Comment: Don’t waste your time. Most nights the owners close up shop around 7pm even though they claim to stay open until 10pm. I’ve had nights where I get there at 6:30pm and they’ll turn me away because they just don’t feel like working that night. Most of the washing machines are either “out of service” or malfunction when you try to use their payment app. Good luck trying to use a dryer considering there’s usually only 3 in operational condition…Not to mention it’s dirty and the parking situation is a nightmare. You’re much better off going somewhere else.

Comment: At some point this place was nice but it no longer is.The door being busted was a bad sign. The app thing i think is gone. I didnt see signs for it. The change machine was out of quarters. The one machine that worked only took dollars and I didnt have singles. None of the 5 places in the plaza was able to break a $5, I had to go across the street. Id say more than half the machines were down. I prefer you tape off broken machines, some places let customers use broken machines but you have to get them repaired in a timely manner.On the plus side, the place was clean and the dryer at 9mins for 25c was more than fair. 2.75 for a double load was reasonable.

Comment: I have been coming to this laundromat for the last two years. The last few months the quality of this laundromat has plummeted. Many of the machines are broken, a large portion of the laundromat is not available for use, and their QR code system for paying for the machines via your phone hasnt been working. The machines still take coins, but it is disappointing seeing the quality of this place decrease.

Comment: A lot of out of order machines including vending machines. The attendant smokes cigarettes next to the door so the whole place smells like smoke. They also keeps some shedding dogs around. Not great for feeling like youre leaving with clean laundry.EDIT:After posting this review the owner decided to confront me. Instead of offering ways that they might improve, they decided to tell me never to return (as if I was planning on it) and openly contemplated kicking me out with my clothes still in the machine. I decided to leave before my time was done on the dryer, it still stank of smoke and didnt seem worth it to fold clean laundry in that environment. 0 stars.

Comment: I have been going here for half a decade and always loved this place (as much as anyone can love the laundromat lol). However I had a very strange experience tonight, where upon arriving at 8:35pm the gentleman working there tried to shoo me away saying the last call to start laundry was 8:30pm; even though the place closed at 10pm. He further insisted he could not make an exception for me as he already made plans to leave after the one other remaining customer left (who was currently drying his clothes). I begged the guy to at least let me wash my clothes, promising I wouldnt keep him any longer than the other customer and that I absolutely would be done before the official close at 10pm. He ultimately relented to only letting me use the wash. After my clothes finished washing, the other customer was still there doing his laundry (and the worker was nowhere to be found) so I went ahead and started drying my clothes thinking Id just leave when the other customer finished if the worker guy made a fuss. The worker must have seen I had started drying my clothes from a distance and called the manager Kerri, who showed up shortly after. I could see them mean-mugging me from afar, but the other customer was still finishing folding his clothes, so Kerri didnt say anything at first. As soon as the other customer left, I could sense what was coming so hurriedly started retrieving my clothes from the dryer as they both advanced upon me. Kerri very aggressively told me off for being rude to the worker; saying she saw me on camera (Im not sure what she could have seen except me politely pleading with the worker to let me wash my clothes?). I assured them both I had every intention of leaving as soon as the other customer was finished so as not keep him, apologized multiple times and thanked them for allowing me to do my laundry. I further assured Kerri I had not been rude in anyway to her worker and I appreciated him letting me wash my clothes. Her response was well your standards of being polite are different than ours, and its best if you NEVER come back here. This all went down at about 9:30pm as I was leaving; 30 min prior to the official close and literally not keeping the worker a minute later than he would have otherwise had to have stayed on his shift.

Comment: I’ve been coming here for years, always had nice things to say about the facilities. I came today to wash my bedding and as I was sipping my coffee, mask in hand, the apparent owner approached me and asked me to put my mask on. I apologized, suggesting I thought it was okay as I’m drinking my coffee (and they serve snacks), and he rudely said he’d “been watching me” and I “wasn’t drinking anything.” Super uncomfortable to be stared at as femme identifying and black. Won’t be coming back here.

