Comment: Ive reached out to Tina twice so far for my alteration needs. The first time, I was in need of shortening four pair of pants to fit my petite frame. The hemming costed $20 per pants, which I thought was a steal. The second time, I came to Tina for a silk dress alteration. All items of clothing came back to me well adjusted and fit to my liking. She is also great with responding timely to your requests or questions via texting.Tina is great at her craft and is an excellent needleworker! I recommend her because she is not only an expert, but also an incredibly sweet person.

Comment: I’m so happy I found my new tailor! Tina did an amazing job on two silk dresses I took to her to get adjusted. One was a full size up and she brought it down to my size. The dresses had incredibly delicate stitching, which she followed. Her new location is convenient to get to, there is ample parking, and her studio is fresh and clean and bright. Working with Tina has been such a pleasure, I’m already plotting what other things from my closet I want to take to her for the perfect fit. :)

Comment: I actually read a bunch of reviews before going to Tina. A couple weeks ago, I went in her studio to try on my dress and show her exactly what needed to be altered. Her studio was super clean and nice ! During the consultation, Tina even gave me suggestions based on my dress style and body type. Not only was it a quick turnaround time, but she really did a great job and worked the dress fit my body perfectly. While I was chatting with her, I found out she use to be a designer. This gave me such a boost of confidence that she was the right person for the job. For the most quality and precise workmanship, I highly recommend Tina!! 10/10

Comment: Tina saved my wedding dress! It was a qipao/cheongsam that I ordered online after giving my exact measurements but it ended up not fitting anyway. The collar was too big, the chest area was too loose and the dress was also too long. Tina fixed everything and made it fit like a glove! She also hemmed my moms reception dress too. Really appreciated that she still squeezed in an appointment for me into her schedule even though she was super busy. I had waited til less than 2 weeks before my wedding before going. Was definitely cutting it close but she turned it around in 5 days! Super meticulous but also reasonably priced.

Comment: Tina is responsive, warm, and incredibly skillful. I can’t recommend her enough as your go-to tailor in the Bay Area for alterations of any size. She has helped me alter a jumpsuit, a couple pants, and a dress for a wedding—all of which had tricky fabrics/colors and all of which came out looking flawless. When Tina didn’t have matching thread for a few of the alternations, she either bought an entirely new set of thread to get the one matching spool or painstakingly took out and reused the existing thread. She didn’t increase her original quote for any of these items, despite the significant increase in time and cost for her. I also really appreciate that Tina will talk you through the trade-offs of altering an item in a particular way (she previously led design at a fashion brand). Thanks for all your help, Tina!

Not only did she hem the joggers to the desired length, she also reattached the garter and made the pants tighter to fit my legs better. Super speedy service and the craftsmanship is unmatched. Comment: Tina is truly a master at her craft! I had 13 pairs of pants altered by another tailor on Taraval Ave and they were all messed up to a point almost not wearable. I shoved them in the closet and forgot about them. One day my sister called and informed me she found the most amazing tailor.....TINA! I called her and went right over to her place. She works out of her home in a nicely remodeled work studio. I brought over 3 pairs of pants. Tina had me try on each one and meticulously measured and pinned all the alterations needed on the pants. Not only did Tina reverse the horrid work on the pants, she made them fit like they were made for ME! I hope she never retires because shes one in a million!!!

Comment: My husband needed alterations to a suit he wanted to wear for our daughter’s wedding and Tina did an amazing job making it fit him just right. She let out each of 5 seams in the jacket for a bit of extra room around the middle, let out the waistband in the trousers to add 2 full inches there, took in all four seams along the legs of the trousers to update the style, and hemmed the trousers to the correct length. She also removed every trace of lint and steam pressed the jacket, pants and even the dress shirt we brought along for the fitting. She did all of this for a very reasonable price and completed the job with expert precision in just one day. She is truly a professional with a thorough understanding of her craft and an appreciation for customer service and satisfaction.
