When I tried to use it next time, they said it would take a couple months to show up. Months later they said it was a few dollars shy of $500 because they excluded several parts of the purchase. Fine, but they shouldnt have said I would receive it when I made the purchase.

Comment: From the moment I walked in to this store, I was greeted with warmth and respect. I tried finding a nice overcoat on my own, but the attentive floor clerk wasted no time in helping me find the perfect fitting coat. I was delighted at her experience and outstanding customer service qualities. I purchased the coat, and their in-house tayler measured out the sleves and made the adjustments. Overall, I had an outstanding experience here, and I plan to return soon.

Comment: This is perhaps the most gushing review I’ve ever written on the net.In 24 years of living in San Francisco, Macy (who will quickly tell you that it is no coincidence that that is her English name) gave me by far the best customer service I have had.Perhaps the best customer service I’ve had on the planet.She was patient, quick to tell me what my options were, expert about mens clothing, attentive, and completely professional.Day after day, we go through the world amongst employees who clearly do not care at all about our experience: it was so nice to have the opposite wonderful experience with Macy.Whatever management is paying her, it is not enough.

Comment: Mixed feelings.My partner and I were happy to find jackets we liked, thanks to the help of one of the employees.However, our experience took a downturn when I asked about certain pants and colour.One of the staff members response was off-putting and plainly rude, and things only worsened as he followed us around the store without explanation.While I understand that SF theft situation is out of control, this behavior was unjustified and uncomfortable.We were close to leaving, if it wasnt for us really liking the jackets weve found.Its unfortunate that the excellence from one staff member was overshadowed by the negative attitude of another.We left right after paying for those jackets and went shopping somewhere else.

Comment: I bought my first suit here today. It was the go to shop to go to for first time buyers of a mens suit. I was a bit anxious as I did it not know what to expect. Yet, as I walked in the shop I was greeted with a big hello and a smile that I don’t experience often but it was nice to hear. The saleswoman asked me what I was looking for and I explained my situation and she took me thru the process of being fitted and the colors I like in a mens suit. I immediately found my suit and she got busy with finding my size and so forth. So gentlemen if your looking for a suit as I was then this Mens Wearhouse is the place for you. The staff are friendly and helpful and answered all my questions with a smile.

One asked When did you buy it? And did you even buy it from here?. I get that I didnt look presentable but I needed these suits pressed. All suits bought from a Mens Warehouse come with free steam pressing so it was odd to hear that. The moment the other retailer saw it was Paisely and Grey and Pronto-Uomo he took them and asked for my name to get them done asap. I feel disappointed that this store really looks at one superficially.

We had all of our groomsmen fly into town for the fitting, we get to the store and they say they are too busy to take our APPOINTMENT so maybe some of them could come back another day. No one specific helped us. The appointment moved SLOW. And they wanted us to order a suit we couldt even see in person because they didnt have in store to try on. Customer service is NONEXISTENT. We walked a couple of blocks to Indochino to get the service we were looking for.

Rather than simply walking in to the store, we set up an appointment at 4 PM on a Saturday, something I would recommend arranging.The nice thing about the national presence of The Mens Wearhouse -- and the reason we chose it for our tuxedo rental -- is that you can get measured in nearly any part of the U.S. and then can pick up and drop off your tux across the country, where your event is taking place. That avoids having to schlep your formal wear back and forth in your baggage.

Regular customers get special discounts that they can choose to apply to higher quality clothing lines. Comment: How would you feel if you had gone to a place to buy a suit, after ten minutes inside the place nobody try to help, nobody provide information. That was my experience in that store. A sales rep saw me, walked by many times and I had to go to the manager and ask if they had someone to help. I was really surprised when she introduced me to the guy who was all the time on his cellphone and just observing people going in and out of the store.Poor dedication with customers. I felt that they judge people by what they are wearing before they offer help. If you are not well dressed they just ignore you.I did not buy anything....I went to Jos A. Bank and bought some suits and shoes and had great experience.

Comment: Terrible customer service. Period, came over 3 times for 1 purchase, first time to order, altered too short so i had to come back again. Everytime, the employees who work here didn’t even acknowledge me, after standing around for a good while, one sent me to the back, and one more saw me, looked at me and started walking away. Is it because i look like I can’t afford a suit? WHERE’s THE CUSTOMER SERVICE? Too much hassle to get a suit that’s not even all that, had to alter twice because they did it too small the first time.

Comment: Customer service needs improvement. Theyll take care of you right up until you swipe your card. After that, good luck getting anything else done - especially for a custom made suit.I paid for a custom suit made from scratch. Picked the colors, style, and everything. I wanted to make a single change to the suit, and they strung me along for weeks/months saying that the revised patch still did not arrive. A couple of months to send in a replacement patch with a different name sewn on? Come on..Thanks for the nice looking suit, but I doubt Ill be coming back for additional business.

Comment: The worse Mens wearhouse experience of my life. I dont know how they are still in business. I walked in today for a suit alteration and they said they had one tailor so will not get the alteration to me until tomorrow at 12. I said I will think about it and as I was shopping for a shoe in their store; I decided to get the alteration done and 12 tomorrow is fine. Within a matter of 30 mins, the sales guy states oh we cannot do it anymore at 12 tomorrow because we decided its too much work and we cant. Rude and very unprofessional. I just left the store to a different one where I got the alteration done and bought a new shoe, all at a low cost.I guess they have enough money and dont need anymore.

Comment: Walked in to Mens Whearhouse needing a couple suits for upcoming interviews. Roger the store manager was extremely helpful. He quickly got me sized up and trying on suits. I was in and out of there in less than 35 minutes. Would highly recommend if you need to get some suits in a pinch.

Comment: Rudest Mens Wearhouse I have been to, guy starts helping us and then disappears and we were there picking up items for a wedding and he could not find anything - we had pictures, sizing and everything we needed. When the Groom finally arrived - the guy helping us amazingly found what we needed, it felt like just because we were MOG and SILOG, that we should not be in the store. I love our Aurora, CO Mens Wearhouse (where I first took the groom for a suit). Even when they are busy, they are polite and respectful and I get full attention.

Comment: Skewed Marketing Schemes. 1 shirt for $99 or 3 for $100. We know the real value of those shirts is indeed $33 each and there is no real promotion but a gimmick to force the consumer to buy 3 shirts at once. Aside from that they do have a good selection and good customer service. I recommend if you want to buy more than one shirt or one single tie.

I stood around until it was my turn before they asked me what I needed. This wasnt a very welcoming experience.Once I was helped the staff was very helpful. Comment: Not a good palace for tux rental! The ladies that took care of me were very nice though! However, Ive ended up paying too much for a rental, including rush fee (20 dolars)! My rental was ready on the day of the event, and when i tried it, i realized the planties were way too short! Since there was no time to fix it, i agreed on getting it that way! When returning the rental, the lovely girl wasnt there, And the guy at the counter charged me another 20 Bucks for delayed return! ..... Its just not worth the money! Just cross the street, get into Macys and purchase a full tuxedo, you will look better, expend the same amount of money, but get to keep the tux for the next Party!

Comment: I had to get fitted for a tux and this was the closest place to my house to get it done. The people here were very accommodation even on a very busy Saturday. They got me in and out of there with in 10 minutes. Usually I would like to take longer for a tux fitting but when I did the final fitting on the East Coast (the wedding was out of town) everything fit perfectly and they had no problems getting my tux to DC. Good place if you need some business type attire.

Liked them, was told to return in a few days to picked them up after alterations and they were ready.Great folks, great service.
