what happened she doesnt listen. I just was telling her she needed to get a mop for the water. I guess she thought I was going to mop it up. Idk why I dont work there she does thats why they pay her. Make it even worst it was brown paper towel in the machine I had to pull it out before washing. Then I told her about the dryer machine payment kiosk. It doesnt allow you to add the time you have to swipe your card each time. I thought that is not OK. So I told her maybe put an out of order sign 🤔. She goes you see it was already there and someone took it off. I said yes, OK put another one on the machine and put in a work order. That wasted my time standing just pushing on a button thats broken 😕. When if it was an out of order sign I wouldnt have put all my clothes in there. Then have to take them out. Its the consideration for your customers. Apparently it might have been broken then fixed and now broken again. If things are broken fix them. And if there is trash everywhere why arent you doing your job properly. Like you should be making rounds around the machine every hour checking the machines to be clean for the next guest. Cause why do I have to pull trash out the machine 😒. The first time I came here I didnt know how to add money to the machine. I accidentally added too much. I asked for a credit she wouldnt even offer any options. I let it slide,but if it was my laundry mat. I would have given a credit because there is no directions posted. Telling you how to add money to the kiosk payment. Hopefully Betty will be more proactive.

Comment: I went to this place for the first time the other day and its the bomb. I did a six loader ya know kinda tight but they came out extremely clean. And the dryers were faster than I was. Its a 15 on the scale of one to ten Oh and they have a free delivery service as well. Im inpressed.

Comment: The prices were raised across the board as much as $1.50 per load. That’s even higher than the rate of inflation, and feels like a cash grab. This is now the most expensive place in the area. My last trip cost almost $40 to do it all myself in a hot, humid room while the bathroom was mysteriously out of order. Amenities are nice, overcharging people who probably aren’t rich to begin with because we don’t own our own washing machines is shady. Also, since this is a place where people spend 2+ hours, the bathroom and air conditioning SHOULD be working but never seem to be.

Comment: This place is magical! Ive been doing my laundry here about 2 or 3 times a month for over a year and they remain super consistent. Ive been on pretty much every day of the week at all times of the day and I never have to wait for a washer or dryer.The place is clean and trendy looking and all the machines look newer. Best of all every machine has a reader for debit, credit or loyalty cards which they have a special where you add $10 to your loyalty card and you get $2 added for free! The machines also take quarters and there is a change machine in the back to get quarters if you only have bills. If you go between the hours of about 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. there will always be an attendant to help out with whatever you need and in my experience theyve always been super friendly and helpful.Before I end on a high note, I have to reveal one major flaw with this place (air out some of its dirty laundry if you will LOL.....) parking at this place is rough. The lot and spots are tight and they fill up quickly Also each spot has a 30 minute time limit. But If you go on a less busy day\time you probably wont have an issue with parkingAnd to close this review on a high note here are a few more highlights of Wash and Go Laundry ..*Huge folding countertops right next to the dryers*Wash and fluff service*Free Wi-FiFree Soap!*Fun music*Couple of food places within walking distance*HUGH fantastic thrift shop right next doorSeriously laundromaters come check this place out they are doing so many things right!

Comment: I have been getting my laundry fluff and fold style done for years here. This is a great place to get your laundry done at a reasonable price. Love the smell of the detergent they use. I am disabled and they are very helpful to helping me load and unload my laundry into the car. The only thing I would say is the folding part is not very consistent. The rest is great. Comment: Initially In my first review I had given it a reluctant 3 stars as 2 seemed harsh. I have used this location on and off for about 4 months. The day in question was an everything that could go wrong did day. Parking as others mention was made worse by a family (uhaul truck and 2 cars) using it as a hub leaving and store cars as they moved in, entrance from el cajon blvd being partially blocked by cars parked in the no parking zone, and those that do not consider how crooked they parked. I realise that the business does not have a whole lot of control over the parking lot. The issue came inside where there were no washers besides the very smallest as many finished but unattended machines. The dryers all were full and many people were struggling to understand why they also were finished but no one had retrieved them. After being there 2.5 hours in comes a family of 6 and they unload all the dryers and start loading more from some of the earlier mentioned washers. The attendant or whom ever was there should have some control over this issue. The parking lot, transients and smoking I cant expect the business to police.

