Comment: This is the worst service I have ever received, honestly. I ordered two suits on May 23rd, and the mailing address was incorrect. I emailed immediately and they confirmed my address was corrected. They then didnt email me again, didnt ship my order and needed additional information for me. I called to inquire and was told i needed to verify my payment, which was made via Paypal(?). I told them I would be leaving on June 7th and needed the package before then. The representative assured me that could happen, I paid extra for expedited shipping. I called again the next day. No connection of the call history or my request. I see my extra payment was refunded. Held up by a team in the Netherlands with no care for urgency. Truly just poor customer service.I wish I could tell you how the suits were, but I never received them.

He also tried to look up supply at other locations as one of the pants I wanted was out of stock at the SF location. When hemming the clothes, he also took in every little detail going with my preference of a cuffed pants and hemming the legs so that the pants flowed from the hip line to the cuff. I would not recommend anyone more than Tyler when it comes to customer service definitely going above and beyond especially since I may not look the average purchaser.

Wasted an hour walking around with clothes (not suits) that I quickly wanted to try on and watched how at least 10 store assistants swanned around drinking coffee with empty fitting rooms. When I enquired why I couldn’t simply use the empty fitting room, I was told it was by appointment only and that it wasn’t my turn - yet the room remained empty for the following 20 mins. We ended up leaving (promptly followed by 2 equally frustrated customers) : what is management thinking? Time & time again this store delivers frankly awful customer service…they need to rethink their model.

They were able to take us as walk ins pretty quickly, and Armani was incredibly helpful! After pulling a couple of options to try, he totally understood what we were looking for and helped us find a linen suit and a couple of really great additional pieces, and gave tons of styling/outfit ideas. We made an appointment to pick it all up with alterations and try it on in a couple of days . Overall a great experience! Tons of really nice classic and on trend pieces, and really great employees. We will be back!

While appointments are required, which is understandable, my experience with a sales associate named Angel was incredibly rude. Despite being a repeat customer, Angel seemed impatient and unhelpful when I was unsure about colors and styles. Additionally, a friend who also had Angel as their sales associate experienced issues with alterations, with pins still in the suit upon pickup. Its disheartening to see such poor service, especially from a company known for its quality products. Its clear that there may be issues with staff training and management, and I hope Suitsupply addresses these concerns for the sake of both their customers and employees.

He recommended some great Perennial colors and educated me on how to properly wear them and what goes with what. I was intimidated about coming to any place for a suit and tailoring, but Matthew guided me through the entire process and was a huge help. Matthew is very personable and will take care of you. Matthew pinned all my areas for tailoring, and the end result was amazing because when I tried on the finished product (after picking it up a few days later), it fit me perfectly and looked like it was made specifically for me. Ive never liked my expensive suits from large retailers as they never fit right. This place just gets it.Even if you need a last minute shirt for a special occasion, they have many options available and theyll press it for you and youre out the door. Love this place.

Ianna, the representative helping to serve my needs was an angel and a Godsend!Had to buy a suit super last minute for my sisters reception in New Zealand and started looking for a place to shop online on Friday knowing I had to have alterations done before catching my flight on Monday. Yikes! After calling ALL of the highest rated and reputable suit stores from San Mateo all the way into San Francisco I was left quite disappointed as most made it seem impossible to have a suit altered and available by the end of the weekend. Suit supply was literally the only one that responded with encouragement saying they might be able to help me out and gave me an appt. for the next morning with Ianna.After arriving Ianna got straight to it and found a suit that was pretty nice, but just not my style. Even without having to say so, while I was still trying it on, she felt my vibe and went to the back to find other options. Came out with a gorgeous jacket more fitting to my style and personality and immediately got to measuring the alterations for the jacket and pants. In a quick moment she found a complimenting shirt, tie, pocket square, and shoes without me having to make any extra effort.Knowing that I was in an extreme time dilemma, she was able to put me in line for express alterations, telling me it would be done by the next day. Received a call in the afternoon saying that all the alterations were done and they rescheduled me to come in the next morning in order to try it on! Amazing!!!After trying it on I still felt a bit hesitant as the jacket seemed too tight to me, but Ianna with her expertise comforted me by letting me know that the fabric would relax after wearing it. Was still a bit hesitant and on edge after the purchase, but guess what? She was completely right! It relaxed within a little bit of me wearing it and it fit perfectly! Got crazy compliments too as everyone seemed to say it matched my personality, just as Ianna had assumed originally! She is a tremendous asset to the store!I will recommend everyone I know to visit Suitsupply. In awe of how organized and accommodating they were in such a short time frame. I am still amazed at how they were able to suit my needs perfectly. In total gratitude... Thank you so very much!!!Suitsupply is the BEST!

