Their new (to-me) space is large, bright, colorful and includes a big outdoor patio to enjoy their delicious, Filipino-inspired desserts and beverages.I love Creme Caramel LA. There are so many things to love about them.Their deserts are creative, delicious and they have rotating, unique flavors as well as their classics. They specialize in custard/flan style desserts but they dont stop there. They also have amazing cheesecakes, bread puddings, bars, cookies, cakes, pies and more! They even have a fun unicorn poop item (spoiler, its a meringue cookie).They dont stop at dessert though! They also have some savory brunch style items and a full cafe menu. Besides the variety, I also appreciate how each item is packaged as a single serving. It lets me order a variety of things to try since I can never pick just one.The staff and owner are some of the friendliest people youll ever meet. They are kind, generous and care about their wonderful, small business and community. The owners are from the Philippines and they use their cultural history to inspire exciting new flavors like the Calamansi Cheesecake.I wish I could stop by more often. I used to live really close to their Valley shop but moved out of the area. They have lots of street parking available as well as a small parking lot. If you are looking for fun, original desserts, they are worth checking out!(side note, their receipt spells it “Grey” and I’m Canadian so I’m sticking with it!)

Comment: Had a good experience! We picked a random desert place and found a gem 💎 ✨️. Many of their pastries and bread puddings are inspired by Filipino deserts, but they have a great range of desserts for people not interested in the Filipino influence either. I tried the Nutella and banana bread pudding. The lady behind the counter offered to heat it up for us and that was a great idea! The bread pudding was heavy enough to satisfy my appetite and it packed a lot of flavors that I needed. I paired it up with their Ube Horchata Latte (cold) with a shot of espresso. 👨🏽‍🍳🤌🏼❣️Because they had so many options, I will definitely be coming back. I will update when I do.

The Lady Grey and vanilla custards were amazing, the bread pudding was very good (might be my fault as I tried it cold). The pastries, I would say, is were this establishment suffers. The coffee cake was great. The pandesals were nothing but bread. I got the strawberry cream cheese and cookie lady. Other than what was on top, it tasted like a solid biscuit. The beef and pork empanadas, while tasty, were almost all bread. I would say they had maybe a teaspoon or two of filling for a decent sized empanada.The place itself, while nice on the inside, suffers from most LA establishments. The place is small so seating is mainly outside. The transient presence is also off putting, again, not the establishments fault. Again, however, inside was spotless and very clean and inviting.The place had wonderful staff.It is great for a flan/custard sweet tooth fix and to wash it down with great coffee, but the pastries arent the greatest. I also did not try the other savory dishes like the quiches, so I cannot comment on them.Definitely worth trying at least once.

Sadly, it took us a while before we got there.Our first visit was great, the lady that helped us was very helpful and friendly. Our order was kind of long.1. Ube Cheesecake: this stands out to me as my favorite. There was a pause after I had it, it was that good. My old boss always made fun of that moment when I was so into what I was eating that I just stayed quite. It was sweet, creamy and delicious.2. Pecan Crackle: this had an amazing flavor and terrific texture.3. Oreo butter Bar: this was truly enjoyable and perfect for any Oreo fan. I definitely will have more of those in the future.4. Strawberry Panna Cotta: this was creamy and delicious.5. Lemon Bar: this was another stand out. I would definitely have this again.6. Oreo Cheesecake: true Oreo bliss.7. Oatmeal Raisin cookies: Oatmeal Raisin are one of my favorite cookies. These truly did not disappoint.8. Ube Horchata: this was the first time I had Ube horchata and I definitely recommend it.9. The dough to meat ratio is ridiculous. 3/4 of the empanada is dough and because there is so much dough the empanadas are not cooked all the way through.The lady who seemed like the owner toasted them up for me and i had the first one which had some spinach inside, the inside of the dough was completely raw and i could just taste the raw dough.I thought it was just the one. I tried the rest, they are exactly the same, the ones with meat inside of them are way too overly salted and its just a really horrible experience.I think this store has the sweet part down but their savory selections are just absolutely unworthy of being on display, i guess thats why they shoved those empanadas in the bottom right corner.

