Comment: Pretty bad service. I asked for my measurements because I’m ready to buy a shirt. After taking my measurements, the rep just went back to the counter and stood there. We were there for 30 min and no one asked if we had been helped. The Joseph Aboud shirt I was looking at was $65 compared to other retailers that had it cheaper, they lost a sale due to poor customer service. Stay away from this place until they retrain their employees to be helpful.

Comment: Just had to share. I was in Mens Wearhouse Beverly Connection on 11/13/22 around 4pm for 20 minutes. There were three associates in the store. I was the only patron in the store. I was ready to BUY, not rent, a full black tie/tux ensemble with jacket, pants, cufflinks, shirt, shoes, vest and bow tie, not one associate ask me if I needed help. Now I know why this location has horrible reviews. Get it together Mens Wearhouse. Thats probably why there is no one in your store at Beverly Connection.

The pants are off by half a foot and clearly not the slim fit that I MADE SURE to ask for and sales rep CONFIRMED. Comment: Title: Beginning to end experience of creating a custom suit on a 2-week turnaround timeI was in need of a quality suit that could be used for interviews and meetings but would also be acceptable to my fiancé for our wedding day. We had gotten side tracked with other details so I had let the decision of renting or buying fall late in the game, it was the end of September and my wedding day was quickly approaching on 10/22. I went back in forth about getting the bespoke experience, but was looking to keep the expense of the suit to a fairly reasonable range; so I was considering renting and then exploring the bespoke option at a later date. I ended up going with Men’s Wearhouse and couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome, I worked with Gabriel as far as creating the suit picking fabrics that would be light weight since I tend to run on the warm side during any engagement. I settled on a sharkskin blue because of the versatility in use, from job interview to wedding day, to even a nice evening out at a show. Do your homework before you go in (if you have a preference between half canvas and full canvas suit ask about those option) so you can assist the associate in displaying options that best meet your needs and represent the style you want to convey and feel comfortable wearing. Gabriel did just that an although I had done my research, it was nice to have additional input when making decisions on lapel, cuffs, pocket, felt, and venting options and even received assistance from the store manager Raphael Edwards as well; all of which when I received the finished product makes the suit standout from an off the rack suit (fused) and even made to measure template suit. As I still have a Pronto Uomo Platinum sharkskin suit coat purchased in 2014 that is in fairly good condition. As far as measurements if I’m recollecting properly Gabriel took the majority of the standard measurements and the remainder were completed when I arrived for my first fitting 10/13.The first fitting I was greeted by Gabriel to see the suit in progress and tailor Don Julio, who was masterful in quickly pinning the suit in a fashion that was flattering providing input on the recommended tailoring choices, which resulted in a suit that definitely fits but leaves some room for comfort and movement. Throughout the fitting process my input on the fit selection pinned was obtained as well as the affirmation on the final cut decision. After some chalk work, I was quickly off with an estimated delivery date for the final product of Saturday 10/15. I received a call a day early and was able to come in on Friday 10/14 for the final fitting.The final fitting, I was again greeted by Gabriel who displayed the close to finished product which was a really nice suit, we did some additional touch ups to the shoulders as they seemed to be displaying ripples that I wanted to be smoother in shape. In addition, I forgot to get the vest added at time the suit was ordered so ordered a Joseph Abboud in grey to contrast against the sharkskin blue; and it kept popping up at the top off of my chest when I had on the suit jacket. Don Julio after some observation spotted that it appeared the vest had been stretched, Gabriel grabbed the same vest from the floor and when I slipped that on with the suit jacket it was a much better suit without separation from my chest at the top when wearing the suit jacket. Ultimately, I left out of there with some additional tailoring to some sports coats because Don Julio’s cut and eye were synchronized with the way I envisioned the clothes when wearing them. I definitely plan to come back, however; I do want to take it to the next level and check out the full small mom and pop bespoke experience to better understand the differences in process and finished product.Thank you!!! I run a high end retail store, and I am require to dress professional. I’ve shopped at almost every suit outlet in Los Angeles area for the last 20 years. From the buy three suits and get everyone else for free, to the higher end big box stores that carry the designer brands, and purchased custom suits from other locations that honestly I way overpaid and definitely didn’t get a good experience. I was recommended to the store manager Rafael at the Beverly Connection store. As soon as I met him, I knew I was talking to the right man. For the first time in my life I met someone who truly knows how to provide an amazing customer experience. For those of us who appreciate quality in the product but most importantly appreciate working with someone who cares, would know what I am saying. For the first time, I am learning about cuts, materials, fabrics, liners, pockets etc. Rafael’s leadership reflects Seeing how hard his staffs works. He’s assistant manager Freddy is amazing as well. Honestly everyone there truly deserve 5 Stars. What puts the cherry on top at this store is there tailor Julio. The man knows his job. He is the master of masters in tailoring. I’ve taken pants that other stores have screwed up, and after Julio is done with his magic I look like a million bucks. Again, I appreciate hard work, but most importantly I appreciate the experience the most. I love this store, I recommend Rafael and his team to everyone. Hope this review gives you clarity, heart felt review from a real customers who has found the best kept secret in suits. Go check them out, just like their old slogan use to say. Ive gone to different branches across the US and have never received customer service in a store like you do in this branch.I even wait until Im in LA just to visit them because I know theyll be helpful in getting me what I need.Theyre always well staffed, so theres someone there to help you even when theyre busy. And the staff is very professional and well knowledgeable about the brand, and most up to date styles.I bought a few suites and decided to get them tailored there, and was helped with everything. Then they showed me around the store and I found another two great suites at amazing prices.I was there to buy everyday suites for business, there was another person purchasing a suite for a friends wedding and a third getting a suite for special weekend events. We each had someone personally helping us, and it showed that they have something for everyone there.One of the only stores that I would give five stars, because of the cleanliness, educated staff, and great customer service.

