Comment: We had the honor to have Eric as our DJ on our special day on 6-4-24. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and a big part of that magic can be attributed to Eric. Not only did he keep the dance floor alive with an amazing mix of songs that had guests of all ages moving and grooving. From the first time we spoke with Eric, we knew we were in good hands. He took the time to understand our music preferences, crafted a playlist that perfectly suited our tastes while also ensuring there was something for everyone. The transitions between songs were seamless, maintaining the energy and excitement of our special day from start to finish. But what truly set Eric apart, however, was not only his musical expertise but was his willingness to go above and beyond his role as our DJ. Eric captured memories of our special day without us even asking him. He took it upon himself to film snippets of the wedding, capturing candid moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. From my wife and I holding each other hands at our ceremony to the energetic dance circles to our final song where my wife and I had a private dance, Eric was there to document it all, adding an extra layer of joy and nostalgia to our wedding. His attention to detail and commitment exceeded our expectations did not go unnoticed by our guests, many of our guests commented on Eric’s amazing music choices and his smooth transitions. He seamlessly integrated himself into our special night to ensure that everyone had a night to remember. Comment: DJ Epic (Eric Morales) sure knows how to turn those disks. If you need someone to start the party and keep it going with slick transitions, who has a sixth sense for reading the atmosphere, and who plays straight fire—Eric is your guy. His experience really shows when he takes the mic and transitions between important key moments. We only had a couple small hiccups with details of our schedule being missed, but Eric course-corrected quickly, and overall we would highly recommend him for parties and weddings.Extreme DJ Services as a whole was fantastic, too. Their online portal really helped us to stay organized and trust that Eric had all the info for our event in one place. We were pleased with the professional service and quality that matched the price we paid for their services.

Comment: Sad to say we would not recommend this company. We hired them for our wedding, gave them our playlist that we had compiled over the past 6 months of our favorite songs, only for them to play only “80 percent”. We would have been happy with the dj playing our Spotify playlist on repeat the whole night rather than the songs that were played. We called the manager/owner to express our concerns and we received an expressive and defensive response from him. All he did was give percentages of what WAS played rather than hear from the bride and groom, how the experience made us feel. Our experience did not matter to him. He said on our call that this was a “small part of his business”, I guess meaning that we aren’t important?Bottom line, if you plan on hiring this company for your wedding, please don’t. Do not waste your time or money on a company that truly does not care. The wedding music should make you feel special, and this vendor treated us like a transaction rather than two people celebrating the most important day of our lives. Look for a company that goes beyond just playing music, or at least play the music you wanted them to play the whole time.In writing this review, we are prepared to receive a rude response from the owner. Don’t buy into it. Seriously look elsewhere, Dj services are a dime a dozen. Biggest mistake of our wedding was hiring this company.

They offer a range of services that you can tailor to fit the needs of your event. The services we chose for our wedding were: ceremony sound, DJ/MC, and uplighting. Everything went off without a hitch!Miles was our DJ/MC and he was an absolute blast. Not only was he extremely kind, funny, and professional - he kept the party going! Comment: Erick (DJ Envision) was very kind, friendly, and helpful from the very beginning, starting with our initial Zoom call. We really appreciated his patience and guidance throughout our song selection process that went through a few last minute changes, accommodating our western and Korean ceremonies, and all the specific songs and timing for them that I wanted for the pre-ceremony, the processional, and recessional - everything was so perfect. He knew exactly the party we wanted to have and delivered!We truly had the most amazing time dancing to his DJ mix. Comment: DJ’s are important at a wedding. The transitions from one activity to the next (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dancing). Wow, I can’t say this enough, Alex was perfect. He made people laugh, he had the smoothest transitions, and made the flow of our wedding flawless. We got so many compliments about how perfect the DJ was with keeping the flow and the life of the party alive. We selected a few songs for our wedding but Alex kept it alive the whole time. From dinner to the dance floor, when people started dancing they wouldn’t stop. during the initial interview, he knew exactly what to ask to give us the experience we were looking for, we couldn’t be happier with Alex as our DJ. We highly recommend Extreme DJ and Alex for any party you have.