Comment: Alan …..almost got into a fight…?!?!! Still not sure exactly how it got to this point…I bought two suits before with absolutely no issues since there were no issues with the fitting itself. However, when ordering a custom shirt, the first fitting came out weird - so I suggested the arms be thinned out a little and the overall fitting was weird. I even brought another fitted shirt so they can make the alterations appropriately.After the alteration, I noticed the back was still crumpling around the scalpel area - not something you expect from a custom fit shirt. My purchasing experience was with Alan, and he was good until this point - when I mentioned the shoulders might be off, he started getting aggressive and telling me off that I did not mention it in the first fitting, and that I only mentioned the arms.At this point, Alan started raising his voice and got in my face, at which I questioned why he’s being so aggressive about it, at which he screamed “get your hands out of my face”. Yes I was making hand gestures coz I was genuinely asking why he was being aggressive, but they were nowhere near his face.I realized there wasn’t any point talking to him and cut the interaction short and proceeded towards the fitting room to change out of the shirt, at which point he stood in my way trying to start something. I was genuinely shocked but kept my calm to make it to the room to change without escalating the situation any further.I then got changed and returned the shirt and will NOT be coming back to this location. I came to the store in a calm and wonderful Saturday morning, and am leaving with my hands shaking and head fuming.We’re not even talking shopping experiences at this point, and knowledge of suits and shirts - all I ask is for a calm and stable human being to help me with the service I’m paying for.Alan was just in the mood for start something today and I just happened to be on the receiving end.

This seems to be what they’re best at, and they have a formula for it.My second experience with Suitsupply was extremely disappointing. I wanted a tuxedo shirt for my wedding. I ended up traveling to the store four times just to get this one shirt and eventually return it because it never fit well. Basically what happened was, they didn’t have my size and their employees continuously dropped the ball trying to get the correct size and communicating it’s availability. My second visit to the store in this saga was when I was told that the shirt they had ordered for me was available when it actually wasn’t. On top of this, every time I came into the store after my initial appointment I was “waitlisted” despite being told to come in by an employee each time. I wasted so much time on this whole thing and I doubt I’ll be going back.

Comment: My experience at this SuitSupply location has been quite disappointing. I originally went in and was fitted for 2 suits and 2 shirts. The initial fitting process was smooth and the salesperson I worked with was courteous and knowledgeable. However, when I went in to pick up my altered items, some of the items didnt have any alterations performed. Also, I was told that the suits I chose with my original salesperson were not the right fit. They had me go through the fitting process again and afterwards was told I was undercharged by my original salesperson and it would cost me an additional $400 to get the suits I thought I had already paid for. After going through the second fitting process I was told I would be scheduled for an appointment two days later to pick up my items. Turns out my follow-up appointment was never scheduled and I had to call in to get it arranged.

Comment: BLUF: Not really worth it. Spend less off the rack and get basic alterations, or go to a real local clothier and get a truly custom-made suit. Pay more but get actual personalized attention and every detail you could want.In the end, I wound up with a fairly good quality suit that was more or less what I was looking for. But the overall experience was not something I walked away from being entirely satisfied.Every time I was there, they were really trying to make it a real bro-y experience: offer a beer, let you hang out as long as you want. Honestly thats me- thats the kind of thing I like. But it felt like the actual suit fittings, they were trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible.First appointment, I had some ideas from looking at Suitsupply online, but I wanted to see fabrics & things first hand. The swatches in the store didnt match up to the options available online-- many I saw online they didnt have. Then after going through the swatches they did have, all but one of the 6-8 I picked were not available. No explanation. I guess having only one choice made it easier.Then we did measurements-- fairly professional overall and comparable to other places I have been. Then the salesperson starts going through options & putting them into the system to create my order. But he didnt ask me about most of them. At the end, I asked about a couple in particular that I wanted. He says, oh we can go back & change that. He just put in all the standard options for a lot of things. In the end I got what I wanted, but if I didnt know ahead of time, I wouldnt have even known I had a choice (e.g. lapel style & width, structure, canvassing-- really everything basic that makes up a suit). But he spent a lot of time gushing over what color lining & collar felt I could get, even though I told him I couldnt care less about the color of those (maybe those are the fun options that sell well. just speculating).The suit comes in pretty quickly. I go for fitting, and they really doubled down on the in-and-out quickly strategy. I had an appointment, but ended up waiting a bit as the salesman was still helping someone else. Fair enough-- Im sure different people take longer than others and you cant schedule that perfectly. But then hes STILL helping one or two other people at the same time as fitting me-- going back and forth, doing something with me while the others are just standing there, and vice-versa. Maybe someone he had to cover someone elses appointments last minute. I dont know.But he tried to do the actual fitting in about 30 seconds total. Didnt ask me a thing. Pinned up the pant legs hem to what he decided was the right length. Same with the jacket sleeves. Ok, that was easy. Youre all good to go. Sorry, but no. I dont like the pants to hit there, the waist is too loose, and theres other things we can tweak, too. Its my suit. Again, I ended up getting everything I wanted, but if I didnt know, I would just be getting the salesmans personal tastes.Lastly, their pant hems are weird. They sew a loop of grosgrain ribbon inside the bottom of the pants, to protect against wear. Good idea! But poorly done in my case and they WOULDNT FIX IT. When I asked, the salesman told me its standard and showed me other pants. But those were charcoal pants with a charcoal ribbon that was almost unnoticeable. My suit is TAN with BRIGHT WHITE grosgrain and very obvious where it was hanging below the hem. It also wasnt even, hanging out a lot more on one side. Worst, the hem pants were noticeably PUCKERED all around the hem. The grosgrain was just not sewn in right. I told the guy: it doesnt look right to me. Please fix it. He said sure, takes them back to the tailor and said quietly to her just press them real well. BS! I said thanks and took them to a local tailor who told me, sure enough, its not sewn in right, and she could remove it or replace it.In the end, I think I got what I paid for. I think the suit is good quality. But the experience is not something I would pay for again.

