Comment: The prices are good and the dryer is free when you pay for a wash. The 6 load washer is $9.25, 4 load washer is $7, the 3 load washer is $5.75, the 2 load washer is $4.75, and the 1 load washer is $4. All machines take credit card, except for the 1 load washer. They have machines that will break large bills and give quarters to pay for the laundry machines. They have dryers that you can pay for if all the free machines are being used. On a busy day, the most I had to wait for a dryer was 5 minutes. It is really clean and all the machines are always working when I come in. They have a snack bar that sells food and drinks, along with items you may need to do your laundry. Parking can be a challenge, but they have a small parking lot and there is some street parking.

Comment: Today 4/7/24 at 830 ish pm, I walked in with wet clothes and headed straight towards the paid dry section. Not noticing the person yelling from across the building was an employee trying to get my attention. She told me no, no more clothes. No more washes. I told her I do not need to wash. She said oh, ok. I turned around and waked away. She then yelled again, saying well then what are you doing!? I turned around and said obviously Im paying to dry. She then told me that I didnt have to be rude and that I could leave if I wanted to continue to be rude. I just laughed to myself. I was just lost about how I was being rude, after she yelled at me like I was in elementary school. Im just trying to dry after putting my kids to sleep. It seems like every weekend I get yelled at for coming in during business hours by someone ive never seen before despite, like I said earlier, being there literally every weekend. 🤷

Comment: DO NOT WASH HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY!! MACHINES DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR MISTAKEN DEPOSITS!!I had a large load, and put money in a washer before loading it. Turns out, the washer was too small. No problem, theres tons of larger ones... Except the machines dont give refunds. So Ive just wasted $5.75 on a wash I cant use.They should AT least have signs warning people that washing machines do not give refunds. I also wish they could have at least offered store credit ANYTHING besides just a sad shrug and apology. The young lady working was very nice, but friendly staff doesnt really make up for my lost money.Theres also no option to cancel a wash, to at least the next guy has two free loads! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I wont be washing here again!

Comment: Been washing here for a few years and Ive had an enjoyable experience until recently due to the lady working the night shift at this location(around 7:30pm). Whenever I ask her a question related to the machines her response in a dismissive tone saying Im on lunch. she seems to have a terrible attitude. Im not sure if its just me or she is this way towards all customers (or maybe Im the first to speak up). My experience has been less than stellar and tonight will be my last time coming to this Love laundry location due to this employee. During our initial interaction I thought she couldve been tired at that time or frustrated by other customers or it was just a bad day for her. however, after two more interactions with this same lady I dont believe this to be the case.Overall, she is very rude and the customer service falls short of expectations. Its disappointing because its a nice spot, like I said Ive washed my clothes here many times before with no issue from staff. Hopefully this feedback helps to improve the overall customer experience.

Comment: 1/09/24 Tuesday 8pm. I walked in to get change before using the machine & the lady pictured asked if I was going to wash? I explained that I just needed to use the dryer’s because my laundry wasn’t completely dry, just damp. She responded that the policy isn’t for dryer use only, that customers must wash before using the dryer’s even if they use the paying dryer’s. I asked why, & she said b/c ppl have dirtied the machines by just using the dryers before so it’s just the policy. I said she could inspect my laundry to assure her it was clean, just not completely dry. She said “No I’m not losing my job”. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I asked her if it was fair to exclude me & she said “yes”. After reflecting on the encounter, I felt ashamed to be a player in this human comedy. I know she’s doing the best she can with what she’s got, with where she’s at but I still felt sorry for her to be working in a place that is transforming her persona into a heart-less, logic-less, unattractive person. It’s like if I walked into a burger joint & ordered a Pepsi only to be told that I must order the burger too because it’s policy due to other ppl before me who only ordered the Pepsi who were less desirable patrons. Like I said, I feel so sorry for this lady in having to work here & be the nasty gatekeeper to the machines. I know she once was a beautiful person in her childhood innocence but life’s twists & turns has jaded her. Love laundry isn’t the place for her to be working, the irony of this place showing no love, transforming this misguided woman into an unlovely shell. Hopefully she won’t negatively transform or misguide any other youth out of spite because of her grotesque persona.

