Comment: I needed a water softening system and reached out to McCowin on their website due to reviews and locality. Within an hour I received a call to schedule an assessment. McCowin has a great notification system where youre texted a picture of the person who is coming and their ETA. Brian McCowin came and provided really useful info on the various systems. I chose the same system he installed for himself.Within a week I had a new system! The installation was done really well; pipe work looked clean and better than what I had before. Bryan, who is usually the service manager, did the installation, and his expertise really showed. He was super nice as well. McCowin even followed up to ask me about leaks bc we also installed an under-the-sink RO system, which was part of the package. My warranty was registered with the manufacturer (25yrs), and I got the email for it.And the water. It was immediately softer. My family noticed the difference. Would totally do this again with McCowin.

We selected McCowin based on the reviews and the mention of specific individuals. We met with the owner Brian, who informed us of our options and provided all the time needed to make the right decision. We actually made the decision on the spot when he was at our home. Less than a week later, the installation showed up, another Brian and Joel. They were fantastic, timely and professional, with a very clean installation. So far it has been an excellent experience.

Brian McCowin came out to our house and essentially gave us a presentation on the available products and benefits of each. We had A LOT of questions and Brian made himself available to answer all of them. We chose our product and were able to get installation completed within a week. Our drinking water is better (for us and our two dogs), there are no more hard water stains on our dishes, sink fixtures, shower doors, etc. and showers feel amazing. McCowin is five-star all the way... we were so impressed by the quality of communication, the time spent to help educate us about the choices, the ease of installation, 100% of promises kept,. Two thumbs up to Kenny (initial contact), Joel (technician) and owner (Brian).Most of all, were blown away by the HUGE difference in our water quality. We had been testing at 300+ particulates per million -- now were at 8 !! Thanks to McCowin, Ive been able to toss all my Brita and Kuerig and old Pentair under-sink filters, and have all the benefits of soft water (using less soap, no build-up in pipes and in appliances, no more etching, etc). Comment: If youre looking to add a water softener and/or RO system to your house, you need to tell all the other contractors, I found someone else thank you for you time., because McCowin is who you want to go with. Because youll see when you have those other guys come by and check out your system and give you a quote, McCowin is heads and shoulders above. The rep they sent out for me, Kenny, was on time, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Cant say the same for those other guys. McCowin will test your water, explain and answer all your questions. And only after then will they recommend a solution, with multiple budget levels. One of the other guys came over and immediately shoved a flyer in my face for the most expensive model and said you need this, all before asking me a question on what I wanted or examining the project at hand. Fast forward a week to the install day, the tech team they sent over, Bryan and Joel, were superb. Friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and clean. My project was definitely more involved then your normal install, running drain pipe throughout my garage, drilling through the countertop, a line to the fridge, but these guys did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves, and all within the estimated time.To McCowin, thank you for taking care of me. You obviously set a high standard of quality for your service and staff, it shows. Make sure you keep Kenny, Bryan, and Joel on your team, they are killing it for you.

Comment: My son and I moved into the condos and wanted to have clean water asap. One of the owners came over on Saturday to have the initial check out on both condos. In the next two days, two water filter were installed. A few days later, their associate followed up with me to see if we have any issue or concerns. My unit is ok but the filter water only came out a little and stopped in my sons unit. They immediately arranged a technician to check out. The technician said the pressure in the water tank is low and he increased it and asked me to let them know if there is still problems and they will come and check it again.The owner, admin lady Mindy and technicians are all very friendly and explained to me very patiently.Their communication system with clients is very effective. On the appointment date, they will text me who with a picture is coming and when is estimated arrival time. I feel they take care of their clients as their good friends or family members. I am very happy to work with them.

Comment: We could tell we had really bad hard water in our new home and talked to a few different companies to test our water. Scot confirmed what we expected, hard water levels were off the charts but we also had high chlorine levels. We ended up choosing McCowin because we liked that they arent tied to any specific product, they are a vendor for multiple companies, so they can offer you a solution that fits your needs. Scot was the only one that could explain and offer a tradeoff of spending more now for a system that lasts longer versus spending less now but the system wont last as long. All the other reps could only sell us their own water softener and lock us into their system with often overpriced subscriptions. Its even more restricted if you go through a third party like Costco, they can only offer you specific models that usually cost more. Bonus is that we get to support a local independently owned business.We went with a top of the line Hague + RO system under the sink. Purchasing and installation was all quick and seamless. They walked us through the system and showed us the maintenance which has been a breeze. I liked that they were able to install the faucet for the RO water without drilling another hole in my counter, something no one else offered. They also fixed our low water pressure issue by adjusting our pressure regulator that takes water in from the city. Our family has been drinking safe high quality water and we get all the other quality of life improvements that come with soft water. If youve always lived in hard water areas of SoCal youll be shocked to learn about and experience soft water!Its been over 1 year and we just had our first filter change. I can confidently say McCowin is a fantastic company and we could not be happier! Service has been excellent and everyone has been very knowledgeable. Followup service has been excellent as well. They helped us adjust the strength of the water softener and most recently are in the process of increasing the pressure from the RO filter to our fridge. Overall we are very happy we went with McCowin and recommend them to family and friends!