I do not live in the area and hired them strictly off of other reviews; I could not be happier that I did! DJ Bert was AWESOME. He was professional, friendly, attentive and could easily read the room. We had very specific song timing requests for certain components of the ceremony and he nailed all of them without any issue at all. Bert put us at ease with his planning and perfect execution of the night.The Photo booth and videographer also were professional and reliable. They were great to work with and really were so easy that we did not have to do much while they took care of it all. He was very professional every time we talked with him and took the time to understand our vision and music taste. We wanted to do trivia to release the tables to the buffet and he executed it perfectly – a great mc and something we will remember for years to come. Comment: I used Extreme DJ Services for my wedding on 10/21/2023. They were a preferred vendor for my venue, and I am SO HAPPY I went with them. My initial contacts were with Eric, who provided a quote, was very help and informative with the questions I had, and he was ultimately the one who handled the contract signing, payments etc. We were assigned Jesse as our DJ, and we were very impressed with Jesse! We had a total of 3 meetings I believe, to discuss music, timeline, vibes for the day etc. He was fantastic to work with and was able to provide playlists for me to look through since I was struggling with music selection! My husband and I were both nervous about whether people would dance at the wedding, since weve been to other weddings were our guests did not dance. Our wedding exceeded all of our expectations of dancing, there were literally people on the dance floor all night!! It was a BLAST. Jesse was able to read the room and he put on music that drew our guests out onto the floor. It really was an amazing evening and we had so much fun!! Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend this company, especially Jesse but Ive heard great reviews about the other DJs too so I dont think you can go wrong!

He was easy to talk to and we could tell he was very experienced in what he did. Before the ceremony, we ended up telling him that we had a signal for ending the first dance with a kiss. He paid attention to it and ended it right on cue. We really appreciated his attention to detail and professionalism. He was helpful in explaining instructions to our bridal party even when everyone was getting carried away with the excitement. We described our goals for the wedding, which included having a fun dance floor with a range of music. He offered several DJs and their profiles. We selected Erick and we have no regrets. We set up a call two weeks before our wedding and went through our must play list, our song selections for the ceremony and reception, and how he could assist us in MCing the night. Comment: DJ Alex Espinosa was a consummate professional delivering the poise and enunciation we envisioned for our outdoor reception at Franciscan Gardens! His encouragement to the dance floor was answered happily by nearly our entire group. He met with us numerous times to get our ideas for the reception, and also sprinkled in suggestions; for example, we were not sure wed have wedding party entrances, and he suggested we include them. On the day of the wedding, he also checked-in with our wedding coordinator and wedding party several times to ensure everyone knew where to go and when to give their speeches. Everything was executed perfectly and he played our “must play” list as well as songs that got even the eldest crowd dancing. It was an absolute blast and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Comment: I honestly cannot describe how impressed I was with the DJ services we obtained for our wedding. From the amazing level of professionalism to just the detailed and personal touch that made it feel like he was one of our loved and invited guests who just happened to be DJing lol! his mannerism and smile made us and everyone feel comfortable with approaching him for requests or just to say thank you. His patience during the speech ceremony was great (the bride and groom kept cutting out to go use the restroom lol), the mic levels were great, and it never felt like people couldnt hear anybody. Really appreciate his ideas on the setup from where we imagined he would be setting up, he was extremely flexible throughout the whole ceremony. Comment: We contacted Extreme DJ Services and met with Kyle Allen about our wedding in February in La Jolla (Martin Johnson House). We really liked Kyles vibe and communication, so we hired them and are very glad we did! Kyle was on an extended vacation in the month before our wedding but he told us about this and met with us before he left to get everything set up beforehand. He explained how everything would work and asked what we wanted, and in the end we made some Spotify playlists for him to reference, one for cocktail hour and one for open dancing. We told him we trusted his judgment on what to play for the crowd, and we were so happy with the music! The mood and energy were great, everyone had so much fun dancing and we just wish the reception could have lasted longer! Kyle did a great job emceeing as well. He had a very positive, patient, and agreeable attitude throughout all our interactions and the event itself. Thank you Kyle! Very reasonably priced packages, we highly recommend Extreme DJs!

Comment: I booked Extreme DJ Service for my wedding based off their 5 star reviews, but unfortunately my experience was not as great as the others. My wedding was beautiful, but I am quite regretful that my guests walked away talking about how bad the DJ was. I was willing to look past some miscommunication (that eventually got sorted out with Eric) and some oversight on their end (they forgot to assign a DJ to my wedding so they had to do this last minute.) The three star rating is solely based on the actual service at the event. Even with very clear instructions, song requests, and overall vibe checks that were shared with the DJ prior to the wedding, our DJ just wasnt a good fit for our party. Unfortunately, we just got a little unlucky, but hopefully others can vouch for the company.