At one point, I was trying on two different sizes of the same suit, and she spoke to me in passing as if I were stupid and couldnt tell they were the same color...literally walking by saying, Theyre the same color! Theyre the same color! There were some other moments she had something smart to say, but best to not entertain. The staff was friendly and very helpful.However, when the suit arrived, the sleeves ended up being too short and when wearing it, the cuffs of the dress shirt would stick out far more than 1/4. I returned to the store the next day and was told that they had to charge me an extra fee for the alteration. Of course I complied because I wanted to get it fixed.However, it was not the customers fault that the measurements were off and the suit ended up with shorter sleeves than expected. To charge an extra fee for the alteration doesnt seem reasonable to me, thus the review has been edited to 3 out of 5 stars.TL;DR staff is amazing, but quality and policies put in place are not

The shirts are great quality; however, the pants are low budget and terrible durability - I had two zippers break within 1 month of purchasing them (approximately 4-5 wears), which they advised they ordered replacements; however, I still havent received the replacements after 2-3 months. I have visited twice to consult about the replacement pants and they make me wait for 20-30 minutes before telling me they havent arrived - I have had no follow up calls or emails from them. Strongly recommend finding an alternative place to purchase pants, as well as receive better and friendlier service.

I was fortunate to get helped in about 15 minutes and walked out about an hour later with a new tux ordered that should be ready for pickup in a bout a week. The gentleman who helped me (Ivan) was polite and knowledgeable and helped me craft the exact look I needed as going for. They offer a full tuxedo package that comes with a shirt, shoes, bow tie, cuff links, and suspenders which is priced at a discount and seems like a good deal. My stylist Ivan was professional and friendly, but more importantly had a great eye for the style and fit that I was trying to achieve. He measured me for three different custom suits so perfectly that when I went in to pick them up and try them on, not one of them needed alterations. He was patient and took his time to make sure that every part of the suit fit exactly the way it was supposed to. I would recommend suit supply and Ivan to friends and family without hesitation. Comment: Traveled 2.5 hrs to Suitsupply SF for a tuxedo. They had only 1 style. They took measurements and fit, sent to me. It fit very poorly, I will never wear again or go back to any of their stores. My advice, go elsewhere.Let me just add that service and fitting was so poor it was an embarrassment. I was forced to wear due to time constraints and it hit the trash bin immediately following the event for which it was purchased. The service was abominable, although the store was empty aside from one other victim, I waited at least 30 min to get someone to help. Then the ultimate fit a terrible joke I wouldnt play on am enemy.Needed to expound as my former review just didnt do justice to the picture needed to be painted.

Hebert also sprinkled in a ton of fun facts about different suits and origins, etc. Overall made the experience very fun and enjoyable, as it should be.Since all the choices can be very overwhelming, I simply told him the final look I wanted, and what events I was mainly going to use it for, and Hebert helped me narrow it all down and we picked out something I feel great about.

The store manager John, welcomed me in and even offered beverages as I got settled. I had an appointment for a custom fitting with Angel and I dont think Ive ever met a more kind, intelligent, and hardworking person before. She not only took the time and effort to make sure every aspect of the suit fit well, but she had me laughing and enjoying myself the entire time. He was not only friendly but had a true eye for quality and made excellent recommendations based on my preferences.