Comment: Great place to do laundry.Lots of washing machines and dryers (some dont work),There are also carts that can be used to transfer the laundry to the dryer, in addition there are machines where you can buy washing powder and fabric softener. Note that the machines only accept a quarter of a dollar (and there are Fritta machines there!).All in all a great place!The downside - no air conditioning (very hot).There is free parking.

Comment: Service was out of this world. As someone who worked for Estee Lauder (the family privately in Bel Air) and always having professional laundering done, Carey is gold. Everything came out perfect. Even soiled stuff from my dog being in heat, was returned fresh and no stains. Definitely worth the drive or you can choose to have delivery. Either way you wont be disappointed 💯 Trust her with your dirty laundry!!!

Comment: I have laundry machines in my building but whatever they break (which is often) I run here to get things done. The machines are affordable and quick. Havent had any problems. I also tried the fluff and fold service with pick up and delivery. Everyone was very nice and my clothes came back clean, folded and smelling great.

Comment: We were so lucky to discover this gem in the neighborhood. Because we are in the high risk group, we felt uncomfortable going to our normal laundromat to do our laundry. Thankfully, I read on Next Door that The Laundry Room offered a Fluff and Fold Service. Kerry has kept us safe and in clean clothes during this pandemic. There is contactless drop off and pick up or if you prefer for a small fee, you can have your clothes picked up and dropped off at your home. Kerry is always professional, quick to respond, kind and friendly. The service has been great and the clothes come back clean, soft and neatly folded and packaged. Were so relieved to have Kerry and The Laundry Room during this time.

Its an upcharge for the delivery but the best part is she is so consistent. And due to the fact I am handicap, they even come in my house and help me separate it and bag it!I love their service.Its always the same (perfect) Everytime.

She was so fast and efficient and told me she would have my clothes ready the same day. I even had some tough stains in some of my whites that I ask her to take extra care of and everything came back so spotless I was legit so shocked. Comment: Went to do laundry today. They are working on the place but it’s super clean. Machines work well and prices are reasonable. The owner is there and she greets customers and keeps things running. The prices are not bad at all, especially considering it’s in a trendy hipster area. Parking lot is good for the area and there is street parking around.There’s a Starbucks two blocks east and it’s a quiet walk.I was in and out in about an hour.Machines did a good job on my clothes.There is also free WiFi and lots of charging outlets for your products. It felt safe and comfortable.

I used to spend hours in laundromat like this one in: Paris, Rome, London, Madrid, in my days...I would bring along beside huge bags of laundry, my favorite book, and after Id put the wash in the machines, make a stop at a nearby ‘boulangerie’ or ‘paninoteca’, the another stop to a pastry shop and get a mille-feuilles and literally spend half a day relaxing and washing my clothes after having been on the road for weeks/months. It was a pleasant ritual. This place remind me of those places and takes me back to those days. The service is awesome. Carl and Kerry are so sweet and helpful. I get a panini and a panna cotta, or a plate of home- made pasta’s from La Pergoletta (Italian restaurant that is literally next door) and… read my favorite book. “Tropic of Cancer”. Love this little plaza!!!

Comment: Terrible service. Unfortunately, I will never use this place again. Clothes came back dirty and wet (not damp, but very wet). I was charged and extra fee for same-day turnaround on items to be washed. I was contacted to collect the items later that day only to find 80 % of the clothing still wet and not fit for transport. In addition to this, some of the items now had white stains on them from the wash. Kerry, one of the managers who was supposed to fulfil the service, the. Told us she had to leave and we were left with a lot of wet items which we had to dry and fold ourselves. This took approximately 90 mins and so made the expensive service unnecessary as we carried out much of it ourselves. When we inquired about reimbursement or an offer to make up for the poor service we were told we would be contacted. Since then our voicemails and text messages have gone unanswered. Shame.