Comment: The laundry facility itself is very clean but theres no posted notes that washing machines all stopped at 8:30 on the website itself it does say eight-thirty last wash but farther down in the owners own words 10:30 is the last wash so theres already confusion there... The laundromat tenant the washing machines with turn off at 8:30 we already had the laundry in and soap all over when those machine shut off so now were scrambling to try to find one that hadnt turned off yet luckily for us we did but now its a little frustrating when theres nothing posted anywhere about eight-thirty last wash. And nobody tells us they just shut off.. tenant is already cleaning building like shes closing at 7:45 so were already feeling rushed to get out of there.. when we spent a lot of money..... I would like to add at 9:45 the tenant is pushing us to be out at 10 exactly we didnt get the folder close spent a lot of money to have them washed and try to get them dry and now we dont even get the full door closed so now we got a whole bunch of bags full of wrinkled clothes because this girl pushing us out unacceptable very rude should be I should be compensated for my time and money that I have spent on this facility that I didnt even get to do if I could go back and give a zero star on the tenant and behavior of such I would facility is clean faculty is a zero on the phone the whole time wiping up right behind people as they go so she can clock out not caring if our clothes are done or not 🚫 shame... Obviously this girl should learn some manners on customer service.... Because she has none!!! If we do come back to this facility it will definitely be without her here!!!!! We spent $40 plus dollars on laundry and we didnt even get to fold our clothes...

Comment: I went there back April of this year, and was charged for my large wash. It cost me $14.00. Then also had 2 unauthorized charges of $17.00 and $18.00 I have called many times and no response.This place is too crowded and not enough free dryers. I suggest lLoves Laundry on 21st St. and S St. Its a lot bigger and plenty washers and lots of free dryers . No nasty people that smell. They keep the riff raff out. I would rate the other one the best in Sacramento

Comment: Just today Tuesday. The lady who works here has all of the paid dryers just sitting there with clothes while customers are arguing about dryers and standing waiting on some. I had to overload my three dryers because there are no more available. She had 10 dryers just sitting there with little bits of clothes. If they’re all ready dry, why not consolidate the dryers or put them in baskets until she can get to them. I usually enjoy coming here but today this one employee is idk. The other ones are usually great.

Went off on me as soon I lifted my $20 to get quarters and did say a word before that. I didnt even bother going back inside. How embarrassing, but not surprised coming from a laundry mat. Bottom of the barrel service. Consider putting a sign by the coin machine vs yelling. Potentially racist establishment, yet they are in the center of diverse and elite company.

Comment: I dont just Like Love Laundry Midtown! I Love it! I put my clothes in the wash at 9pm to get ready to post to get clean and ready to be photographed and posted to my sales page. I entrepreneur in fashion sales. So I when to get dinner at Ihop and was there for 3 hours talking my friend waitress. Came back the next day, I seen she was working and I said Im so sorry I left my clothes I was hungry and went to eat and didnt budget my time correctly. She smiled, said wasnt anything but happy to see me return for my clothing items. She had them in a bag nicely in under 30 sec. She said Im glad to see you return, we worried. Thank you Maria! You made me happy and another $600 in sales..... Thats you get @ Love Laundry Integrity & Work Ethics.

Comment: First time here.. just returned from a week long trip in Florida and had a ton of dirty laundry.. I threw it all in one of the 4 load washers for 7.25.. I air dry most of my clothes...so I used one of the pay dryers for socks, underwear, ets...spent 1.00 for the dryer for 24 minutes...I was out of there in just over and hour and spent 8.25..what a bargain...the place was spotless..had great music and a big screen tv for viewing pleasure...Im a fan!

