I can never seem to make my schedule work to wash laundry in the day time like a normal person so the fact that it’s open 24 hours alone makes this place my go-to. Not to mention the fact that they keep it very clean, there’s lots of washers, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single one ‘OUT OF ORDER’ and the dryers work really well.The only thing about this place is, it’s sometimes packed pretty full but at super random hours. Sometimes I’ll go there at like two or 3 o’clock in the morning and there will be a ton of people there and sometimes I’ll go there in the same wee hours of the morning (or night….idk, whatever) and there’s virtually nobody there. So it’s kind of hard to plan for how many loads to bring or whatever but I would hardly call that a complaint.If I can give it more than five stars, I would.

The owner, Adam, has stopped providing change and has gone to tokens for dollars because hes too cheap to buy quarters or coin dollars at his bank.If one uses a debit or credit card, s/he better know Spanish because the attendants are monolingual Spanish speaking only sometimes. Some dont know how to trouble shoot the machines anyway. These machines add a surcharge to use them because, once again, Adam is too cheap to incur the customers cost for their convenience to use plastic in the washers and dryers.Btw, Adam gets immediate credit for customers using a card, whereas before he had to empty the coins and make a physical deposit at the bank. Seemingly every month the price increases for using both the washers and dryers. 25 cents for four minutes is exorbitantly expensive to dry. $7 for a washer is even more prohibitively expensive.People still arent physically distancing or wearing masks, even though theres a notice in the front window to do so.PEOPLE, THE PANDEMIC ISNT OVER AND THE VACCINES AND BOOSTERS ARENT PROTECTING OR EFFECTIVE AGAINST THESE NEW B1-4 VARIANTS. The uptick in new cases are ravaging the SF bay area, especially Oakland, and soon in San Francisco the variant will ravage the city.Although theres a public restroom, the notice that states its out of service is misleading because its operational, only one must hunt down the elusive attendant.In the early afternoon the place is like a ghost town. Usually it takes me 3 hours to do and dry four loads of wash when the place is busy. In the afternoon I can get in and out in two hrs.I recommend this place begrudgingly because it seems to increase its prices every other month. I realize theres a continuing drought in California, and the price of water has gone up again this month; however, how does that effect the price of dryers???Smh.

Comment: This is the ONLY 24 hour laundromat left in town [redact and update: the other 24 hr laundromat on Ocean Onondaga and Mission is now reopened again after ICE evicted and sent all their illegal residents and workers home.] AND my saving grace because of it. I know that at all hours of the night and day, I can reliably come here and do my laundry which is a BLESSING! I believe it is family owned. This family works HARD lemme tell you to keep this place operable and clean as well as free from loitering neer-do-wells.The other 24 hour laundromat on Ocean, Onondaga, and Mission had to reduce their hours after the ICE raid found undocumented workers living in the basement underneath before Covid. It didnt always feel as safe as this one either.The other laundromat had to reduce their hours of operation to close at midnight obviously bc they didnt have enough workers to man the place anymore around the clock to keep the creeps and weirdos away! May this family and their hard working hands stay blessed for many more decades to come!

But this last time one if the managers was really mad at me and trippin.Its true I was parked many hours in their lot before going in to wash clothes, but It wasnt intentional. I just couldnt stop falling asleep😁I swear! But he wasnt havin it no matter how humble I was to try and show it wasnt intentional. So he brow beat me the whole time i was there. Lol😆Its been a couple months since then and today I went there and it was entirely good. Nice (not to mention sexy)woman working there and she was cool. Smooth sailing. They were running a tight ship this time around. It really is hard not to notice and be impressed with the apparent toughness and resiliency so often displayed by hispanics. 😊

Comment: I had written a very nice review of Fiesta Laundromat several months ago but accidentally didnt post it.Im glad.If money is no object then this is the place to go.Open 24 hours,staff on site too,very clean,many machines,lots of carts,parking lot,ice cold sodas in a machine for $2.The washers work well and the dryers are usually hot,but $5 for the smallest washer and 25 cents for only 3 minutes on the dryers is just too much!They recently raised their rates-maybe if they lose some business they will take it back a bit.They do have a nice clean bathroom though,perhaps I should reconsider...No,its just too expensive for me.Maybe not for you though!

Comment: PROS: 24/7 hours, various size washers with magnum size $12. Dryers $1 for 12 minutes. Restroom available for customers. Vending machines for snacks and laundry supplies. ATM and quarter machine to change bills. Machines accept debit and credit cards as well as quarters. Machines and dryers that I used cleaned and dried well.CONS: Mask usage not enforced despite signage. Homeless people loiter and panhandle outside the entrance. Parking is available for free but lot is small and always filled. Some people wash all types of things inside the machines so pet hair may end up on clothes. Dryers will overcharge on debit or credit card. You will not know what charges are until after you leave and there is no receipt given.Overall not bad for options but the overcharge, panhandling, and rule enforcement made the rating drop to three stars. Will use facilities again but definitely will be prepared for the next visit. Also take and use disinfectant wipes because despite attendant wiping off some surfaces, customers placed all types of things on the counter areas used to fold clothes.Update:Magnum dryers are $13.The laundromat credit card system does a hold on cc/debit card charges until everything is tallied. I recommend keeping track of which machines are used in order to ensure accuracy.Overall decent facility with staff onsite each time I utilize service.Changed rating from 3 stars to 5 because proprietor explained the charge system and my charge was corrected.