Comment: This place is great! Jessica was super helpful. I had an emergency-my washer and dryer stopped working and had several loads to wash (including uniforms for work). Originally went to another place just couple blocks away but was met with very unfriendly service so came here. And was pleasantly surprise by great service and great prices. Chose Fluff & Fold, Jessica told me she (or somebody else) will call me at 3pm, the same day and my laundry will be ready the same day. And it was! She called me at 3pm and I picked shortly after. Everything was neatly folded and placed in bags. Outstanding service, definitely will be back again! Highly recommended

Comment: UPDATE: Sam, the site manager reached out to me on Wednesday, April 28th, explaining that he would need a few more days to look through surveillance footage in regards to my missing items. He was more apologetic about the situation, and said he would call me with an update on Saturday, May 1st. My clothing was found, and was accidentally shipped to another Wash N Go Laundry site. I am grateful that they took the time and energy to look for my items and make the situation right.I work as a registered nurse, and I have been using Wash N Go Laundry since May of 2020. I am typically not one to write reviews, but I feel it is important to warn others of my experience. With the receipts of my items, this establishment has lost $828. 21 worth of clothing, by accidentally giving my belongings to the wrong customer. I started using Wash N Go for my complete laundry needs in January 2021; due to my apartment not having an on-site washer and dryer. I have had a good experience with the drop off/pick up fluff and fold service up until April 23rd. On April 23rd I dropped off a load of laundry containing 6 sets of Figs scrubs (which are quite costly) for work, and multiple pairs of jeans from Express (which also were not cheap). I came in today, on April 27th, to pick up my laundry with my receipt in hand. Jesy, who is always helpful, informed me that my laundry had been somehow mistakenly given to the wrong person on April 25th. Jesy was not the employee who mistakenly handed off my laundry to the wrong person on April 25th. My name is extremely unique; and every time that I have picked up my laundry, I have had to sign the copy of my receipt. Therefore, I find it very hard to believe that my laundry was mistakenly given to another customer. None of these practices were done before handing off my laundry, because the copy of my receipt in their books was not signed for. I wanted to wait to speak with the manager, but I was told that the manager was busy. Later, I received a phone call from an employee relaying a message from Sam the manager; asking if I could give them time to find out what happened to my clothing. I did not get an exact time frame; and I asked this employee if I could speak with management in regards to this issue.I received a phone call from Sam the manager, who did not have good customer service; nor was he apologetic about the situation. He said, mistakes happen and supposedly this has never happened before. Although I am reading otherwise in the reviews via yelp currently. He asked me to give them approximately 24 hours to review the surveillance footage, to see whom they mistakenly gave my laundry to.I work extremely hard for my belongings, and all of those Figs scrubs in that load of laundry were brand new. Not to mention, I need those scrubs to wear to work. I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation, and do not plan to use Wash N Go Laundry any further for my laundry needs.

Comment: Pros: Super clean, tidy, nice employees. Use of loyalty card instead of coins, giving extra $$ when you load a certain amount. Free soap if you happen to forget to bring any. Less expensive than my buildings laundry.Cons: The parking is pretty bad. People hold onto the laundry carts for dear life, acting like its their personal property, leaving none for anyone else to use. Employees are pretty lax when it comes to face masks - I have seen so many people not wearing them, and Im pretty sure the owner walks around without one ALL THE TIME (tall white guy with grey hair).Ultimately, just make sure you wear a mask, bring hand sanitizer, and maybe alcohol wipes.

Comment: The staff is bilingual (english/spanish) and they are constantly cleaning or wiping down the machines/counters. I feel confident with how their management is going. While I was folding clothes a lady had an issue with the dryer and was overcharge. They immediately gave her a refund and closed down that specific dryer. Very professionally handled. There is no public restroom available though. Apart from that I feel like their prices for the washers are fair and for the dryers I havent found any other place that gives 8 mins per quarter.

