Comment: Prices keep going up up up here! The medium size washer recently went up to $4.50 and today it’s $5.50 and if you want hot water it’s $6!! Looks like I’ll be doing my laundry elsewhere.Also, if you’re gonna be doing extremely loud construction during business hours, you could at least offer a free dry.

Comment: This place is a joke. Its nice to have a laundry place close to your home. However this place always disappoints this will definitely be the last time to come here. Im writing this as I wait for my last 7 minutes on my 3 dryers that I have. Nothing works here the worst thing is the SERVICE they have their bill changer blocked I bought detergent and softener here. I already spent $20 washing I still had wet clothes (the dryers) do not work. I went to the ATM and got another $20 for change to continue drying. Mind you when I bought my stuff the lady gave me .75 cents in nikles and dimes .. really in a laundry mat where you mostly use quarters. Anyways the girl working here said she didnt have money to break the $20 tell me what am I supposed to do .... with my half dried clothes after spending money on the machines already. She insisted she couldnt help me. Im sorry but being from customer service. First you apologize for the inconvenience. And second you make something happen. Offer alternatives. Ok I will give you that she said change your $20 for all quarters. REALLY!!!!!!! I said forget it can you at least give me the .75 cents you gave me earlier in quarters. And she said yes .. I waited and she comes back and she says... I have $20 in ones. I said whaaat that is the answer you needed to give me when I first came to you.. I just demanded my 3 quarters and finished getting out of here. This is RIDICULOUS!!! Never again Desis. This place is always dirty too and no AC. Employees with nasty attitude. I tired of giving this place chances.

Comment: Don’t waste your time here there’s many other coin laundry’s in the area that are reliable and trustworthy.I suggest you update your operating hours. If it says you close at 12am you should actually close at 12am not say you closed at 1030 at 1040 when the place has multiple people washing and drying; coming in and out. The lady seemed overwhelmed and lazy. Get someone who is not miserable to work here is a second suggestion. Waste of time and I don’t see this business lasting long operating like this..

Comment: That Desis keeps taking peoples $ who are none the wiser their supposed warm and hot water washes are, in fact, cold is shameful.My request to receive 1/2 my money back ($2 for a $4.25 wash) when I selected hot water and the washer delivered only cold (the glass being cold on the front load gave it away) was reasonable. The attendant even acknowledged the water was cold, but refused to compensate me in any way. She said whether or not the washes have hot water depends on how many people are washing, but not even 1/3 of the washers were in use at the time.I asked to speak with the man who was taking quarters out of the machines (using a wheel barrel of buckets) and, after he felt the front of the washer I was using and other washers (while I waited 15 - 20 minutes), he talked to the attendant who then told me it is the owners policy they are allowed to put quarters in for a second wash when there isnt hot water. Well, first of all, why didnt she offer that solution at the time she acknowledged the hot water wash was cold!? But not helpful to me, in any case, as I only brought enough oxygenating bleach for my one load of whites. And, honestly, how many people are going to wait another 40 minutes while a single load washes again and the rest of their laundry is drying? Not me, and not many, as Im sure THEY KNOW.You also might want to consider that Desis used to keep the doors on both ends of the store open, which helped with air flow. Now one of the doors is always closed and locked, which, besides keeping it very hot in there, is a safety issue in the event of an emergency, earthquake, etc.

This is ridiculous, I shouldve just gone to the 24hr laundry mat down the street. Comment: Half the washing machines stink inside. The other half dont work. Drying is expensive and the drying machines only have two settings burn clothes and damp. The only things that keep me coming back is the massage chair and how conveniently close it is to my house. Dont get me started with the customer service.

Comment: As I walked in I really liked how clean this place was. It was pretty empty when I went and I was in and out in 2 hrs.I initially came here because I thought it was Free Dry, it is not.To dry it is 0.25 cents for 4 min. (Took me about $1.50 for my clothes to fully dry)Washing machines are fairly priced compared to other laundromats I’ve gone in the area, it also felt more safe as well.

Comment: This is my first time going to Desi‘s laundromat. I will admit this that washing machines are quite different. The only thing I had an issue with was the dryer it took me at least four times to dry my clothes, and I was not very happy about it, that this took me longer than usual. Whoever is in charge of this place, they need to fix the dryer’s. I don’t know if there’s an issue with it I don’t know, but this needs to be fixed. I had a problem whenever I am trying to get through with all my clothes in my personal items no one will get out of my way. I’m never coming back here again.

Comment: This is horrible.I put in a 20 dollar bill in the bill changer machine and it gave me back $6 dollars! I asked for help and they told me to leave my name and number so I can get a call back?! I need to do my laundry!!! Ohh my heart! I just cant believe they wont just look at the cameras verify and give me my change or my original bill back. Im on a tight budget I cant take out another $20 right now. Im crying right now. Comment: Needed to wash a comforter. Came here at 7 pm on a Sunday. It was fairly busy.This wash n fold is very clean, helpful staff, and has a security guard at the door. Parking available right in front too. (Cost for the “mega load” tha my inbred to fit a queen size synthetic comforter cost to wash $7.25, and to dry cost $0.25/14 mins, so roughly less than $10). Not bad. Also i felt pretty safe, and there weren’t any sketchy people. In fact, I feel the others doing laundry there too were very polite.