Plus theres someone there cleaning at all times, so its not messy. Plus they have vending machines if you need supplies or something to drink or snack on. Lots of T.V.s to watch, but not a lot of seating. The machines are able to take credit or debit cards, which means you dont need a pocket full of change.

Its cleaner, the crowd is less sketchy, the employees are nicer, everything is cheaper from the largest to the smallest machine to the driers and they give you free detergent. It completely eludes me why this place is still in business.

The place is always clean and I always feel safe, which is a testament to the good people skills of the management. I even had a worker insist on providing me with a ride home one night-it was late and raining and Lyft had just literally went from $12 to $30+ so I was going to take the bus. He had a friend drive me, and he was so kind, refused to take any $$, just asked me to pay it forward.

One of only two laundromats in the area that is open 24 hours, at least to my knowledge. The machinery is always well upkept. You will rarely if ever see a machine with a Out Of Service tag on it like most laundromats. Convenience is paramount at Fiesta with a service attendant almost always on duty, on the premises. They certainly take the cake, when it comes to doing your laundry at a fair price and on your schedule. A+ (Not a score given lightly)

Comment: So I like brining my clothes to wash and dry at this location.Theres always an attendant on site 24/7 who are always making sure the facility is clean.Theyve got them MAGNUM load front load machines which run $11 to the smaller load machines which run you $7. Dryers are 12mins at 25 cents. Ive always only paid 50-75cents....theyre hot enough to dry.Best times to wash and dry are between midnight to 6am.Theyve got vending machines which sell detergents softeners and sheets, as well laundry bags. Theres also drink and snack machines too. And an ATM or if you prefer each machine has a card swiper should you choose pay with debit card.Its not busy, no kids running around, but some homeless people who hang outside. Other than that its safe area quiet.

Comment: This place is a lifesaver! And the only 24hr laundry mat in San Francisco. 🙀Theres a 24 hour attendant, who is always on his toes. This place is very clean and well maintained. The machines are clean and lint traps emptied as needed.Theres a few wide screen televisions, a little restroom for customers. A few vending machines. And well lit up.Theres also a 24 hr market just download the street.

Comment: The attendant is awesome, place is clean and comfortable. Prices are outrageous. $1.00 gets you 7 min on the dryer. The coin machine doesn’t give out quarters, they give out gold dollars, so it feels like you’re spending the same amount but you’re dropping whole dollars. Difference is they are 24 hours, so it’s worth it in a pinch.

The person on duty could be more vigilant with regards to controlling the inconsiderate patrons who sometimes are very noisey outside, as they wait for their wash cycle to end. Barking dogs should not be encouraged by their insensitive owners with car stereos pumping out tunes, and not so quietly too. Had to discretely brought this to the attendants attention. Who agreed and actioned it.

Comment: This laundromat used to be the best place on south Van Ness to do ones laundry. it offered half price washers between 12 to 6 am, an attendant was always present and accessible or cleaning, there was free coffee day and night, as well as many affordable large new washers and dryers. now, sadly, the place is overpriced, doesnt offer free coffee, and one has to bang on the office door to find an attendant to get a refund for the vending machines. the free coffee is gone.the washers are tired, and the dryers are too. the only perk, if one could call it that, is the machines are fitted to swipe ones debit or credit card. $7 to wash and $3 for 36 minutes to dry is exorbitantly expensive. you better know Spanish too, as the day staff doesnt know English well.

Comment: The machines are able to take cards and they are newer than most locations. They are also priced as fairly as one could ask. Not exactly budget friendly but not gonna break banks. Its 24hrs and wifi is free. There is almost always staff on hand ready to help. Its not a place for people who are easily offended by everyday SF debauchery and shenanigans but if youre blood is local or even just underwhelmed in general, youd do fine. Park close to the front window and go for machines within sight from your car. Spark up something to smoke and just chill until your done

Comment: This laundromat is my favorite. Its open 24 hours including, I believe, holidays (will be sure to double-check and update if Im incorrect). The interior of the building and the equipment are always clean and well-maintained. However, some of the dryers do not dry as well as others. Its hit or miss, unfortunately. Dont get me wrong, all of the dryers do, in fact, dry your laundry to some degree, but some are weaker than others. Staff are on-site 24/7. There are clean restrooms and you rarely have to wait to use them because they are locked and checked frequently by staff. They recently switched from using cash-loaded cards to pay for the machines to the industry standard of using quarters, thankfully. Just be sure to bring a variety of denominations with you because staff doesnt always make change. There are sinks available in case you need to pre-wash or handwash, but they have almost non-existent water pressure.Other perks include TVs to watch while you launder, free password-protected Wi-Fi and vending machines with snacks and laundry stuff. Unfortunately, there are no electrical outlets available for customer use. However, there have been a couple of times when the kind gentleman who works the graveyard shift has plugged my phone in for me in the locked office. Obviously, that was an rare favor and not something that I have repeatedly asked for nor expected on my subsequent visits.

