Andrew first helped me out looking at different shades of grey and explaining a lot of the finer details of their offerings.After a couple weeks of research and comparisons, I decided I wanted to make this suit a bit extra special, and decided to go full Custom. Axl came highly recommended and did not dissapoint. I am an engineer who does alot of overthinking and is quite meticulous, and Axl was calm, cool, collected, and offered his expert advice while still adhering to my vision.The suit came in 2 weeks later, and the fit was nearly perfect. Just had to get the pants hemmed a bit. 24 hours later, Mila and Austin helped get me sorted and helped me with tie and shirt choices. Both were extremely helpful and made me feel confident with my choices.All in all, these folks were great and I found myself wanting to buy more and more in the future. You can’t go wrong with Suitsupply if you’re in the market for a special suit!

It was for a wedding and the seams both opened within about an hour of wearing it so I was stuck with weird holes in my suit all day and night. Couldnt be more disappointed.

Initially I was thinking about saving a few bucks and shopping at Indochino but opted with Suit Supply as the suits are at a glance, much higher quality.Upon entering, I was surprised to be offered a glass of water or coffee and from there, Mack took care of my friend and I. In less than 30 minutes, based on my description of events, Mack was able to find a suit that fit me best in terms of color and style making the overall process seemless. Honestly, its very rare to get to work with someone that is so well versed in their profession that they have pretty much every question covered, and offer useful insight into your particular case every step of the way.Its obvious that Suitsupply invests heavily in their people, as everyone I talked to in the store was on-point with their interactions, from remembering my name the next day when I picked up my suit, to knowing how to talk to people, to getting you to where you needed to be. Theyve been trained, and very well. It shows.I walked in on a Saturday evening, and was informed by Mila that the wait would be about an hour, so went and got lost in the labyrinth that is UTC. About 40 minutes in, I received a text message from Suitsupply informing me that the wait would be about 20 minutes longer. After about 15 minutes, I received another text informing me that it was nearly my turn, and to make my way back to the store. Their communications are efficient, informative, and on-point.When you arrive at the store, they offer you a drink. It can be water, coffee, or even beer. What a way to shop!Andrew was quick in sizing me up, getting the pertinent information regarding the event Ill be in and the materials/colors I was looking for, and grabbing a few samples for me.Once we decided on the jacket/pants, he pinned them up, and sent them to the on-site tailor to have them adjusted (no waiting weeks here!).We then moved on to shirts, ties, shoes and even handkerchiefs. Andrew provided excellent information and suggestions along the way.Payment was straightforward, and clear, with an itemized list presented on a tablet. Their prices are more than fair for a high quality suit.On the way home, I received another text from Suitsupply informing me that my alterations were complete and ready for pickup. We hadnt even made it home yet!When we picked them up the next morning (walk in again), they made time for one last fitment check as we sipped a fresh coffee. We were in/out in less than 15 minutes.The speed, efficiency, professionalism and friendliness of Suitsupply has me wanting to buy more suits. Im sure thats part of their sales model, but its working!I have no doubt that the next time I need a suit, Ill be back.