From owner to staff to technician, they are all very courteous.We used to live in Florida and needed to add salt to our whole house softener system every two weeks or so for just two adults. With McCowin’s hybrid filter system, 4-6 people in about 4600 sq house, we only need to add salt every six month. Very efficient. Plus the machine look much nicer and doesn’t take up too much space in the garage.We recommended them to our in-laws who moved to California from out of state as well. They love it too. Not only did he want to know what the issue was, he was patient and kind in directing me to the front office to schedule an appointment and resolve our water system problem. The front desk was prompt and also vert kind when scheduling. Shortly after my call, a technician sent a text to confirm our appointment for the following day which outlined the 1-hr arrival time window (very convenient and respectful of our time). He called a couple hours prior to our appointment to ask if he could come early because he was ahead of schedule (sounds like this organization provides proper training). The tech, when he got here was clean, pleasant and diagnosed our issue very quickly (User error. We opted to install our own filters. Just sign up for their annual filter change and service. Trust me). Work was completed quickly but properly as the tech went through all the work that was done. I really wish more companies provided both quality products and services.

He wasnt pushy at all.After doing the research I came to the conclusion that I wanted a low maintenance system and McCowin offered that with the Hauge Watermax, which had a 25 year warranty! Comment: We had the pleasure of being introduced to McCowin Water by a plumber who fixed our shower faucet. He noticed we had hard water and asked why we were having issues. We have been using Rayne Water for 15 years and this whole time we thought we had a Water Softener and instead he told us it was a water conditioner and that really upset us. We have been paying $110 per month for water softener and Reverse Osmosis.I reached out to McCowin and spoke first with the owner and then he connected me with their sales rep Scott. I learned so much about water softeners and water conditioners I feel like an expert. Both of them were great to work with and they are true professionals.Scott did a water read and looked at my softener and told me what was wrong and gave me options. We ended up going with theHague Watermax system since it is their top of the line and has a great warranty. Comment: The water is fantastic now that we have a whole house filtration system. We know we have hard water too, but 8t does not bother us enough to pay the extra coin for a full softner system. I juist wanted filtered water that woukd eliminate any toxins leftover or picked up from my GSW Co water, and no chlorine!. I did not realize how much our old water smelled until it was filtered thru our new Hague. Seems better than bottled to me. So happy we got McCowin out to do the work. Great follow up from Scot who, aside from being a genuinely nice guy, was also so patient with me, knowledgeable, and explained all the various systems that could make our lives better/healthier. Comment: Honesty and doing the best for the client is hard to find these days!I met Brian late one evening at my home in Trabuco Canyon. I was so appreciative of his immediate attention to my problem and his flexibility to accommodate my schedule. We currently have a soft water filter and the company I purchased it from came out and hit us with a large estimate to fix it. I was put off by the poor attitude of the tech and the explanation so I did some research on companies that provided this service. I was referred to McCowin Water and had a very nice conversation with the office person. Shortly after I got a call from Brian. I could immediately see he cared about my situation. I have a son who has very severe skin problems and new baby. Brian came out looked at my situation and gave me some options of repairs and or replacement. He also checked my regulator which is what the other tech said caused the problem and turns out it was good still. After discussing solutions with him and having a discussion with my wife we were eventually able to get a quick fix from the original manufacture. But this would have never happened if I did not get a honest opinion and a assessment from McCowin Water. He did a great job - he obviously knows his stuff - and we now have him over yearly to do routine maintenance (but he did show us how to do it ourselves, if we wanted to go that route). He knew what our reverse osmosis system needed and repaired it with ease. We now have great tasting water. We also had a tankless water heater and a new water softener system placed and Brain recommended another provider for that service. He came and monitored that installation and made sure that all was in working order before he left. He is always friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend McCowin without hesitation.