Comment: One of the girls at the counter kept the 20 tip for herself instead of giving it to the actual lady who washed my clothes and then denied me ever giving an extra 20 for the wash lady. I told her that they needed to rewind the camera and gave the wash lady the exact time. She thanked me for the thought but the other women still denied it. Until she watches the video transaction. I wont go there if she is there.Its so sad you cant trust anyone.The laundry however was beautiful and spotless.

Comment: Great place to do laundry! They keep everything Super Clean, in fact the young lady that works there never stopped cleaning. Mopped the floors, wiped down the machines, (inside and outside), cleaned the baskets and she did it while answering questions and giving out soap. The machines are definitely newer types and any problems with them seem to be human error. (From what Ive seen). My clothes have always come out fantastic! And the machines take either coin or credit/debit cards and they have several coin changers. Also every time I have been there the Scenery was AWESOME!! (I mean absolutely NO offense Ladies!). Definitely the place to do laundry if U live or are staying in the area. I actually travel a little bit to go there.

They have many locations along El Cajon Blvd. I use the one located in North Park mostly but have also used their other locations as well. So this review is for all the Wash and Go laundromats. First all the machines are very new, clean and many load sizes from single load to huge 8 load machines. Prices range from $1.75 for single load machines to $7.25 for the 8 load machines. They offer Fluff and Fold service for those people too busy or who hate doing laundry themselves. Plus and forgive the caps but it is necessary, PAY $10 AND THEY PUT $ 12. on your WashE and Go card. You cant get that kind of interest at a bank. PLUS FREE SOdAP! No kidding FREE SOAP! PLUS the huge dryers give you 8 minutes per quarter. No other laundromat in town or any other town offers 8 minutes of dryer time per .25 cents, FREE SOAP and $12 dollars for every $10 dollars paid.

Comment: Normally I like coming here, but realize they wont refund your money for faulty machines. Spent $4.50 on this load. Card was charged and door was closed, but machine wouldnt start. No one was on premise at the time, so I moved my load to another machine. A few minutes later, an employee arrived, to whom I explained my situation. She said I didnt pull on the handle hard enough, as shes pulling on it, literally with her whole body weight. Im thinking, Ive been washing here for a year and never had to pry these doors to close with the jaws of life. The employee was nice enough, but when I asked for a refund she told me that they couldnt because it wasnt their problem. Anyway, Id probably come back because of its location and its cleanliness, but their customer service is pretty lame, and apparently their machines can be sketchy.

I asked the attendant over a month ago and she stated that it was broken. Weve had crazy HIGH temperatures here in San Diego lately!!! The attendant did say it would be fixed soon. The next time i came in i asked before loading the machine if the AC was fixed and she said yes. After the last time i didnt want to sit and soak myself in sweat again. Although, the AC never came on. GrrrHere i am after 4-5 visits since the first broken AC and its hotter inside than it is outside. The current temperature outside is 71°. It feels refreshing to be outside as opposed to inside the laundromat. Like i said, this used to be my favorite laundromat. I like the cafe feel. Theres wifi, free soap (although i bring my own).The attendants lately havent been all that great. Today i had my clothes in a top load machine and she put the trash can lid on top of the machine. Eeewwlll, who does that!!????!!!

Comment: This laundromat has more reasonable costs compared to the other local laundromat that I used to go to. The largest washer is currently $6 and it says that it can wash 6 loads. In my experience it is capable of accommodating two mostly-full IKEA FYLLEN baskets of laundry (so maybe ~30-40 gallons of laundry? Just an estimate). The dryer currently costs 25¢ for 8 minutes. Parking is always a pain in the neck but I find that its worth it. They also have a decent amount of seating space and wifi.

