Comment: I went to Seymours for a pair of custom suits for my wedding. I had looked around at different places, but being relatively inexperienced in suits, I found most other salespeople unhelpful, unlikeable, rushed, or pressuring. Ravi (who is the primary tailor at Seymours) is none of these. I decided to get custom suits made here because I liked how patient and helpful he is. Ravi came recommended by another friend who showed up at my wedding wearing the suit that Ravi had made for him, pointing out a detail that I had missed earlier, the custom stitched label with my name on the inside of the jacket, a nice touch! All told, I think I went back to Seymours four times to get the suits sized and tailored and was happy with them. A custom-made shirt was also included, which fit well. The suits at Seymours are not cheap, but are of far better quality than youre going to find at Indochine or Suitsupply or a department store, and cost less than the custom suits that are sent to made overseas from some other places. I think they are a good value for a suit that will last a long time and is worthy of re-tailoring down the road. But fundamentally, the customer service is what really stands out here. Ravi is clear and conscientious, and was a delight to work with. Recommended.

He tailored a 3 piece suit and threw in a free shirt since I received a recommendation to go to him from one of his past clients. He finished the entire thing within 4 weeks as I mentioned I was working with time constraints. Couldnt be more impressed with this service/work ethic. Comment: Ravi was an absolute delight to work with!! We met with almost a dozen tailors in the city and just from the initial consultation we knew that Seymours was the place for us. It was really important that the suits were made in house and not shipped out to a factory somewhere to be made. Ravi and his father have been in this business for a long time and you can tell by Ravis vast knowledge in this industry. Another reason we chose Seymours was due to their wide selection of fabrics we wanted something unique and we got exactly what we were looking for. No matter how busy they were, Ravi always made time for us. He even delivered a shirt to us personally since we werent able to return due to dinner plans. Our suits turned out to be everything we dreamed of and they also can make you custom shirts as well. His prices were roughly the same as most of the other tailors except theirs is made in house. I highly recommend Seymours!!

I did need to go back a second time to get the patches adjusted but I kind of was planning for that because they really depend on where your elbow bends and centers on the arm to look correct. Basically.,I just want to say I get along with him and he is helping me upgrade my wardrobe. Im excited to have him make a few additional peices for me as our relationship grow. Im getting the bespoke suit and its a little nervous Im glad I have someone to walk me through the dos and dont. Im happy to say I use an Ipad mini and this is for my job in leasing. It never fits in any pocket comfortably. He suggested a pocket for my daliy tool. I love it. I explained my movement needs and he took every detail into account. I could write more and more.

Comment: This is a really terrific custom tailor and Ive been a loyal customer for around a decade now. Over the years Seymours has made me about half a dozen shirts, a couple of suit coats, a couple of pairs of dress trousers, and a 3/4 length coat. Every piece theyve made for me is among my favorite garments: the best fitting and the highest quality clothes I own, the ones I bring out when I need to look my best. The folks at Seymours are friendly, thorough, and straightforward about the options they make available to you. Their prices are totally reasonable given the quality you get; theyre certainly not cheap but they are not significantly more expensive than the Italian designer labels youd find at a department store or fancy mall clothing store, and the fabric quality is better, construction quality is better, and of course they help you choose fabric, features, and fit just the way you like them. Anyone in the market for really top-class dress clothes in San Francisco should give them a call.

I found him by messaging a dozen different suit shops and he was the only one who would be willing to see me when I was down there on a Saturday (I love up in Oregon). I had a shark skin fabric effect in mind and he just so happened to have it. He made me a full 4 piece suit and 2 other custom french cufflink shirts. Comment: I ordered a tailored suit from these guys and I love it. The fabric is really high quality, and they have an endless selection of colors and fabrics. They threw in a tailored dress shirt with the suit as well. I went in for multiple measurement sessions so they could make sure they were on the right track, and they were able to rush my order for an event where I was planning on wearing the suit.

Comment: I recently had Seymours Fashions tailor up some shirts for me. Im disappointed in the work they did. When I went in to try on the sample shirt, it looked terrible, with all sorts of unflattering folds in the fabric. They asked me how I wanted to alter it, and having no idea how to alter a shirt I said, I dont know, but what I want is for it to look good like this other tailored shirt Im wearing right now. They took all the measurements from that other tailored shirt, so I figured Id get an exact copy of my first shirt, but the final shirt they delivered was not as good as the one they took the measurements from. Plus, the final shirts they delivered were all wrinkled and not in wearable condition, which adds unnecessarily (in my view) to the expense.