Comment: I have been going to love laundry for about 6 months, with no issues AT ALL.When I first started going & using a debit card - it charged my card the $10 processing fee. When I talked to the very nice manager - she told me I was more than welcome to have my card ran by an employee so I don’t have to continuously pay the fee. Which is never a problem with any of the employees before & everyone has always had great customer service.Until 7/29 - Serenea was working. I put my clothes in a washer. I asked if I could pay for a washer in which I was talked down too - being informed it was her break (which I wasn’t aware of since she was doing laundry at the time), she will do it this time for me, rolling her eyes, etc. I never gave it any time. I work 12 hour days- I don’t have time for it. She started my washer and we went about our business.Last week I went in - I had some cash so I chose to pay with cash so that there was no confrontation.Tonight I tried to go inside and start laundry. I asked her if I could pay the $7.50 for my washer. She continuously questioned me, refusing to run my card after I asked her 3 times to please run my card. Which resulted in me choosing to take my business elsewhere so I removed my clothes from the washer and walked out the back door.She was at the front door recording my husband and I stating she would’ve given us a free wash and that we were doing too much - I wasn’t asking for a free wash. I was asking to pay $7.50 for a 4 loader. We didn’t say anything to her. She came outside with the attitude and I had to stick up for myself.This resulted in her thinking that I was going to come back - I had no intention on ever returning, especially for her. I was just trying to do laundry to begin with.I hope that the cameras are ran back and the manager really evaluates what led up to her being treated the way she was. That attitude isn’t going to be tolerated from everyone.

Comment: FIRST, I AM NOT A BOT.I have gone there at different times of the day, 6am, 9am afternoon, 9pm 10pm.... AndThis is the friendliest and cleanest laundromat around. Even the other Loves (West Sacramento and South Sacramento) dont come close. As for the attendants, they have been pleasant, courteous and helpful..When I went there 7 weeks after shoulder surgery, the young lady noticed I was struggling trying to reach up, she gave me a hand rather than letting me struggle. It was getting extremely close to closing time but she didnt rush me instead told me to take my time. That meant a lot. The owner should be happy they have an employee who gets her own work done efficiently but still is able to help her customers who need extra help.Finally, while it is a little pricey its well worth it -clean, safe, and helpful courteous employees....Loves Midtown is the best.

There are vending machines for drinks snacks and anything you could need with laundry. The staff were very polite and so were the customers.The staff were constantly making sure the machines, the floor, and environment was clean! The large machine that holds 6 loads was about $10 and the smaller ones that hold 4 were $7.50. You can pay with card so no need for quarters. The Huge industrial size dryer was $0.25 for 4 minutes!Clothes washed, dried, and folded in less than an hour!

Tonight, 1/28/22, my experience was with Jasmine I asked her if she could help me with some oxiclean that was in the machine because I didnt bring any quarters. I also purchased some bleach. (the workers in the day time usually charge me on my debit card and then grab it from the machine) When I asked Jasmine, she seemed hesitant and I could tell she didnt want to help. Her comment to me was ...I mean.. Its in the machine for a reason. Because I felt like an inconvenience, I told her dont worry about the oxiclean. She said she would get it and I told her ...not after that comment! I purchased the bleach and just continued with my laundry. I was really surprised at her attitude because all the employees I see are very helpful! I think the customer service is the best here... But after tonight...I wasnt happy with her customer service. I dont think Id come this late anymore (after 630pm) off thats what we get.

Comment: Put my clothes to wash and asked to use the restroom. The employee was reluctant to give me the code saying she could get in trouble. As I was punching in the code the manager was getting visibly upset the employee let me use their restroom and asking her loudly if I was a customer while I was standing right there. About eight minutes later the manager starts banging on the door asking if there’s anyone in there and I came out and she acted like she didn’t know I was in there. After that I haven’t gone but now I send my clothes to Love’s through Volunteers of America and they lost a bag of my clothes. Other times they hardly use any soap and my clothes still smell. This company S-U-C-K-S

Comment: Quarter machines did not work both of them.the washing machines did not spin out the clothes and one of the 3 loaders left bleach and soap in my clothes even though the washer was fineshed.the machines took some effort on my part to make them take the quarters they got caught and wasted my time.i was very upset and swore not to go back.I remember when they first opened up it was fun to do laundry you have dryers that are all occupied even though they been done for awhile the free dry is helpful only when they can be used.ive also been to West sacs love laundry where I almost got into a fight cause somebody not only removed my clothes but balled them up and left them on the counter wrinkeld and who knows what the person had on there hands. Personally I would never touch another persons clothes it is rude and can get somebody hurt. I use to love love laundry but I guess the honeymoons over.Times change owners lose focus and lowers there commitment I should have stayed home and did my laundry.