The downside is the fact that parking is very limited, since this location shares a parking lot with three restaurants. Comment: I havent lived in North Park for too long but after searching for the best laundromat in the area, I always find myself coming back to Wash N Go.First off the facilities are clean and always being attended to. Jose (night shift employee) does an amazing job of keeping the entire place clean and assisting folks if they have laundry in a machine or if they need money on their loyalty card. Additionally, you can tell that the owner of the location has catered to the younger crowd because of the seating and available Wi-fi.Secondly, the machines are fairly priced $2 -$5 depending on the load and $.25 per 8 minutes on the dryer. If you are in a rush, they also offer fluff and fold services at an additional fee. I think one of my favorite parts about this spot is the fact that all the machines take card! Thats right, you dont have cash? Thats okay! Use your debit / credit card with NO FEES! Additionally, if you are like me and keep coming back, youll eventually get a loyalty card (which is basically a reloadable gift card).Lastly, the owner (couldnt get a name) is extremely nice and loves her customers. I cant tell you how many times Ive been greeted or Ive seen her greet the regulars that come in.So, if you find yourself in North Park and need to clean off the laundry, head over to Wash N Go. Believe me, you wont go anywhere else.

Comment: Love this place. The new machines are awesome! They really clean your clothes! Different machine sizes are another plus. Rewards program is a plus and convenient! I keep money in my card... Never out of quarters! Have to go early in the am to get great parking! The staff is great!

Comment: Clean, nice atmosphere, they provide laundry detergent if you dont want to bring it, and what I really like is they post the names of the people working and they are friendly and helpful, not like some places where you never even see an attendant. They have a loyalty card you can load with funds, and if you buy $10 worth they load it with $12. A big drawback is that if you pay for the loyalty card with a credit card, they have to process it for you and it takes a really long time, as they have to do a bunch of steps of data entry on their computer. I was told if I paid cash its really streamlined, but nobody has cash anymore! Theres a Subway, Rays Mexican and a Chinese place right there, so you can have a snack while you wash your duds, but it also means that the parking lot can be crowded. Also, I wish they would have one comfy chair, like a couch, but I guess its not as clean. Overall, a great place!

Comment: Well, first, I love the fact that I no longer have to collect quarters and its so easy to reload my card! Whenever I go in, the place is clean and the size of the washers is great too. I would be very sad if I had to go back to the old way of doing my laundry.

Comment: I love this place. I used to hate going to the laundry mat because most are dirty, crowded,& expensive. Not this place, its big, always very, clean, & a great price. The employees here are always super nice, they even show my puppy love :) The free soap is great; & the tvs, radio, WiFi, n great seating are a plus too. N their table to fold your clothes are big. Only bad thing is their parking lot is on the small n crowded side. But that has nothing to do with them. Love wash n go! Get their loyalty card! Load $10 onto it n you get $2 free :)

Comment: My wife and I went to Wash N Go with over 8 loads of laundry, never been to a laundromat here in San Diego. Thank God they had an attendant named May that showed us how to use the washers and soap. We really loved the long tables, it took us about 45 minutes to fluff and fold all our laundry. Super clean place, even found out they have free WiFi and I did not have to pay for soap, super sweet spot to hang out while your laundry is being cleaned. I think I will try the full services next time and see how that goes, keep up the great work!

Comment: Nice facility & very nice customer service & they keep it quite clean. I like the free wi-fi, the music & the big tables to fold clothes. The parking at times gets tight but that is just North Park. I also like the loyalty program that gives you incentive to wash clothes there. I do wish the dryers were a bit hotter, it takes a long time to dry heavy cotton bedding.

Comment: Wash and go, or stay! (Pay with debit/credit/quarters, free wifi, free detergent, electric outlets, and seating) They have two large flat screen tvs playing cable. The place is always clean and smells nice. Theres a huge sink to wash your hands with some soap which I personally enjoy the smell of. On every corner theres a bucket with free laundry detergent. Instructions on the wall will help you put the right amount in the wash. Theres music overhead, free wifi, and a place to sit and charge your phone. Theres a kids corner too! Only downside, the card readers will pre authorize $5 dollars which is eventually credited back to you. Ill still give them 5 stars because theyre working on a solution with a preloaded cash card and perks. Also in the works is an idea for a date night laundry party! Lastly I must say the prices are lower than my apartments.

Comment: This is the most cleanliness and the most niceness place I have every done laundry at. Very amazing, I recommend everyone go do laundry there. The only thing is they close early need to stay open until 1am. Or go 24 hours. Think about it.