Comment: The reason for this low rating is because the staff is very rude and it was not like that before, I went about three weeks ago and the cleaning girl made all the dust on my clean clothes and I told her that it was not possible for her to do that when I was folding my clothes and also his word or his response was For the other one, move, the truth is I understand that it is his job but I am paying to use the services there and that is what the job gives him and there was another person washing and he commented that the same thing had happened to him a week ago and that the girl acted as if she didnt care. The truth is, the owner has to have a complaints box since we are his consumers.

Comment: 9/13/20: Called three times letting it ring at least a dozen times (third time it clicked and abruptly stopped?) to make sure they were open because I didn’t want to drive over there and find it closed (because of pandemic). They’re usually pretty responsive, helpful and friendly, not today?! I will still go by and wash later, actually I wanted to go earlier at 7am (I called before 7am). I will casually ask what time they opened this morning. Great place, but it can get too crowded and they’re pretty stingy with their change machine, they’ll “run over” and watch you make change - strange, but it’s their business. So far it’s good, but things change...

Comment: Rude employees, I had never have labeled a liar and blocked from the exit. Your security got in front of me and would not let me out of the laundry, at the same time two lady employees demanded to give them my leftover quarters. Its a shame to say my family frequents this laundry due to location convenience, but we are going to look for another options. Please beware,although the laundry is in good working conditions the employees are not able to manage themselves and can get hostile. Really bad experience would DEFINITELY not recommend it to anyone else.

Comment: I am a student, I come here alot, one day I put an extra quarter for extra time, but the machine took the quarter without giving me extra time.I told one of the employees and she was extremely Rude, she did not give me her name, but the case was she did not want to refund my quarter back and she is an awful employee not giving great customer service. Hope you may resolve this.

She treated me as if I’m a homeless begging for money. She made me want to cry and never want to come back again. The worst laundromat experience. I wish you got fired soon. Extremely unfriendly, unkind and racist experience. Please do not subscribe this laundromat and advocate this staff to be fired.

Comment: Clean and above all (As a night time laundromat goer AKA between midnight and 5am), SAFE. parking is big and free, and theres a 7/11 next door on the same lot if you need drinks or snacks. Their laundry products are somewhat cheap, and they are always on stock. Ladies working there are courteous and helpful and always in attendance even late at night. Oh theres also a full body massage chair lol PS: AGAIN, KEEP IN MY I AM TALKING ABOUT MY NIGHT TIME EXPERIENCE AT THIS PLACE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE DAYTIME SO I CANT SPEAK FOR THAT. Comment: The dryer at my apartment constantly breaks down before I have to leave for work. I live near by and Im able to finish everything in time for work. The place is very clean. Theres a 711 next door. This is the only laundromat Ive been to and I feel the prices are great.

Comment: Very clean laundromat. Great selection of washers at fair prices. The dryers actually dry your clothes. I go around 3 in the morning and the lady working the overnight shift doesnt stop working and making sure the place is spotless and safe. I was pleasantly suprised with this laundromat. I take the bus 3 & 1/2 miles to this laundromat because I feel its just the best option to do your laundry in Los Angeles.

Comment: This laundromat has everything you need. You can buy laundry detergent or you can pop into the 7-Eleven on the left to purchase some. There is an ATM and change machine. All the machines work and if it doesnt, they let you know with a sign that says Out of Order. They do not have single load watching machines. The smallest is a double load. They had triple, quadruple and the maximum I believe was up to 5 loads machines available.

The big machines are close to 9 dollars the medium ones 6 the smallest one are 2.00 and the dryers yeah .25 cents but they reduce the minutes so you have to dry for about 1 dollar depending on your loads. The price increase its too much.

Also have 30 pounds to 50 pound dryers for only $.25. The floor and machines looked very clean as well as all the surfaces. They have a bill to bill exchanger as well as a bill to coin machine for free. They have vending machines inside or if you want something more theres a 7-Eleven right next-door which is very convenient. Cant wait to come back!

Comment: I was very impressed by Desis, its hard to find such a clean coin laundry in Los Angeles. Open 7 days a week, from 6a-midnight, which is great for those who work or go to school late. The staff is friendly, there is free WiFi ( look to the wall for the password), a coffee maker and televisions. Washers of 90lb capacity and 50lb dryers. They also offer a fluff and fold service for $1/lb, with a $15 minimum. Service is same day if dropped off early, next day if dropped off in the middle of the day or later. Overall this is a highly recommended lavanderia if you live or work in the 90006 neighborhood.

Comment: Desis is, by leaps and bounds, the best laundomat/lavanderia/whatever you like to call them Ive been to in Los Angeles!It seems crazy to have so much good to say about just a place to do laundry but its so clean and has FREE WiFi that it really is worth spreading the word. Its not in my home neighborhood, but nevertheless when Im on this side of town visiting my gram, this is going to be my go-to place. Once again, the free wifi alone is amazing, but theres also huge folding section, the place is extremely clean and plenty of machines to go around. Big plus for me was the WiFi password being up on a wall, instead of me having to hunt an employee down (had to do that at a laundry in Pasadena).Fluff and fold service is also available for a very reasonable price, $1/lb and ready within about 6 hours. Nothing bad to say here, definitely the best coin laundry in Los Angeles Ive been to!Theyre located at 2377 W Pico Blvd in the 90006