Comment: This place is always clean the folks working there are always kind and they are very attentive. I have had issues with the timing of their opening in the past however were all entitled to a slip up. the owner apologized when he showed up and got the place opened up right away. it does get busy and folks leave their clothes in the free dryers and walk away for hours sometimes which can really slow things down with so many patrons. they dont answer the phone so I wouldnt suggest calling but if you go on down there will definitely be a very friendly person working who will happily answer any question you may have!

Well I think loves laundry on k Street is a wonderful place to go simply because its clean its open till midnight the staff that I dealt with right before midnight was very very friendly and I couldnt complain. Now if you get there and dont have all your clothes in the washing machine ready to wash by 10:30 p.m. youre out of luck no staff in the world is going to wait for you to load up your laundry after that time they have to go home themselves and they do have a schedule that they have to stick with and not have too much overtime on their end so they giving you a service by being open till midnight. Please dont complain that you can get your clothes washed when you came in the door at 10:30 p.m. so they should say that the hours are from 6:00 a.m. till 10:30 but theyll be lying because they dont let anyone in the door after midnight you leave and you dont come back in after midnight you dont get new customers after 10:30 p.m. so dont come after 10:30 p.m. cuz youre not going to get your clothes done maybe you can dry clothes but not wash it says last wash at 10:30 p.m. so go ahead and take your laundry to k Street if youre anywhere near the midtown area and have good transportation or if youre walking distance of the laundromat its a wonderful place to do laundry when you get off work late and need clean clothes by the morning thanks Loves laundry for being there for me when I needed you and you have a great staff according to my experience I was in there on February 2nd at 10:00 p.m.

I had someone try to say that they reserved the dryer I’ve been waiting for. They do not do that here. The girls here were so helpful and will not let woolen cut in front of you. If anyone deserves a raise at this store it’s these two. Most the tim people are not as nice as them working. You found two great employees keep and promote them! Comment: Pretty disappointed, I used the debit card option to pay in two different dryers and only got eight minutes on each dryer. I was charged $2.50 per machine ($5.00 total) instead of $.25 cents ($.50 total) it actually dried for. In addition, it was pretty crowded and there was man there coughing up a storm with no mask on. Oh, did I mention there was no attendant to help with any of these issues. I had to ask another patron for help. I ended up finding a few bucks in my purse and did the ol school quarter option. It ended up costing me $7.00 to dry two loads for 32 minutes. Not cool!

Comment: Love Laundry was clean, fast, and a surprisingly good price. If you only have one or two loads, this may not be the best stop as single loads are pricey. However, the 2 load and larger machines are very reasonable and accept card payment. If you wash on site, drying is free. Our load of throw blankets took less than a half hour to dry, too! With the current coin shortage this will likely be our new spot for laundry.

