Comment: Im incredibly furious and disappointed with my experience at this Jos A. Bank location. I came in to have a custom suit tailored for my daughters wedding. After a few weeks I come in and the jacket is impossibly small to tailor to my size. They agreed that the woman who took my original measurements screwed up. I come back weeks later and the jacket is now tailored very weird with the waist area on the sides cinched in. Im a big dude and dont have an hourglass figure. I returned a couple weeks later and the pants arent even close to fitting. They measured me and said the tailor would take it out so theyd fit. I returned today for the FOURTH time and I cant say Im surprised that the pants still didnt fit. Im a big dude so I figured thats why I was paying almost $1,000 to have a custom suit tailored for me here. The tailor told me those cant be taken out enough to fit me. Theyre the ones that picked all of this stuff out. I asked for a refund because I didnt want to start from scratch again. It took over 30 minutes for them to figure out how to give me a refund. Now I have to wait 10+ days for a check to be mailed to my house, and Im back to square one to get a custom suit in a month for my daughters wedding. They didnt express much remorse for the trouble I went through or even try to win me back as a customer. Just a sorry this didnt work out for you. I just replied, I just wanted to buy a suit that fit me. Ive literally got jackets off Amazon for $75 that were a better quality and fit than this thing.If they were truly sorry as their reply below states, theyd reach out to me personally instead of an anonymous response. Comment: It must be me. Maybe Im old. Age 61. I have previously purchased suits from Jos A. Bank. If the company actually reads this post I purchased 3 trilogy suits in the past. What that means is 2 pairs of pants with 1 matching jacket. The quality of the trilogy suits is astronomically better than the quality now

Comment: We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if we needed help with anything. I cant remember the ladies name, but she was extremely helpful! She measured my husband and fitted him from head to toe. They didnt have the right size shirts for him, but she went out of her way to find the shirts in their inventory. I would definitely recommend this place!

Comment: I went in with reservation as I had never been in a shop like this and I had an immediate need and a strict budget. Cathy was very understanding and got me setup with a complete suit with ties, shoes, the works. She also got me some casual extras. JoS A Bank has great looking suits as well as casual wear and the staff are friendly and professional. I recommend stopping by and getting outfitted for your next night out. I will be heading back myself.

Comment: Just a word of thanks to the Sacramento JA Banks (at Pavilions) for assisting myself and my father in renting tuxedos for an East Coast wedding. Service was top-notch and the fit was perfect!! It’s been 30 years since my last rental, but this was so easy and inexpensive that I definitely see more sooner rather than later.

Comment: Jos A. Banks has graced America since 1905 with excellence in mens clothing and seems second to none for quality and appeal. Thats what I love about Jos A. Banks... Theyve got the clothing you need for occasion, events or travel. Youre far better off going to Jos A. Banks then those unmentionable mall outlets.. I will definitely be going there again as the prices were good too. Dont wait...what you want in your sizes could sell out . Im not certain but inventory is probably seasonal too, so right before the seasons change is a good time. Also, theres fewer and fewer outlets because of the current security and economic meltdowns globally..

Comment: My future husband and I walked in today, we unfortunately had to leave just now because no one was helping us out they barely greeted us when we walked in. One employee said he was busy, we understand hes putting clothes away, but if its customer oriented, as others have said, when asking for help finding a suit, that help should have been given. Idk, maybe it was the way we were dressed that they assumed we were not going to be buying or renting thats why they payed us no attention or offered any help . Their attention was on the nicely dressed couple, apparently takes 3 to 4 employees to help one customer. Any ways sorry its blazing hot outside and we like to be dressed confortable for the weather shorts and t shirts. We decided to come to Mens Wearhouse instead and the enviorment is already 10x better .

Comment: My fiancé and I are getting married in a month and needed to find him a suit. We knew we needed some guidance on fit and sizing. We first to Men’s Warehouse but did not receive the guidance we needed. We then tried Macy’s and found a suit that looked decent, but we decided to give Jos A. Bank a try before purchasing anything from Macys. We had never been here before so were not sure what to expect. We were immediately greeted by Hares. He listened to what we wanted and was extremely helpful. We did not feel rushed at all. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes because he made the process so easy! Also, we purchased the jacket, pants, shirt, vest, and alterations; the cost was less than what we would have paid at Macys for just the shirt and pants. This will be the only place we go to if we ever need to buy another suit! Thank you, Hares!

Comment: After losing 80+ pounds my husband needed to renew his business clothing inventory. The store was busier than I expected. Lucky for us we connected with a terrific sales associate - Hares S. We are very pleased with his help. He was efficient, quick, (not rushed), great attitude. He knew the stock available, found great sales options for us and we were in and out in far less time than I anticipated (normally we hate clothes shopping). Overall a very pleasant experience. He just called with a heads up for us that the altered trousers are being shipped today and to give us the shipping / tracking number. Thank you to everyone in the store - because Im sure that Hares is part of a good team.

Comment: Very nice inside but smaller than expected. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Brought in suit I ordered online in to get altered and finished and they measured and I left it with them, costs $25, but itll be ready in 3 weeks 🤷🏻‍♂️. They have a decent clearance area and some shirts were on sale for $10, but they didnt have much in the way of jackets in size 38, maybe next time. Generally the smaller sizes are harder to come by in store clearance. It was good to try things on but might still order online.

We walked out with quality suits at an unbeatable price point after shopping at some other main retail stores. Victoria also ensured that the other groomsmen could conveniently pick up and tailor their suits at a different Jos. A Banks location in Colorado. My suit was shipped to San Diego and arrived in pristine condition. Couldnt say enough about the service here.
