Comment: I cant say enough about the Laundry Room - Allen location. I use their fluff & fold services. Theyre super fast, super responsive, and their staff is super friendly. Ive been using them for over a year now and my very first order there was a mix-up that prompted the owner to drop off the laundry to my home herself. Excellent customer service! Its always impeccably clean and quiet when I come in, plus movies on for the customers!

Comment: I went for the first time today. For a single load of laundry it was $6 to wash and $5 to dry. Happily, there was a machine to give coins. The dryer ate 2 of my quarters. So I paid more by 50 cents which isnt too bad but still annoying. If I had multiple loads, I can see that adding up pretty quickly. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon. By the time I left, nearly all of the machines were occupied. I dont think Ill use this place every week...too pricey. But when I cant use my own washer and dryer, this is a place to go.

Comment: I was a customer for many years at this laundromat unfortunately, we moved a little further down Colorado and had to stop coming. Even though we moved I loved this location and would go only when we had too much clothes to wash. As time goes by the location makes changes and it’s just not what it used to be. I have two sons and we would pay to use the restroom, then it was “out of service” but the employees could use it. I still kept kept coming back but the employees there are not friendly the way it used to be. As I’m here I wanted to work on my project and now I’m told there is no Internet here available anymore. Only for their registers. I remember when the password was “wash here” and now that’s not available either. I believe it’s time to stop giving it more opportunities, may I add its getting expensive to wash here. I used to love this place!

Comment: I asked the attendant if one dollar and twenty five cents for six minutes would dry my cloths, I was told yes something told me to put in a extra 25 cents so I did for another six minutes.My clothes came out damp making that attendant a bauld face LIAR.I will never wash my clothes here again!!They are thief’s and liars

Comment: Hello I been coming for a long time and I been here today and all of sudden they our charging dryer for 1.25 for SIX MINUTES!! I would understand if it was for 12 minutes but know there over charging for you to dry your clothes it’s getting that bad I might have to find a new place to go

Comment: I been coming to this laundry for a couple of years know and I have never had an issue but lately I have been. I was using a trollie the guy who was working here said he need it and I said I need it to put my clothes in the dryer and he didn’t even care at all he took my basket out of the trollie without my permission and took it from me and I was about use to put my clothes in the dryer and he didn’t even care. I had to put my clothes in with out it he is so unprofessional and I never have had

Comment: Ive been visiting this location for just a few months but I was visiting their larger sister location on Colorado for 2 years prior. When I noticed this location, I started frequenting it since the machines were in newer condition and it didnt seem to be as busy during the times I typically like to go to the laundrymat. I was last here about 2 weeks ago and theres been a price change. The large dryers are now 25 cents per 4 minutes and the smaller dryers are 25 cents per 6 minutes. I have added pics of the washers I like to use because I can choose the extra rinse cycle (adds 25 cents) for a total of $6.00 per cycle for the smaller washer. For one of the regular loads I washed today, Ive spent $9: $6 for the wash and $3 for 48 minutes on the dryer. That means $18 for just 2 of the 3 loads Im working on tonight. The 3rd load was in the large washer and large dryer because its my sheets and towels but I did not capture those costs. I know nothing is cheap anymore but I do have 3 concerns about this situation:1. This price increase is likely not at all commensurate with the efficiency of the dryers. These dryers dont get the job done in less than 48 minutes in most cases for me. I usually split my loads up a bit for drying just to ensure everything is fully dried in 48 minutes.2. This is a LOT of quarters (36 per small load for me tonight) to have to manually load in a machine and when the machines start acting up and not accepting the money, it becomes time consuming. This problem is one of the reasons I stopped going to the other location. Fighting machines to take your quarters is really annoying. Think about an electronic laundry card that can be loaded with credit cards or cash. Please and thank you!3. Please post the pricing info SOMEWHERE in the facility. Bonus points for adding to your Google Maps listing. I also think the hours for this location are incorrect on Google Maps. I really enjoy having all info readily available so I can make better decisions and Im sure others would, too.One additional request: please designate a couple of spaces near your entrance for laundry customers only. This place gets silly on weekends with people loitering in their cars/hosting gatherings in the parking lot to eat the food from the restaurants in this strip mall. Since I dont come to eat in a tiny parking lot while hanging out next to my car and eating pizza with people, I cannot relate to what these people must be thinking while they watch elderly men and women struggling to lug their laundry around the area to get into the laundrymat because nearly all spaces are taken.Again, please and thank you from a mostly satisfied customer.

Comment: Updated review: Ive used The Laundry Room on Allen religiously for the last three years since I moved to Pasadena. In that time theyve ruined two pieces of clothing. After the first incident, I felt quite bad when the manager didnt take responsibility and pretty much told me to deal with it. Guess I should have learned from that incident but I kept going, and recently a 2nd item was ruined. Ive gone back in on 3 different occasions asking to speak with the manager and I was promised by two different attendants that they would ask the manager to call me. I never heard back. Then as a last ditch effort I found their website and sent an email earlier this week and big surprise, Ive gotten no response. So frustrating and disappointing to go from being a huge fan of a business to discovering that when a little problem comes up they actually dont care. Since they believe its okay to treat their loyal customers this way, I know its time I move my business elsewhere.Original review: The fluff and fold service is great! They are fast and do a good job. The clean clothes can be picked up folded or hung on hangers.

Comment: Very clean facility and reasonably priced with up-to-date energy efficient machines. My only complaint is that it doesnt have air conditioning and with the facility sitting on the East side of Allen it gets all the afternoon sun, so its extremely hot in summer.

Comment: This place has everything you would expect to see in a laundromat. Regular size washers charge 2.25 as of May 24, 2020, there are 2 levels of heavy duty washers, all driers are same size charge 0.25 for 8 minutes, there is a change machine, laundry items coin operated dispenser and they offer wash and fold service.They got big screen TVs that usually play games and there are 2 tables for folding, 3 or 4 laundry baskets with wheels and 4 chairs. During the pandemic, they ask that you wait in the car if possible and stand 6 feet apart for safety. There is also a sink to wash your hands and trash cans for laundry related waste. Place is clean, staff is professional and friendly. Parking can be a challenge during rush hour cause of 2 restaurants in the shopping plaza and one market.

I use the fluff and fold service which is great, they text me when my order is done and it is always bagged so neatly when I pick it up. The staff is friendly and very organized, I have never had problem. The owner even works there when the employees need help. I will continue to use their services the place is clean and looks great!!!

Comment: This is my regular laundry location for dry cleaning ironing and I use the fluff and fold. I take my clothes in weekly to the Allen locationDecor is amazing the laundry room is always kept clean and organizedCustomer service is excellentI have never had any issuesMy clothes always come out greatNot to sure why The previous review had a bad experience maybe they are confused or reviewed the wrong placeI tried many in Pasadena previously and the laundry room surpasses all. They have two locations both are wonderful but I live closer to the one on Allen.
