Comment: This business is downright predatory. You see reviews thats its cashless when in reality, you need their laundry card; which costs you 99 cents. Its a 10 dollar minimum to add money to the 99 cent card. The dryers arent even priced correctly, you need multiple cycles (each priced at 1.20). You need to be committed to this place if you want anything to be worthwhile. There are other places that wont take advantage of you.

Comment: First time Id ever been here. Hadnt been to a laundromat in years, but the machines at our apartments went down and needed to get loads done. Visited later in the evening, but fortunately theyre open till 1:00. Was unfamiliar with their prepay card system for the machines, but the ladies working there were very friendly and patient and stepped me through. The machines all looked very well kept and clean - inside and out. And the place itself looks pretty clean as well. Especially the folding counters. Tonight it was fairly busy, but still pleasant and relaxing. Spoke with one lady who had been a customer for years and had some very nice things to say about the place (When you go to a laudromat, you chat with people. 😁). Also found out they take in laundry as well. Was pretty impressed. Thank You Pearl Laundry.

Comment: New washing machines and dryers! You also get 25% Bonus when using the Laundromat Loyalty Card! That is a big plus! My other laundromat gives you $5 on $40. These guys give you $5 on $20! So $12.50 for $50 and $25 on $100! Dryers will dry a typical load in 24mins ($2.40) and a heavy load in 36mins (+12mins @ $1.20).The washers are set to Quick Wash default of 22mins which is less than ideal but still sufficient!*They also arent open 24/7 as advertised!Last wash is at 11:45pm.

Plus an Arco is right there in the same lot as well to gas up and get whatever. Then if you like thrift store shopping Goodwill is next to it as well

Comment: Only 24 hour laundromat around. Has 2 giant washers that take 14 loads & at least 10 that take up to 8 loads. So many washers & dryers and the place is always clean and everything in service. Dont recommend coming on a Thursday or Friday evening as the place is so packed theres no washers or baskets available. They have a 24 hour car wash as well!UPDATE!!!- no longer 24 hours & last time I used their washers all of my darks became so faded they were nearly grey. Also it’s so packed I had to wait 2 hours for an open washer. Would no longer recommend this place.

We drove for 20 miles to check out this place. The reviews people posted were correct. We did our laundry. The female employee was very helpful and polite. Actually a lot of people in San Diego area are very polite. Thank you all for your hospitality.

That is the reason that there is a three day turn around time on getting your laundry done. All the ladies there are super friendly and they return your laundry to you fresh and clean. Comment: Washers leave huge grease stains on your clothes. The last 3 times I went it ruined 1-2of my shirts. I emailed and asked about cashing in my cards and they kept over $30-$40 of my money. One card had over $130 on it another just under $20. They sent me a check for $86. Total rip off. When I told them no ill just keep the cards and give them away they contacted me only after I emailed them stating I got the check but will be voiding it and checking on my cards. Do not wash your clothes here unless you want to throw out your shirts

Comment: Lately this past month machines have been breaking down. I will put my two loads of clothing and when i come back because my timer went off. The two machines never threw any water 💦 and therefore i had to request another two. Sucks because they are making me waste my soap and detergent. Right now i had the same issue with two machines once again and now am mad about it. Wasted 27 minutes for nothing and more of my detergents. So far machines 11,12,13,14,15,16 and 21 are not working. Seems like they dont tag em asap when they are told and people will eventually put in their clothing. I hope the owner takes action because if not more people will eventually stop coming here.

BUT, twice already this happened 1 or 2 clothes are missing. My work out shorts and my babies belt. A shirt was missing. Comment: 05/27/21: Response to Pearl - Obviously??? When I was there the seating was not. That is why I said it. How exactly does removing seating keep people safe? You cannot keep people away from eachother without dictating how many people are allowed in and assigning equipment. It is physically impossible in the building. Is it safer to sit on the floor??? Now that you are feeling safe with shots all around, are you going to follow CURRENT CDC GUIDELINES and STOP forcing masks? Wearing a mask should be a choice if you are claiming to follow some sort of pandemic protocol. You think sitting on the floor is safe, I have to wonder what GUIDELINES you are following?04/2021: 4/5 stars - Wow! Seating! Girls working very hard all the time!! As always very nice and as helpful as possible. Machines are still hard to read and understand. Laundry card still glitchy. At least there were a few places to sit!! Customers seemed more happy yet not. No clue how to get into the bathroom. The lady told me to use it. After six hours, I needed to go!! Oh well. I hate the dryers at this place! Constantly feeding the thing to get things dry. Really wish I could figure this out better. Perhaps people are just taking wet/damp stuff home? Anyway, improvements made. Well done!12/2000: 2/5 stars - Incredibly nice ladies are very busy working hard. The machine instructions are difficult to read. Need a step stool to add products to the machines. The laundry card is glitchy especially with the dryers. There is no place to sit down. The dryers are terrible. There is a do not enter area where the employees have sole access to specific washers and dryers. The girls are constantly sweeping and working. The area of town is a bit rough. Patrons are less than friendly or helpful. Hounded by the girls to wear my mask. I took it off to drink some water and to use my inhaler! It was so damn hot in there. I took my mask off to literally wring it out in the garbage can. So sweaty and full of water. At that point it is worthless anyway.

