I called ten of the best rated places around town and these guys really stood out. First of all, Ali was incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and professional on the phone - going out of his way to give me his cell number and work with me to get everything right. On top of that he gave me a really fair and reasonable quote for the cleaning service (half the cost of another top rated business) and personally coordinated pickup and drop-off. The rug was returned to me right on schedule looking fantastic. They cleaned it exceptionally well, even hand-detailing the tassels while treating the fibers with care. However when rotated we needed to cut the carpet in a way that fit the layout and was tricky and required an expert to do it… was fortunate to find Babash who wasn’t afraid to tackle the challenge. They picked up the rug took it to their shop, made the cuts and now it fits perfect… great service/response/value.

Comment: I unfortunately had a bad experience with this company. First, they were late, and when I called to see why they hadnt showed up, they said they would be another 50 minutes. Then the price went up for one of the rugs by $128. He told me that I hadnt sent him photos, and then discovered I did. He told me that I hadnt told him that the rug was viscose and wool which is why it was now $576 for the rug, but he had recorded our conversation and it was clear that he knew if was indeed viscose and wool. I was wrong on the size as the rug was larger than what I estimated, but I had no qualms with that. He should have agreed to keep it at $3.50 a square foot for both rugs but he wouldnt budge. What a waste of my time and what a jerk. He justified the $576 dollars for the ONE rug because of $80 traveling fees and one hour cleaning fees. I know businesses need to make money, but Ali, the owner wouldnt concede that he knew the rug was viscose/wool and misquoted me.

Comment: I took a small rug to Babash Rug Services for cleaning. I knew nothing about the rug other than that my mother bought it is Damascus in 1958 and it has always been used in our houses. Ali identified the weaving as being from Hamadan, Iran—talk about knowing your stuff. The rug has survived kids, cookies, drink spills, toys, cats, and dogs. But it needed cleaning. Ali and his team did a wonderful job of bringing the colors back to life. As the rug is a little worn in some places, they suggested I hang it like a tapestry. Good idea. Everyone was friendly and nice and it was easy to tell they were experienced at their work and enjoy working with customers. So glad I found them. I have another larger Moroccan rug that I will take there for cleaning also this year. They do great work.

We own a hand made Persian rug from Isfahan and due to hot water leakage from unit upstairs, majority of the colors leaked through from one end of the rug to the other. After we took the rug to Babash Rug Services in Canoga Park, we were instantly at ease with the services and knowledge that they gave us about possible options to get our rug cleaned and restored to its original condition. Although at the current moment trying to go through insurance has been the longest process ever so we decided to hold off on getting the rug restored, but Babash Rug Services were really kind and generous in creating an appraisal report for us to submit to insurance in a effective timely manner. I would even like to point out that they were kind enough to wait to get paid for their appraisal report while we were still going through our insurance claim process. Comment: The gentlemen at Babash exceeded all of my expectations. I bought a white vintage Moroccan carpet online in need of lots of tlc. It had plenty of stains all over and a long tear down the middle. I was thinking it would improve after a good cleaning, and the guys at Babash assured it would, but I was not expecting it to come out this clean! The stains are gone and the tear looks like it never happened. I no longer need to strategically place the furniture to cover the flaws as planned....the stains are gone! 🙌 I highly recommend these guys!!

The gentleman who picked it up was polite, friendly, and super helpful in answering any questions I had regarding my rug and it being cleaned. They finished cleaning it and delivered it back to me in less than a week and it looked brand new! Their amazing and I highly recommend using this company! (This is different than carpet cleaning, and certainly not a job I would want to attempt myself.)I inherited a couple area rugs and found that the owners of Babash Rug Service really know what they are doing.... for many years. The rugs were cleaned 1.5 years ago and I was told on the living room rug (10X14) as hard as they tried they could not remove a spot (approximately 2X6 ) along the border could not be removed. In comes Babash Rug Service and low and behold AMAZING no spot or spots on any of the rugs. I am 100% satisfied with Babash from pickup to delivery I would rate it 6 stars if I could. Comment: These guys were great! Super friendly and helpful on the phone when I called beforehand to inquire about their services. They are a bit hard to find if bringing a rug to them for cleaning, but its much cheaper than having them come to you. They did a great job cleaning my vintage Chimayo rug and offered to spot treat it again after cleaning when there were residual traces of the stain. Very nice family run business, I would bring my rugs here again for cleaning.

Comment: Excellent work by Babash. We had a carpet stain that could not be removed by a conventional carpet cleaner. Babash said they could fix it but we were skeptical. They offered to test a small area for free, then we would choose whether to remove the whole thing.The test looked good, so we went for it. Now, you have to look really hard to see any trace of this dark red stain (artificial ketchup). In its place is the same bright color as the surrounding area. I don’t know where Babash got their magic wand but it sure works. They also measured and hand-cut some carpet pads for us at what we believe was a fair, even possibly low, price. I will go to no one else for any carpet repair or cleaning issues.

Comment: This place is fantastic. I bought a gorgeous rug from Restoration Hardware for my daughter’s room. After having it for 6 months or so sadly it was pretty worn. We have a small dog and though he’s house broken he has a sensitive stomach and unfortunately threw up on the rug a couple of times. I tried to scrub out the yellowish stains myself. I tried white vinegar and water (found this recommendation online) and even rented a professional carpet cleaner from Home Depot which seemed only to damage the rug further. I was convinced the rug was ruined but thought I’d make one last attempt to restore it. So glad I found Babash. I dropped off my rug and was seriously shocked when I picked it up a week later. It looked brand new! All surface stains were gone and the rug had a beautiful subtle sheen! I have a few other RH rugs in my home and will only trust them to Babash. Don’t even think about going anywhere else for rug cleaning.

Mr. Hafezi has been so meticulous in cleaning and repairing the rugs I’ve brought to him. The rugs ranged from High-end Persian Silk rugs, combination of wool and silk, antiques, Chinese, Moroccans, Indian, and Turkish rugs and Kilims. Some rugs I thought they were not worth cleaning, but very much liked their radiant color after the wash.The first time I brought him a rug that had not been cleaned for quite a while, when I returned to get it, I was shocked. I could not believe that my rug could look so clean and the colors be so vibrant.To top it all off, the price was fair, the staff were wonderful, and everything done promptly.I recommend you try it for yourself. I promise you will get hooked as I did.