It may have just been the closing staff, but she continously inconvenienced us (my partner and I) while we attempted to wash and dry our clothes.First, we are homeless, and dont have many opportunities to wash laundry. I had recently acquired enough money for a 6 load wash. When I loaded the machine, the employee made a point to tell us how much our laundry stinks.I tried to wash on a heavy load, so that the smell would get cleaned out, but it charged me 25 cents over the $9 I had. I asked if she could just spot us a quarter, and she declined.Honestly, this wasnt as big of a problem, because I understand that you guys have special policies. She just told us to set it to medium, and it seemed to work out just fine.Things started getting tense again when we were sitting on the bench, and she began cleaning for the end of the shift. She specifically came to us, and kept trying to clean under our feet, making us have to move.She didnt do this with the other customers sitting on the other benches; she waited for them to move, and came back to clean after the fact.When we tried sitting back down again, she said that she needed to lift the benches up, so we would need to stand, or sit outside. Once again, other customers were not treated this way.Finally, we had finished drying and were folding our laundry before the laundromat closed at 12:00. All other customers had left by this point, and she came back around after cleaning just to make it a point that our laundry smelled bad.Ive washed my laundry at other Love Laundry locations throughout Sacramento, and have never been treated this poorly. Im certain we were being discriminated against for being homeless, because we were clearly seen cleaning and rearranging our vehicle.I dont ever advocate for the termination of employees, based upon individual cases of discrimination such as what I experienced tonight (02/25/2020). Though, I would appreciate it if management took necessary measures to educate this employee on her behavior. Thank you in advance for reviewing my comments, and updating your procedures accordingly.

Comment: Ive been coming here for a while and recommended someone because service was good. Had an issue 2/1/2020 sent email, no response, Tweeted - zero response and facebook - nothing. Simply asked someone to email or call me regarding an issue. Paid $80 plus for laundry pick up that wasnt completed as requested. Asked for fabric softener, noted on receipt, but wasnt included. Instead it was over dried and smelled like chemicals. I am still without my usual bedding as I am waiting for someone to contact me to rectify the issue. Also the person who helped me was not the friendliest nor knowledgeable considering Ive had plenty of interactions between Franklin and Midtown... to know the general cost and pick up times. I hated to give a one star simply because management decided to ignore my requests for a call back. I am disappointed because until now Ive totally relied on your services and spoke so highly about your company to people/ coworkers etc., and to be disregarded like this -a single issue - is telling. Calling and getting a live person is a joke.

To be honest, I hadnt done my own laundry for over a decade when I stumbled in with my hamper full of dirty clothes, a bottle of detergent, and a roll of quarters. Like a lost child overwhelmed with fear, I turned to the first identifiable employee for help. Had it not been for Serenas kindness, Id still be wearing dirty clothes. She was extremely patient with me as she walked me through the dreaded DIY laundry process. She even refrained from laughing at my helplessness; just a reassuring smile here and there. Today, Im totally self sufficient and I have the clean clothes to show for it.

Comment: Love the open late, and friendly staff of this location.However last night I wish I had known that while they close at 12am, in reality they stop doing last wash at 10:30. I had one load of laundry I needed desperately to do and was turned away. So while that was a huge bummer, (and not included in anything online- that I could find) the cleanliness and safer location of this laundromat in comparison to those in my area, will keep me coming back. :)

Comment: Was looking for a new consistent drop off laundry service and noticed this place had the most positive reviews and good thing I decided to because I absolutely love the service I was given! First of all very easy to find and there was parking . Then I explained how bad my experience was with the previous place I went to and they not only finished my clothes hours before the eta bt they washed them exactly how I requested . Would recommend to anyone who wants clean great smelling clothes if you dont have time at home or your washer broke like me lol then these guys are your goto!

Comment: If youre going to clean all the dust and lint off the ceiling at least do it after business hours or when theres no customers inside WITH A DUST ALLERGY.6am Friday. Theres already customers inside washing. We cant take our wet clothes out because one idiot employee decides to clean the ceiling. Dust bunnies all over floor and machines, hard to breathe. No doors open. One door locked and the aforementioned idiot checks it, says oh, and goes right back to knocking more dust over floor and machines.

Comment: Well I didnt particularly get much use of the laundromat but I dropped off my fiance and baby girl. I noticed huge front loaders for $6, not bad considering the amount of stuff you can fit in.The place was clean so I had no issue leaving my baby girl with my fiance.Theres also clean bathrooms and free internet for patrons.When I came back to pick up my two ladies, my fiance told me about a kind person who offered a helping hand.It turns out the clientele is as classy as the laundromat.Happy laundering :)

Comment: I havent been to a laundromat in years but I figured with the name and the location (in the Lavender Heights district of Sacramento), I couldnt go wrong. I was so pleasantly surprised - even on a blistering hot day, it was cool inside. The washers and dryers were super clean, and the dryers were free and didnt over-dry my clothes. There is an attendant on duty who was super helpful and I appreciated I could use a credit/debit card, rather than dealing with change or singles. I highly recommend Love Laundry! (Oh, and there is a great Mexican restaurant across the street where you can get a delicious pomegranate margarita while you wait...just sayin).

