Comment: The prices were ridiculous. I took in a pants suit and a trenchcoat and paid $64. There is nothing special or complicated about these items that required additional service to justify that price. The trenchcoat had a belt that buttoned in the back. They actually unbutton the belt and then charged me five dollars for each piece so $10 extra for the belt on a trench coat. I’ve never heard of anything more ridiculous. I will never go there again.

Comment: Please take your clothes somewhere else. I had two pairs of pants and a wool sweater done. When I went into the store it smelled weirdly funky and unpleasant...not exactly mildewy, but similar. There was a large bucket catching water falling from the ceiling. For some reason I ignored this and had my clothes cleaned anyway, and they came back smelling SO GROSS. The pants are machine washable so I washed them right away but the smell didnt come out!! The wool sweater I guess Ill just have to go to a different dry cleaner to get redone. $40 just to machine wash my pants myself and clothes that smell like mildew.

Comment: Same results as any other cleaners . Big sign saying NO CASH but credit card machine down- you either write down your credit card information on a post it sticker or come back ( 20 minute drive😖) Not a lot of parking. Definitely not an easy experience to go back ☹️

Make sure to ask for the price when you drop off your items!I borrowed a satin & velvet costume dress from a friend and had it dry cleaned before returning it. They charged me for two separate pieces, because the dress had a black tulle underskirt liner that I didnt even realize was not attached to the outer dress. I guess its my fault for not asking about the price ahead of time, but I dropped it off as one item so I was shocked by the price when I picked it up. I wouldve told them not to clean the tulle part had I realized it would cost $60 more!

Each time ive gotten great service, clean clothes and my buttons are still on the shirts. Not dissolved by the harsh chemicals. :)Little known secret- if you give laundered pants to be ironed, instead of pants for dry cleaning, it should be a little cheaper.

Comment: I came in with a vintage 1960s velvet coat to have dry cleaned with very little knowledge of care for such a piece. When I returned for the coat it came back immaculate. The attendant who worked on the coat mentioned that they did some research on the coat to make sure the proper cleaning methods were taken into consideration. We then began chatting about the history of the piece and I could tell how much care was put into this coat. I am so grateful for this kind of service.

Brought my uniform in at 12 noon and it was done by 12 noon the next day, even though they said after 4pm on the drop off. My Uniform looked crisp and clean as well as all the “brass” on the uniform removed/undamaged. Incredible work Swanson’s.

Nate offers solid customer service and is always in positive spirits.Now, in regards to the business actually doing what it is supposed to do, I would have to say it’s highly disappointing.I’ve taken a few dresses and a trench coat here and they have never actually removed all the stains. The items are pressed and look fresh but the cleaning doesnt look like it happened. No discount was offered and you still walk out paying $20-30 for clothes that are unsatisfactory.

Comment: This place has been around the corner from me for years, yet Ive always used another cleaner near the Capitol until a Swansons ticket seller, friendly as heck, came by the other day ... Decent prices become great with the coupons; they go a LOOOONG way, and make sure you save the 30% off for a really big order. Everyone is nice, professional, fast.