Comment: To be 100% clear the only reason it gets a 4 stars is because of Jorge. He provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help us with out needs. We were short on time due to our event being so soon but he worked with what he had in stock to help meet our needs. He was patient and provided advice on to how to color coordinate the outfit.Why not a 5 stars if Jorge was so great? Jorge himself definatly deserves the 5. However the young thin tall girl was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was actually the first one we had any exchange of words with and she literally looked at us head to toe and asked my husband are you renting or purchasing because renting starts at $xx and purchase starts at $xx... that comment combined with the head to toe Stardown made us feel like she was judging this book by its cover. My advice to her: you dont know whats in the pocket to spend so dont assume based on what we are wearing when we walk in. On top of this, she made it a point to vocalize loud and clear around us that she wanted leave at 8pm exactly as she walked around annoyed picking up the items people had tried on. The store closed at 8 and there was still about 30 minutes left we were literally finishing up.My recommendation to the shopper: ask for Jorge.

Comment: The worst thing about this place is that because there are not many staff members to help you, you have to wait. Waiting means you have to pay extra for parking since they do not validate. They only suggest the most expensive of brands which I realized because I did a quick search on their website before going into the store. So instead of buying a $90 vest, they said the cheapest vest MW carries is $179. We told the guy that we will continue to look around for other things besides a vest, but he may have gotten a cube that we arent going to buy anything. He quickly went over to his female co-worker and the men she was working with and just some with them never once checking in with my fiance and I. We had questions on shirts and ties and maybe a jacket but those were never answered because he was too busy talking to them and laughing it up with them. :(. I am very upset we already had our groomsmen go get fitted at MW. I wish we went with another company. :(

She knew her stuff, and she spent a significant amount of time with me, running me through all sorts of styles and colors. After we chose them and the tailor suggested adjustments, I was given some matching shirt/tie suggestions. This was exactly what I needed on such a short deadline.The only bummer part was when I went back to make a slight tailoring modification (it wasnt done right the first time), they also didnt get it right the second time either, so it took three extra trips to the location.

When I insisted, he did not show it to me, instead he simply applied the discount as it is a favor from him, and kept the item in the bags. He was acting a little bit strangely, as he is doing something wrong. He tried to cheat me, and I would never respect a brand that has such salespeople.

Comment: Overpaid for 2 suit, Should have gone to Nordstrom instead. Had to make multiple trips to have the suit fitted right. Salesperson acted like if this was my first suit and convince me that the suit came out great, when it wasnt. Took the suit to another tailor and was amazed by the low quality of work that they did. No wonder this facility has so many complaints on Yelp as well.

Comment: Went here with my friend to get my work uniform tailored... I can tell you Im never coming back... 1st, the guys on the floor treated us like an inconvenience to them... and then the seamstress was even worse... I tried on my uniform pieces one at a time with her saying theres nothing to fix when my blazer sleeves obviously go waaaay too long to show my hands... seems like they dont want work brought in to them... besides my experience during the fitting,,, they also werent able to finish the job in time for the scheduled pick up which they gave me.really bad service from the entire team right when we stepped in the store... customers shouldnt be treated as an inconvenience to the staff.

Comment: The first time I went, I had to ask for help. I wouldve been ignored otherwise. It felt as though I was a burden on the guy when I asked to see different suits or just asking questions. I was with a friend and we were both getting fitted to rent suits.When coming back to pick up the suits, we found they didnt fit correctly. My pants were too long and my Friends pants were to short. The suit on my friend looked okay but I looked like I was wearing my big brothers suit to prom. I didnt like it. Instead of offering anything to help, the employee just stated that its a rental, its not going to look any better than that! So I didnt take it. Wasnt happy how it fit and disappointed about how the situation was handled so I got a refund (or so I thought) turns out, the guy the first time we went to get fitted, charged the wrong cards so my friend got the refund. Needless to say, never coming back to this store or probably any mens warehouse for that matter.

Comment: The tailor there seemed very convenient, and although I initially thought it was worth paying more for the ease, I ended up having to take my brand new suit to another tailor to fix the mistakes made by this tailor. Pant legs hemmed and inch and a half too short!!! What an idiot!

Comment: I was there on 9-28-13 around 6:30pm. I was shopping for bow tie and ask for champagne color bow ties. He said they dont have it, so we look around for ourselves and found one. Bow ties we got was the ones we have tie it ourselves. I asked one salesperson how to tie it, he said I DONT KNOW LOOK IT UP AT YOUTUBE and walk away. Cashier had same reaction like why you are asking me kind of face. All the salesperson act like they did not work there and their facial expressions were dont bother me. And I heard almost yell to a customer dont look at there, look this side. Our family had a horrible experience. Maybe they only care for people buying suit. Or because we were asians I have no idea.