You can tell when someone loves their job because theres just a certain level of enthusiasm and genuine expertise that makes it feel less as sale and more about just taking care of a customer/client and this was Vlad through the whole process. Even his coworkers were really personable guys offering style opinions/advice and you can just tell everyone there is passionate about menswear/fashion. I was looking for a suit for a wedding I was going to attend, I had a black suit in mind, but with Axl’s help I ended up with this handsome dark grey suit, which I was very pleased about. The whole process was fairly quick to be honest, I walked in and Axl came to greet me, we chatted for a bit to discuss what I was looking for and it couldn’t have been more than 30 minutes to pick a color/type of suit, measurements, and picking certain accessories such as a tie, pocket square, and shoes. The tailoring and shipping took about a week which was great because the wedding I was attending was only 3 days later after I had picked up the suit, so big thank you for getting my suit ready in time. Comment: Avoid this Suitsupply. There were 2 instances that were very frustrating with my husbands suits: one was an alteration and one was ordering his custom suit, both on the same day. We dealt with Austen at this location during our whole appointment.First instance - My husband brought an existing suit to be altered since the previous alteration at a different location didnt do it right. Austen confirmed that the arm and pant measurements were slightly off: either one was too long, or it was too short. Austen mentioned that their in store tailor does alterations quickly and we should receive a pick up notification in about 2 days... well we didnt. We waited 1.5 weeks for the email or text, and when we went in to pick up... no one could find it. We waited ~15 minutes as a few of them were scrambling to figure out where the suit was. It was found but the lady who found it confirmed the name on the suit was wrong. How? Professionally speaking, that should not happen at all. MAJOR RED FLAG. Secondly, upon trying on the suit that was so called altered, my husband and I realized nothing changed. It was exactly the way we left it a week and a half ago. It was so disappointing and the same lady who found my husbands suit ended up retaking the measurements and said itll take a couple weeks and that it would be delivered to us. Delivery and alterations were successful afterwards.Second instance: that same day, my husband ordered a custom suit and after spending $1200+, the product didnt arrive as measured in the store. Everything was off. I dont know if Austen put in the wrong number or the measurements were ignored by the tailor but the jacket didnt look fitting and custom, and he couldnt even pull his pants above his knee; the waist should have been a 38 and was delivered with a 34 waist... no where near what it shouldve been. On top of that, it was delivered to our older address on file! Talk about disaster: a custom suit delivered to the wrong address!!!!! I had to scramble and figure out a way to contact the person who lives in the address stated on the tracking and confirm the suit was not damaged or worse, thrown away. We absolutely shouldnt have dealt with any of that at all.We will not do business, or return at this store!!!!!! As a matter of fact, my husband travelled all the way to Yorkdale (Toronto) Suitsupply to confirm all the measurements were incorrect and fix everything that went wrong at this location.

Comment: I went along with a friend who wanted to buy a suit for his wedding and was checking the store out. I liked two solid polo tshirts and each tshirt was around $70-$90. The Tshirt design and fit is wonderful but pricey overall.Here comes the experience part, I wore the Tshirt once and washed in my washing machine. Out comes a Tshirt thats completely spoiled and unfit to wear again. Now I took both the tshirts to the store and asked them how come the Tshirt damaged just with one wash. The sales guy then informed me, the Tshirt should only be hand washed. I informed him that I wasnt told about this when I bought the tshirts when I specifically asked if there is anything I need to know about the tshirts. The employee took my tshirts, my contact number and informed me he will talk to the store manager/owner and will contact me the immediate day. They never contacted me again. After 3 weeks I went back to the store and enquired about the same. Then a lady who claimed to be the manager/owner simply said we neither substitute nor refund for the tshirts that got damaged because they were machine washed. To which I responded stating, I was never told and then she showed me a very tiny symbol which is like an ironbox with X. She rudely told me that it means handwash. She carelessly and rudely told me there is nothing she could do.Such a pathetic service when you are selling a Polo Tshirt somewhere around 90$ a piece. Infact she dint even care to offer my damaged tshirts back.I am never buying from this store again and will let everyone of my friends and colleagues to never goto this store in UTC rather will ask them to divert their business to the other stores in UTC.Ridiculous and pathetic customer service.

It is ridiculous to have a custom that I paid nearly 1000 dollars for not even fit.I had to reorder the suit and I was really worried if it might not fit again or if there wouldve been a supply chain issue and I wouldnt have gotten it in time. It had already took almost two months to come in and it originally came in 2 months before the wedding. The new order arrived within a few weeks of my wedding and thankfully it fit this time.I am not sure if I would be returning to Suit Supply. What was meant to be a fun experience of creating a custom suit caused me a lot of worry and stress. The mistake of making a custom suit that doesnt fit is almost unforgivable.

Comment: Avoid - cheap material from overseas. Bought a tuxedo shirt for $150+ dollars, wore it once for the wedding and the bottom two buttons ripped at the seam. They dont do exchanges for worn items which is crazy given this was a material defect. Furthermore, I got two different messages from the store employees. One from an associate saying everything was fine and they could exchange no problem the day I was in store (drove from Encinitas). Fast forward to when the store manager was supposed to follow up on shipping information because it was out of stock in store... he starts adamantly saying they do not take exchanges and/or returns. This will be my first and last time shopping at Suitsupply. Id recommend the same if you want your suit to last more than a month. Zara quality with $$$ prices. Normally not picky on the customer service but this was painful.