Comment: This is the only 24hour laundromat that I know of in the city. But, dont misunderstand that to be an endorsement. This place is PLAGUED with every possible bad detail. For starters there is the fact that they recently changed from the credit card type machines back to coin slot machines. Which would be no big deal but, they also chose to jack the already high prices of washers and dryers to be more expensive. And, as if that isnt enough of an insult the place is a favorite hangout for every lowlife and scumbag that stays up nights. That includes streetwalking hookers from Shotwell and Capp street as well as their pimps, tricks and the police trying to keep containment in the Mission. And, as if that werent enough to drive away anyone with self-preservation in their top 10 priorities the place is smack dab in the middle of the what is easily the most violent areas of the city.

Patrons must load cash onto smart cards to operate machines, often resulting in an odd balance left on card which then must be retained until the next visit.

After washing, she refused to refund my change from my card of $4.75. I contacted help number with no answer. Poorly managed business and staff. Extremely rude. Try somewhere else. Take my advice. Comment: 24 hour laundry. I have been several times in the past month due to the closure of laundromat in my neighborhood. This place has washers in a variety of sizes, from small petite washers to 3 or 4 jumbo sized washers--i put about 8 loads into one with plenty of room remaining. All the. Machines are well maintained and there are folding tables available. Uses a money onto card system so you want to estimate closely so as not to have lots of money left on the card. There is a parking lot that accommodates about 8 vehicles. The soda machine took my money and didnt give me a soda. So far, every time I have been there it has been very busy, but there were machines available to get started.

The attendant encorages this behavior when she disappears for hours at a time on a dinner break during its busiest times. Recently, the owner said providing change was a courtesy and not customary. One must buy a unfriendly plastic card and put cash on it to use the machines. The washing machines dont always work and the attendant doesnt give refunds. One must request a refund by filling out a form! Its prices seem to go up every other month yet the service goes down faster than my money into its machines. Once this place offered half price after midnight and even free coffee. Then, it was overrun with homeless and people with dogs off leashes and not service animals. Crowded, overpriced and poorly run best describe this place after 12 years. If you like to watch television and listen to screaming, unsupervised Latino children and poor service, then this place is great. The parking lot is in utter disarray on a good day, and people stand right outside the door to smoke, causing the entire place to reek of cigarettes. Ive complained to the health department about the dogs, but apparently the management doesnt care because its done nothing. Im walking four blocks out of my way to mission street to do my laundry after years of patronizing this place because I cannot abide it or its surly and disgusting environment anymore. G. SOYLS

Comment: This laundromat is a close distance to my house. Ive gone here for a while now but the service today was outrageous. For starters, the eployee working today was extremely violent today with my mother, sister and me. I have service animals which by law is legal to enter into any building without any circumstances that prohibit them to come in. A littlw boy about 3 or 4 years old was walking around the laundromat ALONE. The parents werent anywhere near the little boy. He was approching my dogs who were in their doggy storller, and began barking at him. I dont know if the little boy tried to pet my service dogs or what the case was but once the enployee came out she began yelling and saying get those dogs out now. Ive said this before and you people dont listen. She also said to leave them in my car where they could die from the heat. Why would anyone reccomend that option on a hot day? After we showed her proof that the dogs were service animals she began screaming and arguing with my mother saying I dont want those dogs in here!! We kept saying they are service animals and we couldnt be kicked out because of them. The little boy was not injured in anyway nor did he begin crying from the dogs barking at him. The employee then began VIOLENTLY ASSULTING my mother just because she said she wasnt leaving. After voilently assulting my mother she called the autborities and accuse MY MOTHER of hitting her which never happened. There has also been times before this incident where she has sat down to play games on her tablet or cell phone. Is this really the service that people are supposed to be offered?? This lady does everything but her job and if she doesnt get some sort of consiquence for her violent actions it will be very upsetting to know she is still able to work there after what she has done. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.

BUT.....due to the rudeness that i just encountered i will no longer be spending a cent here. I drive Lyft graveyard and desperately needed to visite the little girls room so i attempted to at my favorite LM when i was looked up an down then told for customers only. WOW i thought i was a customer. Needless to say i was upset due to the fact that i have yet to see any of the working girls spend a dime but i have spent hundreds. Comment: The Best, and Greenest place to do your Laundry in the Bay Area. Sparkly Clean, Free Parking, Friendly and hard working staff. The Dryers are all run by Solar Energy, and have been for years. Big Place. Many, many washers and two huge walls of super efficient dryers.