It’s pretty rad to have a modern twist to Filipino desserts, especially taking the healthy approach! The vegan coconut corn pudding without the chia and the vegan chocolate pan de sals are my go-to since they have no dairy and aren’t that sweet, but still scrumptious. They have a rewards system and friendly gals that work there too! Note- it’s not 100% like the traditional Filipino Mom’s way of baking, but that’s what makes it special, with the hint of nostalgic Filipino childhood haha. One of a kind bakery

Whenever I have cravings for something sweet or something hot Ive started making this my go-to place. In addition to the excellent coffee, they have a myriad of delicious confections. My favorite so far is the Choc*Nut Cheesecake, which is malty, nutty, sweet and tangy. Its up there with some of the best cheesecake Ive ever had. Their Halo Halo creme caramel is terrific, as well. Staff is friendly and swift. Comment: This small shop comes with big surprises. The specialty is custard infused with different flavors. Some flavors are from the Filipino making for some unique tastes. My first time there and the staff invited me to taste the different flavors of custard. I settled on having the bread pudding that comes with a caramel sauce. It’s served warm and flavor is well balanced. They also serve a Spanish tortilla, and cakes.

Comment: The espresso was nice and strong. The place is a custard desert and coffee cafe. With vegan options. I ordered the vegan coconut pie. It was really good. I also ordered the regular upside down custard pie. And it was absolutely delightful.

Comment: Went here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The blueberry coffee cake was very moist and the topping was great, wish there were some more blueberries throughout but that wasnt a big deal. The quiche was well balanced and had a great buttery, flakey crust. Rich flavors from the cheese and bacon made it an ideal savory quiche. The only issue with it was that it wasnt heated all the way through. Although I have some complaints I would definitely come back here again.

Comment: This place is amazing!! Soooo good and the staff is so helpful...always explaining what the different cuatards are, making sure they are aware of any allergies you may have and always offering samples so you know exactly what you are getting. I wish there was one closer to me in OC.

Comment: Creme Caramel is basically flan, but much more creamy and delicious. At Creme Caramel LA, they make all sorts of unique flavors. The flavors rotate so you can always try new ones each time. I especially enjoy the pandan flavor but will come back for the Thai tea creme caramel soon.They are very much known for their bread pudding. I purchased the sea salt caramel bread pudding, which is their most popular item, but someone at work ate it so I still have yet to try it. They give you heating instruction and also the caramel sauce on the side to drizzle over.The mini pies are also delicious. I had the ube pie and it was heavenly. The crumb was so yummy and had the perfect texture.They are super nice and will allow you to sample a spoon of everything they have that day. Each dessert ranges from $4.50 - $5.50 in price so its definitely not cheap. If you buy 4 items, you get $2 off. They also have coffee and a small sandwich selection.The owner is Filipino, hence all the unique flavors. They are also at different farmers markets everyday since thats how they got started. The store has only been opened for 3 months.There is parking in the back lot but no entrance through the back area. You have to walk around the building but we cut through the laundromat to save some time.

Comment: There is a display case of different kinds of desserts, majority of them are Filipino desserts flavors, like ube and Buko Pandan. You can ask to sample the variety of flavors they have for the Creme Caramel. They also serve hot & cold beverages, vegan custards, spanish tortilla, pot pie, cookies, cakes, and pudding, etc.~Drinks~The Watermelon Agua Fresca tasted like a mixture of watermelon and lime. There are also bits of watermelon pieces.~Desserts~I took the Vanilla Bread Pudding home, it came with a side of vanilla syrup. The following day I warmed it up in the oven for a few minutes. When it was ready, I poured the syrup on top. I took my first bite and I was surprised about how good it tasted especially eating it the following day. The vanilla sauce was sticky, thick and not too sweet; I liked it a lot! I also got the Vanilla Creme Caramel, it was silky, smooth, and the sweetness was just right. They serve pastries from France Bakery. I got the Chocolate Croissant which I also warmed up the next day, it was a little dry.~Highlight~I want more Vanilla Bread Pudding!~Customer Service~Very helpful and friendly. They happily answered all our questions.~Note~~Creme Carmel Flavors: Ube, Coffee, Green Tea White Chocolate, Buko Pandan, Lady Grey, Vanilla~Catering Menu Available~Street Parking~They can warm up your bread pudding, it takes 10 minutes.
