Comment: I brought in a blazer that had water marks. They attempted twice to clean the blazer and was not able to remove the stain. They stated if they tried it could damage the fabric. These were only water stains. I was charged $16 for a jacket that looks exactly the same as I brought it in. I took the blazer home and was able to remove all the water stains on my own. I will never bring anything to your cleaners again.

Comment: Amazing service! I love that all communication is done via Text. The moment I dropped off my clothes, I got a Text with receipt of my drop off and estimated date/time when they would be ready for pickup. When they were ready, I got a Text. Whenever I was ready to pick them up, I just simply replied “ON MY WAY”. The moment I got there 15 minutes later after my Text, my clothes were ready for me. Never had to wait at all! An added bonus (and a patriotic one) is that all active US military uniforms are complimentary. Thank you Kona Cleaners!

Comment: Waiter spilled olive oil onto my lap at a restaurant, I thought for sure my jeans were smoked for good and would end up in the trash (which sucks because they were expensive). Kona took care of them and even a day ahead of schedule. Just look at the pics, Im still dumbfounded on how they got it all out when I washed them twice myself!100% would go back!

Comment: Brought in a quilted Burberry jacket for them to dry clean and it cost me $36. When I got it back, the pockets lining were gone. The Hispanic lady who was in charge of investigating called me multiple times just to “update” me on the matter. However mostly she called to ramble on and on with an attitude while insinuating that my jacket was fake or too old (I got it 5+ years ago and this is the first time I brought it in for dry cleaning) to look for any replacement parts for the jacket. She offered to look through camera footages to see if anyone cleaned out the pockets before dry cleaning but in the end she said the camera footage was too long to look through. Basically she won’t do anything about it anymore so I just gave up. Bottom line is DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE with any expensive item. If they mess up, they will try to say your item is fake and they won’t be any help. Better to go to a smaller dry cleaning run by mom and pop so your items will stay and get cleaned at one location instead of being shipped out to multiple places.

I knew they would have to replace the zipper and gave them the okay to use a different color, the shade of green couldn’t be matched. Comment: I asked for a military press and the lady confirmed they could and would do that. My mom picked these up for me because I was not off work by the time they closed. When I got home to check these items, they were not military pressed. My friend had the same issue and she was told that if we request something to be military pressed, the employee has to call the manager, request to set that up on our account and approve it, and then set it up on our account in order for it to be military pressed. That information was never relayed to me. I asked for it to be done and she said okay, and then it didnt get done and I was not informed of the procedure. I had to go get everything re dry-cleaned at another different location in order to get it in on time for the event I needed.

When we moved here, many places were fine but after used older products that left clothes stiff sand smelly. Kona is organic and had also removed all spots and smells. Comment: I use the Kona location in Huntington Beach. I was looking for a new fluff n fold and dry cleaning place that could do both. So far I have been very happy with the service. The staff are very nice, and the quality of the cleaning is good. Its a little pricey, but I dont mind paying a little more for it because I am particular about my laundry and so far Kona is doing a great job.There is an option for home pick up and I have not used that yet but I may in the future. I love that they have an app that allows me to set my preferences for how my clothes are cleaned. I can also see the status of my orders and there are lots of discount coupons on the app which is nice.Overall, good quality, nice people, and easy. I like their hours are long so I can stop on my way to work or on my way home. They are not open on Sundays at the HB location but thats fine with me. Give them a try!

The sweatshirt got caught in the wheel and it ripped a HUGE hole in the back of it. I took it to the seamstress at Kona cleaners and she was able to fix it with a patch and some stitches. I can barely even see where it was ripped. She did an AMAZING job fixing it. The hole was probably about 3 inches long and it looks like it was never there. Seriously impressed with her talent!

I love that they use tiny adhesive bar codes instead of staples to tag my clothes like other dry cleaners. Dez is awesome and always greets me by name. They have an app that allows me to tell them I’m on my way to pick up my clothes so they’re hanging right next to the door for me. In and out in less than 30 seconds. Just a great company.

I guess they outsource for the shoe cleanings though, so it’s really not their fault. My suede heels went in with just a couple dingy spots to be lifted and came out with the straps stained darker and the soles peeling up. Thankfully they did not charge me for it and the tailor glued the soles down for me. They were understanding about it, which I appreciated.UPDATE:After posting the original review, someone from the company contacted me. Apparently they do clean shoes themselves, even though they guy originally said they are sent out. Anyways, they offered anything more they could do to help with the situation I had with the shoes from paying for the cost of them to crediting my account further for another alteration. They said the rating are really important to them and they want to make things right. I appreciated the lengths they went to make things right.

Comment: This would be 5 stars if my alteration went right the first time. With being in the military, we have expensive uniforms that need to be tailored. I specifically asked the cashier to “LET OUT,” meaning I need some more space in my trousers. Needless to say, a week later, I received my altered trousers thinking they were completed per my request. After realizing they were tighter than before, I immediately called the store and I had to make a second trip. The unfortunate incident is that the alter removed excess clothing from my trousers and had little clothing to fix this discrepancy. They are still tight but not to my tailoring needs and unfortunately if I need alteration again, I’ll have to purchase and expensive set of trousers for something that wasn’t my fault. Don’t drop off your clothing when they open up. Wait until all staff are in to properly assist you and double check your alteration request.