He worked really well with us and our coordinator with great communication both before and during the event. He was really receptive of the kind of vibe we were going for since we knew wed have no issue getting people up on the dancefloor and meshed really well! Picking music was really easy on their client portal putting in songs that were Must Haves and Do Not Play. After our conversations over the phone and using the portal, the music Alex curated was amazing and the guests were complimenting the music choices all night. Comment: I would love to shout from the rooftops to tell anyone planning a wedding how amazing DJ Eric Morales is. Professional, kind, and responsive during the planning process, Eric then proceeded to FAR exceed our expectations the night of. There were zero issues with the sound. The dance floor was never empty. He balanced oldies, with pop, with rock, etc.! We received so many compliments about the DJ/music - he took our recommendations and then added to them! Further, I messed up the ending time - thinking we ended at 11:30 but our contract said 11 and Eric agreed to stay a few extra minutes for us! I can not recommend him enough. He was worth every penny and more!!

As stressful as weddings can be this definitely added to that stress. We called around to a few places to see if anyone could do it on short notice. We got in contact with Eric who was very professional and helpful. Within a few short moments he said they could Dj for our special day. Huge Relief! Art is the one who ended up doing the Dj for our wedding! He was excellent, and didn’t skip a beat. Comment: We loved our experience working with Extreme DJ Service. Eric was very personable and communicative upon first emails and stayed that way through the process. Keith was our wedding DJ and was absolutely AMAZING- such a nice guy, and the music was impeccable. We had a full and fun dance floor! We had so many guests tell us how much fun they had, and even the parents who usually don’t dance got down on the dance floor! Seriously, not one but two times we had the whole room singing every lyric to Backstreet Boyss I Want It That Way and The Killerss Mr. Brightside? Absolute FIRE! Ive been to a number of weddings, and Im not trying to be biased towards ours...but our weddings dance floor was the most fun Ive ever experienced and Keith was the best DJ I’ve ever come across. After talking to friends of ours who had recently gotten married, they also used Extreme DJ and were extremely happy with the service they provided. Eric spoke to my husband and I for almost 30 minutes. It was important to my husband that we be able to have some control/say over what songs were played. Eric assured us that we could send him a list and the whole evening could be songs that we requested if that was our wish. My only request is that he keep people on the dance floor and thats exactly what he did. Often times, you hear weddings and events being too long. The day after my wedding, I received so many messages that included I had so much fun dancing and wish the wedding was an hour longer. That is the best compliment a couple (and DJ) could received. Full stop.Excess Details- The DJ is the primary driver of the atmosphere and flow of the wedding so--imo--its one of the most important roles in a wedding. I spent weeks doing research & vetting different vendors for this reason, and ultimately landed w/ Alex (Espinosa) at Extreme DJ.In the months leading up to the wedding, Alex eased fears in various areas, asked critical questions we hadnt thought of, and assured he would take care of blind spots. He did. He offered several small ideas/tricks that ended up changing how the entire reception felt (tricks withheld here out of respect for his service). Huge difference. We even had custom requests that required extra coordination from him- executed perfectly.He showed up early on the day of and got our officiant all set up. Zero audio failures. Zero missed/cringey transitions during the ceremony. He was clear in directing guests, relaying upcoming events, and announcing people. He steered the proverbial ship through every event flawlessly- all without ever stealing the show (like Ive seen many DJs do before).To top it off, the dancing part was arguably his specialty. Give him a spotify playlist and let him make the call on what gets played when. I thought about putting them in an order we wanted but ran out of time. Glad I did. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our original wedding date from October 2020 to our new date, but Extreme DJ Service made it such an easy transition.First off, his DJ skills were spot on, and he was able to read the crowd to play just what everyone wanted to hear and dance to. Our dance floor did not stop all night and he had the perfect mix of songs to keep the dance floor going. For planning he had this awesome, easy-to-use music tool that helped him gauge what kind of music we were interested in and special requests for the formal dances, ceremony, etc. He played all of our songs that we requested for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was the perfect MC, making sure he pronounced all of the wedding party’s names correctly, making sure the crowd knew what was going on, and keeping the enthusiasm up throughout the night.When all of the stress of wedding planning started to build up, talking to Eric helped calm our nerves and we knew that this was the best decision. We did not hire a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, and Eric made everything