Comment: Love this laundry mat. It may be a full 3 miles from my place, but its so totally worth it (especially at night)(its cheaper) 😈. Their machines are awesome, no matter the size you use, theyll get the job done and their staff is usually very quiet & keep to themselves but very friendly when spoken to. Theyre also bilingual which is a plus if course. The main PRO, in my opinion, is that they walk around every 30 minutes- 1 hour to wipe/sanitize the doors of the machines & folding tables. Always have music playing, alternating both english & spanish. I appreciate that, plus its right next door to self car was station which youll normally find me at while Im waiting on laundry lol

Comment: Pearl laundromat is a blessing to the neighborhood. In my experience with them. I have found it to be clean and organized. The workers are very nice and helpful. The prices are compatible to other wash houses. The hour of operation you can’t bet 24 hour 7 days a week. The only thing I wish as a laundry card holder is that we could get a balance on our cards before coming in. But I can live without that.

In one center you have a very up to date laundry facility with amazing staff(if you choose to leave your laundry)new machines, cash card, fair pricing, snacks, drinks, laundry products, clean really well maintained and plenty of parking. Just outside the laundry doors you have 2 gas stations and a wonderful car wash. Pearl Laundry and Pearl Car Wash is how I like to do things. Something constructive to do while your waiting for wash and dry cycles.

Very disappointing as I used to frequent this place weekly.A few months ago they had made it so people weren’t allowed to fold clothes inside and had to wait in their cars or outside and it felt much safer. Now that COVID is at its worse all the rules went out the window... very very frustrating.

Comment: Wow I lucked out today!! Hardly anyone there today and the weather was perfect. I used the 12 loader for the first time and it was fantastic. You dont even need to put in soap or anything. It is all included. Also used a 5 loader and it was also nice and easy. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I did 17 loads of laundry in less than an hour and a half. Love it!!

Comment: There are always people who do not respect and believe that the Covid-19 is a joke. Ask an employee if it was required to use the mask since there were people without them. The employee shyly approaches him and asks them to please wear the mask. They put them on and so quickly they took them off again. Another person came in to pick up her clothes without a mask and they treated her and did not tell her anything about the mask. I think that the employees are afraid of peoples reaction, they should have a security guard to be the one to put order since many customers are not interested in the rules and it is because of these people that more cases of Covid-19 continue to occur and this is not controlled for lack of cooperation.

I paid for my card and add money with quarters and nickels and dimes after my wash I went to add more money for my dryer but was told I need quarters only🤦🏾‍♀️..I was way bummed out because I was allowed by one attendant and not the older woman so I took my half dry clothes to another laundromat (what a waste of time and money) I will not recommend this place to no one and I wont be back ... overall the place was quiet and clean.

Comment: My partner and I like going here because its 24 hours, but the last time we were there, SOMEHOW some woman’s clothes ended up in 3 of our dryers with our clothes. Comment: The machine to at money to your card is very finiky. I had to swipe my card love 20 times each time to get it to register its own laundry card. Other than that, this place is great! Its 24/7 and the dryers are super cheap!! In addition, you can use the money you loaded into your laundry card to get snacks and drinks from the vending machine. They are very inexpensive (75 cents for the soda cans and like a dollar ish for the candies. It varies) it is very refreshing to have a place not charging exhorbent prices for things. Was very clean too! This might be my new laundry spot!

Just recently had a negative experience with the dryer not drying, told the manager, he ‘checked’ my card to see if I was lying about me putting in 5 credits, then came back said let me charge your card and give you a dollar in cash back... I wasn’t going sit and argue over my already used credits and then having to wait an extra 30 minutes to wait on the load. Pretty bad customer service from the manager, but all the other workers are extremely polite, and these stars go to them. I spent the rest of my card credits on snacks, so yeah I won’t be back. I have like .13 cents on my ward if anyone wants it!

Late night visit cost me like $3.20 to wash and dry a good size load of laundry. This place seemed to be attended 24/7 by nice hardworking employees. The floor was recently mopped and tables spotless. The Machines look modern, well maintained, and I saw an employee actually cleaning the soap trays and other parts of machines while I was here, unheard of... I travel up and down the west coast often and do laundry in random laundromats all over. This place did not seem sketchy at all despite the part of town it’s in and the late hour I arrived. I have seen some super sketchy laundromats... I remember a particularly bad one in Sacramento... I vote best overall no.1 laundromat on the west coast. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Comment: I f****** love this place this place is the best place I have been to everybodys friendly nice TV shows the washers are brand new you be washing and no time its like the in and out if you know what... Jelly Bean I really recommend you guys to go there this place is never packed maybe yeah it been getting kind of busy lately...

Staff is friendly and helpful.2 loads machines: 1.735 loads machines: 3.198 loads machines: 6.13Small dryers: 0.10/10 min.Big dryers: 0.35/10 min.Machines work with reloadable card. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted. $10 minimum to load with cc or debit cards. ATM inside location but has never been turned on. Gas stations with ATM is a short walk away.Wash, dry, and fold service available. Starts @ 0.75/lbs.Customers are friendly and respectful.Machines are reliable. Ive never had a problem in over 10 visits.Last wash is @ 9:30 pmI recommend visiting this location.
