Equally as impressive, the entire staff is friendly, positive, and professional. The team always contacts if there is a question regarding any item, and when the order is ready for pickup. When I am in a rush, they are sure to expedite when possible. I am outside the delivery zone, but it is worth the 15 minute drive for Magic Cleaners 5-star service!

My husband works in a restaurant in Beverly Hills and he opened a bottle of wine for a client and didn’t realize it was a red spritzer and it splashed all over him and some patrons of the restaurant, messing up his new sport jacket and white pants. Magic Cleaners went out of their way to spot check everything and clean all the wine stains off! Mike himself called me personally to let me know he needed an extra day to remove all the spots! I honestly couldn’t be more happier and pleased with the exceptional and outstanding service I received. My first time being there & I will be a repeat customer for sure. However, I recently went to drop off some blankets for cleaning and was refused service because my blankets had some pet hair. It wasn’t even very much and wasn’t obvious. The lady there went over every inch of the blanket like she was inspecting it and then said “oh there’s pet hair, we don’t clean this.” What’s the point of being a dry cleaner then? I would gladly pay an extra fee if they think it’s too much pet hair to deal with. But I suppose business is going so well they can turn down customers. I happily took my blankets to the cleaners by Huntington Hospital and they provided top notch service. You’ve lost a customer of many years.

There isnt much to say about dry cleaning since its pretty straight forward, but they were fast to greet you and help you out. And to my surprise, pleasantly, they let me know that they applied a 10% off for first time customer. Then picking up was fast and pleasant with another discount available for my next visit. Overall I am happy with the overall experience and will be going there for any dry cleaning from now on.

An hour later when I returned to retrieve my cleaning, he was at lunch. Comment: OVERPRICED!!!I went here hoping to get a simple cotton plaid dress from Target shortened slightly. The dress was brand new and still had the $35 price tag on it. Immediately the guy who greeted me said “it’s gonna cost more than the dress to get this altered”. I replied “It should be about the same price as the dress or less, no”? He then proceeded to go to the back for 2 minutes, I’m assuming to ask the seamstress and came back out and quoted me a price of $65. Totally ridiculous for a very simple alteration. I ended up taking the dress to my old cleaners in Sierra Madre and they did a great job for $30. Sad that our local Pasadena cleaners is scamming on prices. Just because you have high demand doesn’t mean you should blow out your prices. I get alterations done regularly. Unfortunately, I will never go here and I recommend you check other options first. They have made extra effort with garments with difficult stains, providing advice about treatment options and costs at drop off. Every order has been ready when promised, prepared correctly and packaged appropriately. They give you credit for returning hangers and provide laundry bags for after- or before-hours drop off. Some on street parking plus parking behind building in their own small parking lot. Delivery and pickup available.

Comment: I started going to Magic Cleaners for two reasons. Reason 1, my significant other did not care for the work of the previous place I was taking items too. He also felt it was over priced. (In all fairness, I think he as at a disconnect with dry cleaning prices in general let alone in the pasadena area). Magic Cleaners is next to my place of business and I pass by it every day on the way to and from work. Convenience and quality of service are of great importance to me. And though I do not find their pricing to be anything but fair, I have no problem paying extra for good quality of work (primary cocenrn) and convenience (I believe time is valuable). With that said, Magic Cleaners does a great job, is more than fair, and gets my items back to me in a timely fashion. They are also excellent regarding communication. I have had an item that required special attention and they needed an extra day with it. They called, made sure it was okay, etc., and it was perfect. And it doesnt hurt that the individuals working there remember me which makes me feel special though I am sure they do this with many of their clients (and as any good business should), the staff is also kind, respectful, and professional.

I told the lady who helped me that they were bridal pieces and it was for my wedding, so to please be extra careful (it was my first time there). When I went to pick up my skirt was hanging by safety pins. Safety pins!!! I can’t believe they hung up my bridal skirt by safety pins! And then, the lady laughed at me for being concerned. She obviously didn’t care I was shocked and a little frustrated that it was part of my WEDDING DRESS! She steamed out the holes in my skirt, but I didn’t realize until I got home they did the same thing to my shorts!! (I was mainly focused on my skirt). Now I have holes in my bridal shorts on the front and back. I would NEVER recommend this place for anything important. They obviously don’t care what’s it’s for. Do NOT waste your $$ (cost me $35 just to press both items and my skirt still has some creases on top of everything else!) Go to a smaller ma & pa shop, it’s what I should’ve done.

Comment: By the way, I’m not the type of person that goes out of my way to write a review. But when I got a text message from the company that asked for my feedback, I couldn’t resist. I’ve been a customer at Magic for a year already, but only for dry cleaning. They do a good job, are quick to return the clothes and are affordable... all good signs for when we needed a dress altered... or so I thought. I didn’t think twice about it. When it came time to pickup the finished dress, it was stinging to me to hear the clerk, give me my total... $125 😠. Even more frustrating, when I asked for an explanation of how hemming a dress could lead to the exorbitant price stay charged, the explanation left me scratching my head even more... to be expected. There really is no way you can reach justifiable conclusion. For something so far from an expected price, I think Magic could have done a little more beforehand to give us some indication of the work necessary and the cost labor associated with it. After this experience, I certainly have no plans to return for any alterations whatsoever, afraid for what simple tailoring might do to my wallet when it comes time to pick up... and now I’m wondering if I should even return for my regular dry cleaning services.

The staff is friendly and the management is superb. Comment: I’ve had shoes re-soled and repaired here, dresses tailored, leather pants patched and of course things dry cleaned...always the best results. For trickier tasks (usually involving leather or seam-work) they’ll warn you that it might damage the item, but I’ve always trusted them and they’ve always done a stellar job. No complaints at all-I wish them continued success.

Comment: My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with the caring staff at Magic Cleaning and the owners who all offered polite, caring, and professional help. Especially after just moving here from AZ and having horrible experiences with a previous dry cleaning company. Magic Cleaners fixed some horrible mistakes and relieved our minds that we can trust them with our clothing ... clothing we cant afford to loose from our wardrobe. We would recommend them to everyone! Trust is huge in this arena! Thank you!

Comment: Good cleaning service and most cashiers very helpful.Yesterday I picked up a $54 order. Was disappointed thatI was not told that on my App there was a possibility ofaccessing a once a month discount. Found out later thatthe discount would have been of 25%.

Comment: I travel on business a lot and usually for several months at a time (going home weekends)... There are two things I establish when I get to a new city (1) Where are the best restaurants and (2) what is a good, reliable, reasonably priced Dry Cleaners and if they offer wash and fold it is a bonus... Magic Cleaners fits the total needs, and, all the folks there (Special Call-Out To CoCo & Mike) call you by name and are super helpful, courteous and just plain good folks. Use these folks!!! They are the best!!

Comment: I have to say that the service in here impressed me. I brought my jacket there that had paint stains and I did not think it was possible that they could get it out. The guy was very nice they gave me a coupon and a little baggie. Besides being friendly they worked hard on my jacket and gave it extra attention and did not charge me extra. I appreciate that!! that is how a good business should be run. Bravo to them. I will recommend to everybody thank you

Comment: This place is truly the best and puts other cleaners anywhere to shame. The people are nice and hardworking. Prices are good. I got my tuxedo and suits back with complementary handkerchiefs (the cheesy kind but it still counts). My french cuff shirts had nice clips on the cuffs. Lastly, same day service is awesome.