Cant recommend this place enough.Andrew helped me with my fitting for a tux (for someone elses wedding) and was professional and incredibly thoughtful. He wasnt trying to sell me on what would make SS the most $, but rather get me in the tux that I looked best in. Turns out, I got a ton of compliments at the wedding, and the tux looked amazing (pro-tip: go with the velvet loafers; they were a big hit).Then a couple weeks later, I went back to SS to get fitted for a custom wedding suit. I chose Axl b/c he looked the freshest on the website, and I was not disappointed. This was legit the best customer experience Ive ever had. He made an effort to get to know me, took 1.5 hours to find the exact fabric I wanted (I was quite picky; it is my wedding after all..), then spent another hour helping coach me through all the fine details I didnt even know existed. Would highly recommend choosing Axl if youre going in for a custom fitting.If that wasnt enough to convince you, let me tell you how they rectified MY mistake. I received the wrong tux shirt in the mail (I ordered the wrong one by mistake), and the SS team rectified it immediately. I called with two days notice before the wedding, and they fit me into their schedule last minute to get it altered (they even asked the tailor to stay late), to help make sure my shirt was the perfect fit. Austin was the manager on duty and was responsive, empathetic, and they did it free of charge.To top it all off, another manager (Gabriel) gave me a call to check in after I accidentally left a bad review via email (again, my mistake). Gabriel was super friendly, understanding, and appreciative of the feedback on Austin, Andrew, and Axl.bonus: they have some incredible dressy-casual attire available. There is a white cashmere/wool sweater I want SO bad and would totally get if I wasnt on a wedding budget. i would have gotten it if my fiancee wouldnt have killed me when i got home :)In the end, overall the best experience I have ever had with a mens retailer. If you need to get fitted for a custom suit, buy a suit off the shelf, get a tux, or just are looking for some casual-dressy pants/jackets etc., this is your spot. Dont even bother going to Indo Chino or Nordstrom etc.If you cant tell, I would highly recommend this place. Make this your first and last stop.

Comment: Got a suit in December of 2020, gained a lot of weight lifting and the suit did not fit at all come October 2021. Brought it in and Dominick helped me out a ton. I was able to get it all taken care of in time for me to get married in a brand new one three weeks later that fit like a glove. This place is great and Dominick and the crew there deserve the highest marks for customer service.

Comment: Mo is my guy from Nordstrom, he just start working at Suitsupply, I texted him to shop with him, I have an event and I wanted something casual formal, he told me he start working at Suitsupply and told me to come in, he will find me something their, and I trust him while I was waiting for him to finish with his client, I told him I like these Jackets I was browsing while I was waiting, he let me try them all and brought something from the back for me, I bought what he chose for me because it was the best fit and something different I will not think of myself, Suitsupply customers you are lucky to have Mo to shop with at Suitsupply San Diego now, if you are not a customer go check the store and shop with Mo definitely will go back again.

Comment: Head about this place through Jose Zuñiga YouTube channel teaching men’s fashion. He had nothing but great things for this store so I wanted to check it out. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Alyssa! She was super kind and professional and being my first time gave me a bit of history on the store. I came in to see their suits since I gave most of my previous ones and their suit selection left me in Awe! if you need a suit highly recommend this place! And they have the most comfortable white sneakers and Henleys.

Comment: I walked into Suitsupply frazzled; there are so many things to plan for a wedding and with just over a month to go I am stressing out over everything. Dominick met me right as I walked in, and for the next nearly 2 hours played the simultaneous roles of excellent menswear expert and on-the-fly psychologist for all my various concerns. He answered every question I had, helped me fill in the gaps regarding aspects of the suit I hadnt considered, and sought a second opinion from the tailor just to be sure. I am absolutely stoked to get the suit for my big day and I couldnt be more grateful for Dominicks help in getting set up! I will follow up this review once I get the suit, but I just wanted to immediately throw some props his way.

Comment: Ive always been a Nordstrom guy, but lately Ive been getting a lot of stuff from SuitSupply and Ive been so happy with the clothes itself, as well as the staff—Nicholas, Gabriel, and Alyssa. Everyone is quite knowledgeable about the products, and even though the prices are cheaper than Nordstrom, everyone Ive worked with has provided better customer service than that of Nordstrom and other high-end retailers. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend SuitSupply to anyone who is looking for a great, modern clothier.
