Comment: Fast, clean and reliable. It was a little difficult to find, but its in a kind of small shopping center. We dropped off our things there in the morning, about 4 kg of laundry, and had it delivered to the hotel at 8 p.m. that evening. Everything was cleanly washed, dried and ironed. I would do it again at any time.

Comment: I was flying from the UK, I was only going to be in San Francisco for 2 days and on Sunday I had to fly to Las Vegas to get married so I needed the suits ironed. I contacted Normalt by email a few days before and he was very kind, he even offered to open the store earlier so that I could leave my suits and arrive on time for an tour that I had booked. When I got to my hotel after enjoying the city all day, my suits were already there, perfectly ironed. Thank you very much for your help!!

Comment: We were on holidays in San Francisco and were on our second week of holidays. We had some washing needed done. The Man and Woman who own the business couldn’t have done a better job. Everything was done quickly and delivered to our hotel, I can’t recommend enough. Thanks a lot.

Comment: A great option for laundry while on vacation! The wash & fold service was very reasonable and I had no trouble meeting the 10 lb minimum. The owner was very friendly and set us up with same day service, delivered to our hotel for only $5.

Comment: I needed to do laundry during my vacation to San Francisco. We dropped off clothes to be washed in the morning and they delivered to my hotel in the afternoon. Quick service and reasonable prices. 10lb minimum was easy to reach (my family of 4 adults had double that) and not unreasonable. Great alternative to packing enough clothes for 2 weeks and cheaper than checking an extra bag on the plane.

I highly recommend these guys if you want high quality, friendly service. Side note, I dry clean with them just about weekly ;)

Comment: I have been going to Bay Cleaners for all of my dry cleaning and tailoring needs for more than five years - whether living in North Beach or other regions of SF, a few miles away. The owner and staff have nothing short of impeccable, personal customer service and return clothes in a timely fashion. I have a demanding professional career, and don’t have the time to worry if my clothes will be misplaced, unclean, simply lost, take ample amount of time to be ready, etc., and I have never encountered any of these situations in my entire duration as a customer, which I find quite rare for dry cleaning services these days. If you’re looking for a one-stop shop where you know your clothes will be handled with care and an excellent team of people who are truly always at your service and incredibly kind, I hands down recommend going to Bay Cleaners every single time! You will not be disappointed - instead, you’ll end up worry-free re: your dry cleaning needs, be a returning and ongoing customer regardless of where you live (like me!), and develop a few great friendships in the process.

Comment: Love these folks. One time I left a couple of dollars in my pocket, and when I picked up my dry clean, they handed it out to me. They told me they check the pockets first anyway before the wash. That was some honest workers on the block. More the reason to support small local businesses. Highly recommended

Comment: Ive had good experiences each time Ive dropped my dry cleaning off here. Super convienent loxation for the North Beach neighborhood and for those shopping at Safeway or Walgreens. Nolmark is kind and helpful - he even remembered my name even after just my first visit. He also always gives us a call once the dry cleaning is done. They have a nice speedy option for next day as long as your clothes are dropped off by noon. I would recommend checking out the place for yourself before being deterred by the negative reviews below!

Comment: They didnt tell me they charge for a minimum of 10 lb of cloth before I was ready to pay (I actually had 5 lb only). Although they have not ruined my cloth as they did to other reviewers here, they are unprofessional and should be avoided.

Comment: Destroyed several hundred dollars worth of clothing including some items that had only been worn once. Clothing absolutely reeked of PERC and toxic chemicals. Two cashmere sweaters had holes in them and a pair of silk pants was completely torn (massive hole you could fit your head through) in the rear. Two blouses were covered in stains. I paid nearly $100 for dry cleaning. As soon as I got home and inspected the clothes I called to let them know of the egregious error. The owner told me to bring everything back to the store. I did so and he actually held my clothes hostage while berating me and cursing at me and punching the counter. I legitimately thought he was going to physically assault me. I am a female. I finally just left because it was not worth dealing with this irrational and emotionally unstable man (the owner). My credit card company reversed the charges, but unfortunately the damage to the clothing was not recouped and items are no longer wearable. The owner appears to be mentally unstable and they will ruin your clothing and insult you if you speak up about it. Seriously the worst and most terrifying experience I have ever had.

Comment: These people ruined my clothing, lied about it, and then insulted (cursing) me when I asked how it happened.I had never written a review of anything until now, but I had to share this. Absolutely pathetic. Dont make the same mistake I did.