Comment: My washer broke and had to find a last minute place to do my laundry. This location was the closest one to Natomas with flexible hours. I arrived around 5AM, and walked into an impeccably clean location. They had easy to use machines, seating area, super clean bathrooms, atm machine and a change machine. It was pricey to do a load, it cost me about $4.75 per load, but it was fast and the washer cleaned my clothes better than my old washer at home. Also, the few folks that were there doing their laundry were very friendly and even gave me some tips. Will definitely come back.

I arrived just before its 10:30 which is last load cut off time. I finished & had my vehicle loaded by 12:20a. I only had 2 restart the 3 dryers I used once & everything was dry. Washing machines are a little on the pricey side but combined with the free dryer use, it is only slightly higher priced than the laundry mats I have visited before (which were not in the same highly populated downtown area). Best of all, the machines use debit or credit cards rather than quarters!!!!!

Comment: Very understaffed. After putting my clothes in front-loaders to wash, I was told that they were closing 30 minutes early because there was nobody available to work from 11:30 to midnight. I watched as everyone including myself had to leave with bags full of wet clothes. Those who were able to get theirs dried were still having to fold outside in the parking lot, with no lights on. I spend about $200.00 every month doing laundry, but I dont think I will continue to choose Love Laundry. After watching the employee chastise a Mexican-American man who spoke little English--calling him stupid and that he should have listened better--that doesnt sit well with me, because I wasnt told she was leaving early until my clothes were already trapped in washing machines, too. How humiliating that this man had to wear wet clothes to his job that started at 1:00am! Where the Hell was the owner, or any of his friends that so often come in late to distract the all-female personnel? Ive never known a business to simply close because their employee wanted to leave early! But this was the 3rd time Ive witnessed it personally at this location. I wish the employee-- that typically works at the Howe & El Camino location---would stay there. I feel too ashamed to know anyone that could be as rude as she was. And to the owner, Mark or Mike, or whatever..: If you cannot find an employee to work for you, YOU should be there working, until you do! Youve lost my business, and I regret no longer being able to refer others to your business either.

Staff is actually somewhere to be found lol FREE DRY as long as you wash too (the Free Dry is limited, first come first serve) The only thing I didnt like was the amount of homeless hanging around the area and building itself. My boyfriend and I had some random tweaker ask to borrow his phone so he can get himself into rehab...at 9:30pm. Seeing as were both compassionate to someone wanting to make a positive change in their life, we lent him the phone, but we were both ready to jump if he decided to try to run (which would have been a very dumb thing to do as we were both standing in a way to prevent him from doing that, never took our eyes off him, and he was too far away from the exit anyway.) But still, just made us feel like we werent in the best of neighborhoods even though the facility is nice.

Comment: Clean,and VERY HELPFUL, not bad of a wait to do anything ex: wash,dry,and fold. The only surprise was when I went to change the setting on the washer it did cost like .25 more for a hot wash or heavier soiled wash. So just be prepared to pay.25 more for any other setting other than the settings that are already on the machiene when you put your clothes in. One last thing remember these are commercial dryers so if you dry your clothes on high check on them because they can get a burnt smell if you dry them on high a too long.(I learned my lesson)Lastly I recommend Love Laundry how could you not like a laundry mat with a name like LOVE LAUNDRY! ;-)

The inside is very clean, well lit, and not super humid like other laundromats I have been to before.The double load washers are $3.25 to start which seemed high to me, but they have free drying so its a wash... If you really want to get everything done in one massive load, they do have an 8 load washer that is $11.75.
