Comment: Excellent and fast service! The day before Thanksgiving, my dog had diarrhea on my down comforter. I called Berkland Cleaners when they opened and explained the situation, asking if they had a rush service because I dont own another blanket. They not only finished cleaning my comforter the same day, I received a text message notifying me when it was ready to pick up, and there was no additional charge! Other cleaners I called said that Monday would be the soonest (due to the holiday), and quoted me higher prices as well. Would definitely use Berkland Cleaners again!

Comment: They removed a stain from a silk dress that I thought was a lost cause! My expectations were low since this was a 2 year old stain that had previously been dry cleaned elsewhere with no success. But Berkland masterfully removed it without damaging the material! Mike said his first attempt didn’t work and asked to keep the dress for a few extra days so he could try again. Plus they didn’t charge me for the extra work!

Comment: The only cleaners I will go to! They’ve removed impossible stains and smells from a down jacket and silk comforter, meaning cat pee. And they do it with less harmful methods than most dry cleaners. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are nice too.

Comment: I never write reviews but feel compelled to express my gratitude here. I had taken my vintage wedding dress to be dry cleaned ELSEWHERE. Long story short, other place that won’t be named shrunk my dress! In a state of desperation, I took it to Berkland. After several fittings and much patience on their behalf, they miraculously stretched the dress back to perfection. They were incredibly sweet throughout the process, and charged me so little that I had to force a tip upon them. These people are angels.

Comment: From my research, this is the only place in the East Bay (?) that does ACTUAL green, eco-friendly and non-toxic wet cleaning. Ive dropped off everything from fine silk and cashmere clothing to cotton shirts, wool blazers. Everything is returned to me fresh with new life. The owners and customer service are wonderful. Truly a cleaners fit for the 21st century. Theyre worth their weight in gold.

Comment: This review is long overdue: I brought my trench coat here to be dry cleaned because it was so highly rated. My trench coat was a little dirty on my belt and along the edges and ends on my jacket. When I got my jacket back the stains where gone but there was a bleach stain right next to my collar. What’s crazy is the lady at the counter put stickers next to the spots that needed to be cleaned and I ended up with this discoloration on my coat. Now my trench coat I bought in another country that fit me perfectly is ruined and I have to buy a new trench coat that doesn’t have a visible discoloration mark on it!

Comment: This is the very best cleaner and alteration place. Cannot recommend highly enough! The customer service is above and beyond. Prices are reasonable and the alterations are top notch. Super honest and friendly. I brought in a silk top that I thought was stained but she told me that the dye was running and therefore could not be cleaned. (Most places would just take your money and “clean” it anyway)Love that they are organic and green - no harsh chemicals!I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to bring all my dry cleaning and alterations here! 11/10.

Comment: I have brought in dry cleaning (mostly cashmere sweaters), chinos with stubborn pen ink stains to be removed, and small rips in wool/jersey fabric for repair. The folks here do everything PERFECTLY. Theyve gotten stubborn oil stains out of things I had given up on. They are clear about turnaround times (usually about a week for me), charge extremely reasonable prices, and return everything looking incredible. Once I brought in a small run in a dress to be repaired and they didnt charge me. I love it here and will go out of my way to come back.

Comment: I was trying on my tuxedo for my wedding and some navy dye transferred from a hat I was wearing to the collar of my white shirt and white blazer. As soon as I saw the stains I knew I had to find someone to clean it ASAP or the suit would be ruined. I stumbled across Berkland during my search and they definitely lived up to their ratings. For only 18 bucks they restored both the dress shirt and the blazer AND pressed my pants. The tux looks better than new and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. True magicians.

Comment: I live in the neighborhood and these guys are always super polite and friendly, the service is on point and on time, and prices are very reasonable. I also appreciate the use of organic cleaning supplies. Parking can be dicey on busy Sacramento street but there are several green 15 min spots outside so it usually not a problem.

Comment: I had my clothing dry cleaned by them for some years. I moved a year ago and tried two other, closer, cleaners. I wasnt as satisfied with the quality and attention to detail. I went back to Berkland Cleaners and not only is the quality of cleaning better, but they repaired a hem on my dress slacks which I didnt tell them about. I had purchased the slacks online and had them hemmed to my length by the seller. The seller did a haphazard job on one leg. Berkland repaired it free; and they are always friendly.