run completely smooth, working with the venue and even the photographer and videographer. Even when our timeline started to run behind, he consulted with us, came up with a game plan, and got everything moving without a hitch. We also added on rented uplights from Extreme DJ Service a week before the wedding and they were able to accommodate. It was the best decision because all of the lights were coordinated to the music.The administrative aspect was so easy. Contracts were updated and available on the portal right away. They had multiple payment options. We decided to pay through Venmo and got a receipt confirmation for every payment. Prior to the wedding, he was so helpful with figuring out our timeline and gave great suggestions on how best to keep the day running smoothly. And then on our wedding day he was so good at making sure everything was on task. I’m a worrier about those kinds of things, but he made it such a relaxing and enjoyable night! The music was great and he kept everyone out on the dance floor and made sure to play all the suggestions I had given him. He was incredibly professional, but also a super fun and entertaining guy! Comment: Though Im late in posting this (I blinked and all of a sudden its been a few months since I got married!), this review NEEDS to be written. I cant accurately convey through words how grateful I am for Extreme DJ Services, nor can I for how wonderful they really are. Ten days before my wedding, my DJ bailed. My budget was already really tight as it was and a coworker offered to DJ our wedding for free because he knew our money struggles. My need for not going horribly over budget won over my common sense of not hiring a professional. Because we were so close to the wedding, I was frantic. I reached out to as many people as I could find on WeddingWire, but most were either already booked or more expensive than I could afford (ten days out from the wedding, my entire wedding budget was already allocated, with very little wiggle room). And then I got a response from Extreme DJ Services. They felt bad for me and offered a package that would still allow me to pay rent after my wedding!! Long story short, they saved our wedding. And not only that, the DJ they gave us was incredible. I owe them ten days of horrible stress that I DIDNT have to endure because besides running a successful business, theyre also incredible human beings for helping out a panicked bride a week before her wedding. Comment: Overall DJ Gabe is who made my experience with this company great. After you communicate with the office via email, they will assign you a DJ. From there, you communicate with the DJ. I met with Gabe and discussed what I envisioned for my wedding. He provided great feedback as to what he suggested for each song and insight into how the weddings schedule typical goes. Out of all the vendors I used, he was the most helpful in creating an expectation for the itinerary of the day.... Which really settled my mind and helped with my expectations.Now the day of the wedding, I barely spoke to him! Which believe it or not is a good thing- not because he wasnt attentive but because he knew what he was doing and had everything taken care of. He kept the day moving according to schedule. Since our photographer took up the majority of our time at the wedding, we didnt get a lot of time to dance and enjoy the music- although our guests definitely did!!! I am mostly thankful for his time management skills- If it werent for him, our entire wedding may have been spent taking photos!!! We provided our own playlist and he did an excellent job improvising, but maintaining the mood we were looking for. I left it up to him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss and he nailed it! We contacted them a little less than a year before our wedding (7/16/16) to inquire about their services and from the very start, Eric and Extreme DJ were professional, responsive, and you can see they genuinely care about their clients!Eric wanted to meet with us face to face to go over our wedding and the details as well as have a creativity talk about the feel we wanted for the night. Since we live pretty far from OC and our schedules were nuts, he met with us over Skype! He spent a little more than an hour talking to us and getting to know us! I always tell my brides one thing that I really like about this company is that Extreme DJs have a lot of DJs to choose from. Leading up to our event, my husband and I didnt a clue as to how to organize our reception activities. We decided to forego a wedding planner and day of coordinator, so Erics expertise in how to throw a reception was perfect for us. The music he selected met the mood of each stage of the reception. As soon as the cocktail hour began I could hear my guests start to party. Comment: Extreme DJ Service was the best investment we made for our daughters Quinceanera party. They are very professional and it showed from the initial contact with Eric Morales to the wrapping up of the event by the DJ Tony Zambrana. I made a mistake and gave them the wrong date for the event, but they were still very cool about working with us and making the event fun and enjoyable for everyone. Extreme DJ has a large selection of DJs of which Eric Morales is very aware of their strength and recommends the DJ which he thinks will work best for your party. We got a lot of compliments on the great job Tony Zambrana did for the party and there were several people that wanted his information to book him for their future parties.

Comment: I am from out of town so was very nervous about selecting the right wedding vendors. Extreme DJ was fantastic! Thomas did our wedding and we couldnt have asked for better. He was great about speaking to us before the event and did an amazing job the day of. We only had 30 guests and Thomas did a great job getting the party started and keeping it going.

Comment: We used Extreme Dj Service for our wedding a few weeks ago and they were fabulous. I interviewed quite a few djs for our wedding and they were by far the most professional and came highly recommended. Eric played everything we asked for and was excellent at reading the crowd. He was very good at keeping people on the dance floor. He played a few songs I didnt even think of that really got everyone going. Comment: Gabe, the DJ for my wedding reception, is a great DJ and communicator. I was very specific at which songs and in what order I wanted them to be played and he accommodated my request. He sent a timeline as to the specific order and times songs were to be played for me to review and was prompt at making the edits I indicated. During the wedding, he communicated with me so that I could agree to when certain songs should be played. There were no surprises! In addition, Gabe made me 2 labeled copies cd’s of all my song choices for my beautiful wedding memories. I would happily hire him again and absolutely recommend Gabe for a DJ!

Comment: I would highly recommend using Extreme DJ. We used them for our wedding reception in Laguna Beach and had Eric Morales as our DJ. Eric sat down with us and mapped out a timeline for our wedding and had helpful suggestions, being our wedding didnt include a lot of things the traditional reception does. We were able to request as many songs as we wanted, and Eric took care of finding all of them. He dealt directly with our venue, and we never had to worry about anything not being taken care of. Eric knew how to get the dance floor going, and our friends are still telling us how much fun our DJ was!

Comment: We had our wedding last week and we had an amazing experience working with Extreme DJ.Everyone we were in touch with was extremely professional. Eric Morales, the managing partner, really worked with our budget and was really responsive in answering all of our questions. Our contract was clear and everything was on the up and up.Thomas Whitlock, our DJ for our wedding was amazing! He totally got the theme we were going for even though it was a little non-traditional. He was so professional: dressed sharply, was early to set up and worked so well with my uncle who was the MC for the night. We got so many compliments on the music. Thomas was also great at coaching us through the night. My uncle told me he really appreciated Thomass advice since it was my uncles first time as an MC. I also thought Thomas was really good with all the little details too. For instance, when it was time for the bouquet toss he coached me to fake the first toss to psych the girls out...it turned out so cute! He even played the song that my dad used to propose to my mom with! That was amazing! They really loved it! Thomas even brought his own lighting too! That surprised me since we were on a budget and couldnt afford it, but he just surprised us with it anyways!Long story short, Thomas was an amazing DJ that really set the right tone for our reception and Extreme DJ Services was great and always easy to work with!

The DJ came very prepared, went well with the flow of the event but took control when needed. Extreme DJ exceeded our overall expectations. 10/10. Would use again.

Comment: Really good DJ company. Our DJ was Eric who looked like Pit Bull when he walked up in his glasses. He did a great job of keeping the energy up and the guests involved. They were easy to work with and their price was reasonable. If you are having an event you cant go wrong with these guys

Comment: Needed a DJ for my wedding. Usually the wedding process is so annoying dealing with vendor after vendor. Photo, flowers, cakes, Dj, and on and on but these guys were very easy to work with from the beginning. The price was very fair and when it came time for the wedding we were very happy with the whole experience. The DJ kept the flow of the reception so It didnt drag on. The music selection was spot on, since we had a very diverse group ranging from older to younger, ethnic to no so much, he had to please everyone. Overall my wife and I were happy with our selection and would recommend them

Comment: We initially spoke with Eric who matched us with DJ Envision who’s name is also Erick.Everyone is so nice and easy to talk to.Erick Figueroa was amazing. He took so much stress away from us because he already knew the flow of the Hacienda. When we didn’t know what song to play for certain moments he had playlist ready for us to choose from which was so helpful. When talking to him on the phone, he is super friendly easy to talk to. On wedding day we took to long greeting tables so last minute we cut out the money dance and garter toss because we wanted to dance and enjoy the night. Erick was adaptive and made our night seamless. We also had a salsa band and they worked well with one another. Erick coordinated really well with them to know when they are taking breaks. Erick Transitioned from band to DJ amazingly there was no awkward silence. We had an amazing night on the dance floor. Erick is professional and knew the vibes we were going for. I would use him or extreme DJ again for another event or definitely recommend him. Thank you so much for everything truly made our day memorable.
